Hello ladies and gents and welcome to chapter 24. Had to write this a little later than I thought I was going to due to school stuff, but now since that's out of the way I can write as much of the fanfic I want. YAY ^_^

Chapter 24: Everything is going "Great"

"Hey! Are you guys alive?" Gokudera yelled as he pounded on the wall that blocked the way they came from. When he heard no response he kicked on the wall as he yelled "Dammit!"

"What do you think happened?" Riku asked as he looked away from Gokudera and towards Ryohei, who was looking at his small tablet.

"I don't know how, but they changed the location of each room." He answered while he scratched his head.

"How the hell does that make sense?" Gokudera marched towards Ryohei and grabbed him by the collar. "Where are they?"

Even with Gokudera's hand around his collar, Ryohei stayed calm as he stared right at the teen. "I have no clue." He said. As Gokudera let go, Ryohei looked at his tablet again. "All the rooms have been mixed and moved. Our original map system is completely useless."

"So what you're saying is that we have no clue where we are and what's ahead of us." Riku said, getting a nod from Ryohei as a response. "Great…"

"Well there's nothing left to do but keep moving forward." Ryohei ordered as he began walking towards the door with the two silver haired boys behind.

Once the door slid open, the three fighters were now in a much larger room, devoid of anything interesting. The room was empty besides two figures standing in the middle of the room. The person on the left wore a brown cloak and their face was covered by the hood. But the person on the right was someone who Riku and Gokudera recognized.

"It's you!" Riku yelled at the blond man who knocked him out when he first entered the world. "Gamma!"

"What do you think happened?" Yamamoto asked as he rested his hands on the wall that separated their friends. "It felt like we were in one gigantic elevator."

"No clue." Sora, who was still carrying the unconscious Lal Mirch on his back, answered. "I hope everyone else is okay."

Yamamoto looked behind him and past Sora. The path that they came from looked completely the same as before, but he had a sneaking suspicion that this wasn't the case. "Come on. Let's head back and see if we can find a way to meet up with the others." He began walking and Sora quickly followed.

I couldn't believe I was still alive. I was sure I was done for when that giant robot smashed my face against the wall. But I could feel the coldness of the floor, my breath going in and out, my fingers twitching. The strange thing was that I couldn't feel any pain. I knew that I heal fast, but normally I would still feel a metallic punch to the face. Another strange thing was that everything was quiet. Shouldn't Tsuna be fighting the robot right now? What if the fighting was already over? What if something bad happened to Tsuna. I decided to buck up and open my eyes…only to get blinded by the light.

Well I shouldn't really say "light." More like white. As in everything around me was white. In every direction, even the very floor I'm lying on was white. As I slowly stood up, I began to recognize the very room I was in, and the little girl who was trapped in there.

"Katherine?" I yelled out her name, only to get no response. I took a step, realizing I could actually move now. I walked for about two minutes, but with the silence and the loneliness, it felt like an eternity. "Katherine! Are you here?!" I yelled again.

As I continued to walk, I noticed two figures in front of me. One of them was little and had brown hair, I could instantly tell who that was. But for the taller one, I had no clue who that was. She had brown hair just like Katherine, but she looked like she was about my age. She wore what looked like a school uniform. A red sleeveless jacket over a black blouse and a black skirt that goes to her knees. For some reason, she looked familiar.

Suddenly I watched something that I couldn't believe. The taller girl straightened her back and these beautiful white wings spread from it. They were just about as wide as mine, but looked like Angel's. I couldn't see them for that long, because immediately as she took them out, they began to disintegrate. Once they had completely disappeared, I felt something something happening on my back. I straightened and began to feel something feathery. I looked behind me to see my brown wings beginning grow from my back. Wait. If her wings disappeared, and my wings came back, then that means…no.

I brought my attention back to Katherine and her special guest. It seemed like the older one noticed my presence. That girl. She's the one who has been using my wings. Just who was she?

It seemed that Katherine noticed my existence due to the older girl staring at me. She turned around and yelled "Big Sis!" when she saw me. The little girl ran up to me and wrapped her tiny little arms around my waist, taking my attention from away the mystery girl for a few seconds. "I'm so happy you're okay!" Katherine said as adding in a little sniffle for good measure.

