Rein went to the shore again and cried her heart out. Seeing his face was a bad idea. She kept remembering the incident last night. She sat on the sand and stared at the blue water ahead of her. What if she just drowned herself to end her suffering? Maybe if she did that, all of her problems will go away. So she stood up and went close to the water. She could feel the coldness of it like her heart, feeling nothing but hatred. Because of that stupid guy, stupid job and stupid heart, she ended up like this. The water is now above her shoulders. Her tears keep flowing on her face. She closed her eyes and went deeper to the water.

"Rein!" she heard a familiar voice. She saw Fango who was panting hard and looking very worried at her. "What the heck are you doing?! Get out of the water now!"

Rein looked at him with sadness, "No! I can't take it anymore! It really hurts, I don't know what to do anymore…so if I end my life, it will all end and I can be happy again"

"Idiot! What about your dream? What about your friends? What about your family? There are still a lot of things in life, beautiful things! Life is too precious Rein, don't end it just because of that bastard…there are still a lot of other guys out there, waiting for you to notice them. So don't kill yourself…please" Fango said as he breathed heavily.

Rein stopped on her track. He's right. There are still a lot of things that can happen to me. Maybe Shade is just a test that I've to overcome. What am I doing? I'm about to do another stupid thing again. Baka Rein, wake up! And how could I forget about mom, she still needs me. I'm so stupid!

Rein decided to go back when a huge wave fell on her. She gasped and tried to swim faster but the wave caught her. Fango gaped at the sight in front of him.

"Rein!"

Shade slumped on his bed or Rein and his' bed. He can't forget about their tense scene earlier. Why was she so angry? Why does she look so hurt? And why the heck does Bright know about that? He groaned as he messed his hair. He needed answers and there is one person that could help him. He stood up and went on Bright's room. He didn't bother knocking on the door. Luckily, Bright was there all alone.

"What are you doing here?" Bright asked rudely.

Man, even Bright was furious to him. Shade went inside after he closed the door and lock it. "I need to know what happened"

"What?" Bright asked as he raised one of his eyebrows.

"Why was Rein acting that way? Why is she so angry at me?" Shade asked curiously.

"Why are you asking me that? Why don't you ask her instead?" Bright turned to another direction.

Shade glared at his best friend, or is he still his friend? He grabbed his arms forcefully and threw him a dark look, "I know you know what happened! Tell me!"

"If you're so curious about it, ask her instead!" Bright exclaimed.

"She won't even have a decent conversation with me! Tell me what you know!" Shade demanded as his grip tightened.

"I don't know! I only said that Fine likes you very much and then she started to panicked and run to search for you guys!" Bright removed Shade's hands on him and stood up, "Don't involve me again on your problems"

Slam!

Shade's eyes turned wide. She looked for us? Did she saw us together that's why she…f*ck!

Rein groaned as she opened her eyes. What happened? She sat the bed where she is lying. She tried to remember what happened. Then her head throbbed. She cried in pain. She now remembers, she tried to kill herself by drowning her body into the water.

I can't believe I did that. But thank goodness I'm still alive. Kami-sama, thank you…I promise not to waste my life again. Rein stared at the window.

"Hey, how are you feeling?" Fango asked as he walked near her while carrying a bowl of soup and a glass of water.

Rein smiled brightly, "Better"

"Great, just rest for a while and eat this" Fango said as he placed the bowl on the table.

"Thank you for taking care of me" Rein smiled, "I already own you a lot. You took me in, feed me and even save my life. How could I ever repay you?"

Fango stared at her eyes lovingly, "Rein, I know it's too soon but I already learn to love you in just a short time. I guess this is what they call love at first sight so, can you accept my love? I'll promise to bring you happiness and never hurt you like what that bastard did"

"Huh?" Rein stared at him with disbelief, "Fango I…I'm sorry"

Fango's eyes saddened, "Is it because of that bastard? How can you still think about him after all he has done to you?"

"No, it's not like that… I just…the sorrow and hatred in my heart is just fresh so I still can't think about love life right now. You do understand right? I'm so sorry, you can ask anything but that" Rein explained.

"I'm sorry, I should've thought about that" Fango sighed, "For now, I want you to eat the soup I made and take a rest. Once you've gain your cheerfulness, I guess you could count that as your repay"

"Why are you so kind? You do know that I can abuse you if you stay like that" Rein joked.

