LAST CHAPTER! omg. No worries, after I post this Im going to start on Chapter 1 of the sequel: Ruler of Neverland!
I sighed loudly as I flew over the sparkling, blue, crashing waves. This was supposed to be a happy occasion. We won. Cami is going home, I should be happy, excited. Im not. Im stressing, Im worried.
What's going to happen now that I have powers? That they're 'bad' powers. Am I going to become evil? I wish I could say no, but I know that it has already 's why I didn't mind if Cami got killed, or that I wanted her killed. I hope this is as bad as it gets. Though, I know that is so doubtful. Then Cami. Yeah, she's leaving, woohoo. But at the same time its sad. I lost my best friend. She was one of the few friends I had and now we're no more. I just don't know what to do or think anymore.
I looked behind me to see Cami glaring at me.
"What are you glaring at me for?" I growled, annoyed, as I tried to slow my flying speed down, but Peter pushed me forward, forcing me to stay away from Cami.
" I hate you." She mumbled as her blonde hair whacked her in the face." That's why." I gritted my teeth together and tried to ignore her. I tried to keep what I wanted to say inside, but it was really no use.
"Cami." I yelled quite loudly, but remained flying in front of her. " I'm not the one who tried to kill you. You tried to kill me." I muttered as Peter remained between us so we couldn't attack each other.
" I didn't try to kill you. Just hurt you."
"Same difference." I sighed loudly as I stared at the clouds in front of us.
"No its not." Cami argued back as she tried to fly next me, but again Peter forced her back.
"Just shut the hell up." I yelled extremely annoyed. " Im tired of you. Just shut up." I yelled even louder but quickly stopped when I saw the black sparks coming from my hands. I sighed as I quickly grabbed my hands and pulled them close to me.
Please stop. Not now. I pleaded to myself, or to my powers, I suppose.
"Wendy, don't get too worked up. Your powers, remember." Peter stated as we continued to get closer to the small city in front of us.
" I know, Peter. Thanks." I replied back, trying to remain calm.
"Why don't you just use your powers to kill me or something?" Cami mocked at me as she laughed as if she had just made the best joke.
"Do you really want that?" I snapped as I turned around and hovered in mid-air, in front of Cami.
"Wendy…"
Peter warned.
" I'd love to see you try." She smirked as she as well stopped flying.
"That's it." I growled under my breath. Peter must've heard me because he quickly snapped his head towards me and looked frantic. I ignored this and continued what I was about to do. I quickly pulled my arm back, while clenching my hand into a fist, and then I thrusted my arm forward while flinging my hand open at Cami. After I did this it seemed as if something had hit her and she was thrown back into the ocean. While she screamed, you could hear the small splash her descent had made.
"Wendy!" Peter screamed at me as he flew down to get her.
"She asked me too!" I smirked as I crossed my arms over my chest. Within seconds Peter had brought back up a soaking wet Cami. She was shivering and she had a glare etched onto her face.
"You're welcome." I smiled sarcastically and continued flying towards the city. The cold wind continued to hit me as I thought of all I could do with these powers.
No. You can use them for good. GOOD.
"What the hell was that?" Peter growled suddenly, causing me to jolt away from him..
"Yeah..just it'd probably be best if it didn't happen again."
"Yeah I know." I turned my head quickly to look at him and then looked back at the view in front of me.
What happened to everyone? What happened to two weeks ago, when everything was normal? I wish I could have that back.
"Look, we're here!" I said excitedly as we flew right over Cami's neighborhood. "Time to get rid of you!" I smiled at Cami who just rolled her eyes at my rude statement.
"Yeah, it was fun." She spoke sarcastically as she looked at Peter and me. Peter awkwardly cleared his throat before he spoke.
"Um. So I guess we need to land and then we can have an official good bye and stuff."
"Yeah.." Cami and I both said almost simultaneously. We then flew down onto the street that was one street away from where Cami's house was located.
"Have a good life." Peter awkwardly said as Cami was getting ready to walk away.
"Uh, yeah, you too." She responded a bit annoyed. " Bye Wendy." She said uninterested.
"Uh wait." I coughed as I stepped forward a little bit.
"What?" Peter and Cami both asked a bit confused.
"Uh…" I began slowly and they both gave me a confused look. " I was thinking.." I paused again as I looked all around me." That I'd stay here."
"What?" Peter and Cami both yelled. Peter sounding a bit more hurt and surprised than Cami.
"Yeah. I've been thinking I should stay here for a while. Go back home."
"What are you talking about?" Peter asked frantically as his face painted on a sad and confused expression. " You said, before,that you were staying in Neverland. Wendy?"
I sighed as I ran my hand through my hair. " Only for a year."
"A year?" Peter gaped at me.
"Just a year! I'm sure it'll go by quick in Neverland. I just need a year to sort everything out. I'll probably get these powers controlled. Plus I'd like to age a year, that way we can both be the same age."
"But what if in a year you change your mind? What if you don't want to come back? What if you're locked up some where and I can't get to you?" Peter rambled on about tons and tons of questions.
" I wont change my mind. It'll all work out, I promise. Come back here and get me, exactly a year from now. Okay?"
Peter stared at me for what seemed like an eternity. His eyes flicked quickly, as if preventing getting 'too emotional'. "Okay." He responded hoarsely.
"Well Im gonna go now." Cami muttered as she quickly walked away from Peter and me.
Peter looked at me and then crashed his lips to mine, for a very long time. After what seemed like ten minutes he pulled away and leaned his forehead against mine.
"Im going to miss you."
"Im going to miss you too." I responded back as I slowly pulled away from him. "But it'll be okay." I hugged him tightly and then started walking away from him.
"See you in a year?" He asked as a small smile formed onto his face.
"See you in a year." I smiled back as I walked down the middle of the street, leaving the best thing that has ever happened to me, behind.
It's finished! AHHH! Okay so now im starting on the sequel!