I wrapped my arms around the tiny, sniffling girl, trying to calm her down. As she was crying, I looked back up to see the stranger staring at us. Her head tilted, her blue eyes staring right at us. I turned my eyes back to Katherine, who's crying was beginning die down. "Katherine, who is that?"

Katherine turned her head away from my waist and towards my face. Her eyes were still watery from her tears, but her mouth was formed into a smile. "She's my friend!" She shared with glee. "Hey! Come over-" She turned around where the strange girl was, only to find complete whiteness in her place. The mystery girl was gone.

"Huh? Where did she go?" I asked, letting Katherine go and walking to where the girl disappeared to.

"Hold on. I'll check." Katherine reassured me. I looked back at her to see her eyes closed, as if she was concentrating on something. Once she opened them, her irises were now a fiery looking red. I stood there amazed at how much she has learned in such a little time. Last time I was here, she was confused and didn't know what to do. But now…now she was amazing. "She was woken up by the mouse king."

"Mouse king…" I whispered to myself the familiar sounding title.

"He looks so scared. It looks like something something big has happened." Katherine continued to explain. Her newly red eyes glowing like a flame in front of a projection. "I can't really hear them well, except for one word."

Why is it that every time I'm here, the other person is going through something big. "What word?"

Katherine looked at me. Once again, I was distracted by her red eyes. Now I could clearly see little white flashes flying through her irises. "War…" Katherine started walking away. Her face was stern, her pace was quick.

"Katherine? Where are you going?" I asked.

The response I got was the cute little girl turning her head, tilting her head, and giving me a big smile. "I'm going to protect my friend." She said as she suddenly began to glow. I had to close my eyes due to it being so blinding.

"Don't worry Big Sis. I have the power to protect both of you…"

"Katherine!" I yelled as I pulled my body upward. My breathing quickly going in and out as I realized that I wasn't in the same room. I looked down to see I was lying on a futon, covered by a blanket. My clothes had changed too. I was wearing a green jumpsuit, mostly covered in dirt and filth. I looked up and notice the entire place was small, sort of like a broom closet, but a tiny bit bigger. There little bits of machinery all over the walls. The smell of herbal tea lingered in the air. My nose lead my face towards a man with sitting away from me and typing away at a computer. The only thing I can tell was that he had blond straight hair.

"Ah! You're awake." I heard a deep, suave, voice coming from the same direction. "You beat your friend to the punch." The man lifted his hand and pointed to the right.

I turned my head to see a sleeping boy with spiky hair, not a care in the world in his face. "Tsuna!" I yelled as I extended my arm towards the knocked out boy, only to stop it halfway. I felt a force keeping my arm at a certain distance. I looked at my right arm to see a silver handcuff around my wrist.

I suddenly felt something cold pushed against my head. I slowly turned my head to see a barrel of a gun pointing right at my head. Behind the gun, there were the emerald green eyes of the blond man. "Take it easy, little girl." The man said in the same calm voice as before. "Right now, you and the Vongola Boss are missing in action. You understand?"

"Bastard!" Gokudera yelled at the man holding the electrified pool cue. "Still alive, huh?" Riku noticed Gokudera's hand hovering over his belt of boxes.

"Hold it!" He yelled, getting an ugly look from Gokudera. "Did you already forget, that he's not alone." Riku turned his attention to the brown hooded man standing right next to Gamma, who hadn't even said a word. "So what's your story?"

The hooded man stayed quiet staring only at Riku, giving him a chill down his spine. "You…" He began to speak, which surprised everyone, including Gamma. "You're not Ventus…" Suddenly a dark aura surrounded the man's right hand and something began to form.

"No way…" Riku whispered to himself as a weapon could now be seen in the man's hand. "A keyblade!"

The teeth and head of the weapon were black with a red outline and possessed a round, cog-like shape. The handle was red and the guard had the same coloration and cog-like shape as the teeth. The shaft was colored in shades of grey and sports a coppered-colored gear in the center, with two intersecting black chains wrapped around it. Two more chains were wrapped around the base of the shaft in a similar fashion. And, if it wasn't creepy enough, there were two cat-like eyes embedded into the blade. One on the head and the other on the hilt. This menacing looking keyblade was unlike any others Riku had seen.