"If it makes you happy, why not?" Fango smiled.

"Sweet talk, doesn't suit you at all" Rein laughed then she remembered something. Deja vu?

"Oi, you okay?" Fango asked worriedly.

"Eh? Of course!" Rein smiled then she took the soup, "Itadakimasu!"

Shade sighed as he lean on the window pane. He stared at the moon and the stars that are shining brightly. It was just like Rein's smile, so bright that could make his heart melt. But why did he make her cry? He can't believe he just hurt her in a glimpse of time. Then he remembered Fine's confession, he had no choice.

Flashback:

Fine brought Shade to an empty space, somewhere far away from the others and somewhere where they can be alone. Then Fine looked at him with serious eyes and sighed.

"I'm sure you have an idea why I wanted to talk with you" Fine said.

Shade shrugged, "I don't"

Fine looked disappointed, "Shade I'll say this again…I still like you! No I think that's not the right word, because I still love you! Shade, you're the only one I think about. You're the only one who makes my heart race! You're the most special guy to me! You're my one and only love…please, come back to me"

"Fine, I already told you, I have a new special someone" Shade muttered.

Fine started to cry, "Why? How did she replace me? Your relationship still hasn't lasted a year so how? Tell me!"

"She just…she's different…I don't know how she did it but I'm madly in love with her" Shade said with serious eyes.

Fine chuckled, "No way…you're joking right? That girl, that simple looking girl made you crazy? Oh I get it, maybe she hypnotized you or use dark magic or I don't know. Because that's impossible, how could she steal your heart in just a short time? But me, it took a lot of months or years just to take your heart away!"

"Like I told you, she's different" Shade said.

"Shade…I…I" Fine broke into tears and collapsed on the sand, "I won't accept that! I won't accept your decision! It's so unfair! I love you Shade! I love you more than anything! Even if you continue to reject me, I won't stop telling you how much I love you until you finally comeback in my arms! Shade I love you! I love you! I love you!"

"Fine, stop it and stand up" Shade went near her and tried to make her stand.

Fine fought back, "No! I won't stop until you say that you love me too! Shade, don't you know how much you've hurt me! Especially when I see you with that girl! Your sweet moments, it makes me sick! Shade please, give us a chance again! I promise I will not act stupid again to break our relationship…please Shade. I really love you! Call me crazy, I am! I'm crazy for you Shade!"

"Fine I…" Shade stared at Fine's eyes, "I'm sorry"

Fine stood up, "What? You're sorry? Shade! That's not the answer that I want! If you don't accept me…I'll commit suicide! I kill myself right know!"

"You…will you stop this drama!" Shade exclaimed as he also stood up.

"I won't! Not until I get you back! Shade I want to let you know that I made this vacation because of you! To get you back! And this vacation will end with you back with me again! I know I'm desperate but if this is the only thing that could get you back…I will do anything!" Fine exclaimed, "So Shade, make a decision…or else the water is just near and I could end it here"

Shade's breathing stopped. Fine really looks pitiful and hurt. What is he going to do? If he choose Rein who knows what crazy things will Fine do, looking at her she already loss her mind. But if he choose Fine, maybe things will get better, maybe. Shade sighed and went close to Fine. He wiped her tears and then hugged her tight.

"I still love you too, Fine" Shade whispered in her ear, "I guess when you dumped me I was seeking for love that I forgot about our memories together"

Fine hugged him back, "Is this really true? You're saying that you love me back. Tell me that I'm not dreaming Shade, because if I am then I don't want to wake up"

"You're not dreaming…this is reality" Shade muttered as he faced her.

"Shade, thank you…I promise to keep our relationship perfect just like before" Fine cupped his cheeks and then tiptoed to kiss him. Shade kissed her back. She ran her fingers in his soft hair, just like before. Now she's happy, her goal is accomplished.

End of Flashback

Shade massaged his temples. He was blinded by Fine that he forgot about Rein. He knows that she can hardly forgive him. He hurt her so much. Damn, he even promised to her that he will come back and almost confess to her. But now that's way too impossible to happen. Maybe in the first place they are not meant to be together after all their relationship is just a lie.