For a brief second Riku looked into the man's hood and saw familiar looking yellow eyes right before the man said "Die!"

Not even another second had passed before the man had disappeared and reappeared in front of Riku, with his keyblade going through the young man's left shoulder.

"Riku!" Gokudera and Ryohei's scream echoed in the room.

"Another dead end?" Yamamoto asked as he stared at the fifth gigantic wall they've come across. "Man. This place is such a maze."

"Well, looks like we have to head back again." Sora mentioned as he began to walk away, arms getting tired from carrying Lal.

"You know I can carry her if you're getting tired." Yamamoto offered as he caught up to Sora.

Sora shook his head. "No thanks. I promised Max that I would take care of her." He then turned his head towards Yamamoto with a big grin on his face. "I never turn back on my promises."

The little quiet moment didn't last long however. The wall in front of the two suddenly began to fall. After the loud "THUMP", Sora and Yamamoto were trapped.

Or at least they thought.

After a few seconds, the wall to their left went up, leading to a new hallway. Sora and Yamamoto looked at each other, nodded, then made their way towards to the newly opened hall.

"So what do you think that was about?" Sora asked as he looked in every direction for any attackers.

"Don't know. Probably leading us into a horrible trap." Yamamoto answered, followed by a laugh, as if nothing bad was going to happen. "Well anyways, we can't stay in that little room forever. All we can do is just keep movi-"

Yamamoto stopped halfway when he felt a chill down his spine. He looked at Sora, whose face almost matched his, so his suspicion was right. They had company, and a strong one at that. He looked all around, but couldn't find a soul.

"Sora. I want you to back up and take care of Lal." He said as he took out his bamboo sword that he had been strapped on his back. Slowly, the sword began to transform into an actual blade. Yamamoto let out some sort of war cry and the sword was ignited by blue flames. Flames of the rain attribute. "We got company." Sora took the advice and took a few steps back.

Moments later, a thick purple fog began to cover the room. Beyond it, Sora saw two people making their way towards them. At least they know how to make an entrance. He thought. Once they passed the fog, Sora quickly studied them. The man on the right wore a black and purple jumpsuit with silver plates on his shoulders, had black, bowlish hair, and plenty of swords around his waist. This man's cold stare sent chills down Sora's spine.

Meanwhile the man on the left wore more normal clothes than the other one. He wore a black tanktop with tight jeans. His black hair was so long, even though it was tied up in a ponytail, it still reached his back. In the man's right hand was a gigantic sword. The entire blade was white and shaped like a cross. The middle of the blade had lines shooting out in every direction, making them look like rays of light. Sora held in his breath when he realized that he had seen that sword before. He had seen it once before, in Master Yen Sid's office.

That's the sword Master warned us about. He thought. The sword that destroyed seven worlds. But what's it doing here? Sora had to think of something fast, there was no way that Yamamoto can take both at once. He rapidly ran to the wall and rested Lal against it. "Please be safe." He whispered as he left the unconscious girl, joined Yamamoto, Summoned his Oathkeeper keyblade, and took his regular battle stance, prepared to fight.

"I got two question I'd like to ask you, since I'm a prisoner after all." I asked my kidnapper, next to the sleeping Tsuna, who still had no idea of his circumstances.

"Go for it." The blonde man said, still typing away in his computer.

"One, what's your name? And two, where the hell are my clothes?" I asked, praying to God that he didn't do what was running through my mind.

"One, my name is Spanner. And two, your clothes are over there." He pointed to his right to a clothesline filled with both mine and Tsuna's clothes. "They're all soaked. And before you ask, no, I didn't change you." He pointed to his left towards a small robot that was similar to the others we fought. So HE was the one controlling the robots. "He did."

Yeah…that made me feel SO much better. I looked away from my captor and looked at my handcuffs that were on my arms. "Another question."

"Shoot."

"Why didn't you kill us?" It seemed I got his attention because I couldn't hear any more typing from him. "Considering you kidnapped us both, that means you defeated us. Why did you let us live?"

Spanner turned around, clearly showing off a lollipop sticking out of his mouth. He lifted his chin and pointed towards Tsuna. "Because of him. When one my Moscas knocked you unconscious, the boy flew straight over here, with pure anger in his eyes. He then pulled off this incredible move with ginormous power, but he couldn't stabilize it just yet. I want to see that move perfected. I'm going to make him complete it."

What's with this guy…

"Gokudera! Protect Riku from that cloaked guy!" Ryohei ordered as he took out his box. "I'll take care of Gamma." He lighted up his ring and pressed it against the box.

A light beamed out of it and it quickly took shape of a kangaroo with yellow flames shooting out from it's tail and ears. The box animal looked like it went through Hell and back. It had scars all across it's body, bandages on it's arms and left ear.

"Garyuu! NOW!" Ryohei yelled as the kangaroos pouch began to glow. Two beams of light shot out and flew straight to Ryohei's arms and legs. As the light settled, he was now sporting new boxer-like glove and new boots. Yellow flames shot out from the bottom of the boots, making Ryohei hover in the air.

"Hmm…So now you can fly now." Gamma said, his voice calm. "What an interesting box you have there."

"Let's go!" Ryohei screamed as he charged towards Gamma, leaving Gokudera and Riku alone with the cloaked man with the strange keyblade.

"Stay alive Riku!" Gokudera yelled, with the skull shaped arm cannon on his left arm aiming it at the man.

"Don't need to tell me twice!" Riku said, holding his Way to the Dawn Keyblade. Even though he already used Curaga on his shoulder, it still left a burning pain. Just from the stab earlier, he knew this man was strong, so they had to beat him as fast as possible.

Taking the first move, Gokudera shot out a shell, letting out a red flame coming out of the skull's mouth. The cloaked man quickly jumped to the left, completely dodging the flames. Riku charged towards him while he was still in the air, jumped, and swung his keyblade towards the man's chest, only to get blocked by the darker keyblade. The man pushed Riku away and, once he was back on the floor, aimed his keyblade towards both of his opponents and shot out six beams of darkness. Riku and Gokudera quickly separated and began running in opposite directions.

Riku took a quick peek a how Ryohei was doing. Gamma was shooting electrified pool balls, like he was when Riku first entered the world, but Ryohei was punching them away. Once the balls were rendered useless, Ryohei went straight in for the attack. Ryohei flew towards Gamma and punched him in the face, sending him flying towards the wall. This entire fight began to look like some sort of pay-per-view event. Something Riku would pay top dollar to see if he wasn't involved in it.

Riku brought his attention back to the cloaked man, who began charging Riku, keyblade up in the air. Riku blocked when he was about to strike, only to get fooled and get side-kicked, sending him crashing to the floor. Right before he was about to get stabbed in the face, the cloaked man was sent flying by red flames to the back.

"I told you to stay alive! The Tenth wants us all to come back alive!" Gokudera yelled as he rushed to Riku, holding out his hand. Riku let out a sly grin as he accepted Gokudera's help.

"Sora! You okay!" Yamamoto asked as continued to block the man in the purple jumpsuits strike.

"Yeah!" Sora yelled. "Don't worry about me! Take care of that guy!"

He wiped some spit from his lips as he stared the guy who sucker punched him in the gut. Sora was thinking too much of the sword that his opponent was holding rather than the man himself.

"You… Do you work for Maleficent?" Sora asked, pointing his keyblade to the man's face.

At first the man looked shocked, but his wide eyes turned back to normal as his mouth turned from straight to down. "Listen here, kid. I don't work for that old witch!" He began to yell. "I'm only using her to get what I want!" It seemed like Sora struck a nerve. He could see the man's hand tightened the grip of his sword.

"But you destroyed so many worlds! Killed so many people! Don't you care what happens to the rest of the galaxy?"

"Shut UP!" The man yelled. His scream alone sent out a strong wave of...something straight to Sora. "YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT I'VE BEEN THROUGH!"

Sora watched as black wings began to spread across the man's back. No way! Wings?! Could this guy be from Max's world? Sora's attention was brought towards the winged, really pissed off, man's feet. A pool of darkness now surrounded him. Little tentacle-like things began going up the man's body and wrapping around the sword. In a matter of seconds, the once white blade was now completely covered in darkness. This could be trouble…

The man looked up at Sora, eyes now red like an angered bull seeing a red flag. He lifted up his sword as he screamed out "DIE!" and charged towards Sora.

To be continued…
