Nanao and Shunsui were relaxing on the couch in the living room watching TV. Shunsui's hand was happily settled on Nanao's growing stomach. Shunsui was thinking back to when Nanao told him that they were going to have a baby.
They were having an argument about Shunsui may have cheated on Nanao. There were rumors going around that he slept with an ex-girlfriend of his behind Nanao's back. Though, he can't really blame Nanao for doubting, due to her lack of romantic relationships and he did have a reputation of being a womanizer. Though, he was only a womanizer when he was in college. Also, these accusations always happened when he started a relationship with someone he truly liked. It was getting really annoying.
So, of course, he was getting pissed with all the accusations that he had received and ultimately took it out all the bottled up emotions on to Nanao. Nanao clearly got upset and started yelling at him. While she was yelling, he noticed that she started to slip and she then started to cry.
He ended up carrying her to the couch, with Nanao placed on his lap, and consoling her until she stopped crying. She told him that she found out that she was pregnant earlier that day and his ex-girlfriend had come up to her and told her that she slept with him behind her back.
Shunsui was overjoyed that he was going to have a baby with Nanao but also pissed that his ex would say that to Nanao.
"What are you thinking about?" Nanao asked.
"When you told me you were pregnant. I still can't believe that we are going to have a baby, to be quite honest," Shunsui said.
"Believe it, moron. Just so you know, you will be in that delivery room when the kid comes out, and I will make sure you will be suffering with me. Also, I am thankful that your mother decided to help out with putting the baby's room together." Nanao said with a smile on her face as she looked up at Shunsui.
"Aww, Nanao-chan! Why are you so cruel?" Shunsui said jokingly as he looked down at Nanao. "And what is wrong with having the baby's room all pink?" Shunsui asked innocently even though he already knew the answer.
"There is no way in hell that any child of mine will have your bizarre love to the colour pink. Besides, we decided that we will find out the gender of the baby when the baby is born, so it is best to have at least something nice for the kid to come home too" Nanao said.
All Shunsui did was smile and kiss Nanao on the lips.
"I still think we should get the kid a pink Hawaiian shirt, Nanao-chan" Shunsui said.
"Do you want to sleep on the couch tonight?" Nanao calmly said.
"Nanao-chan!" Shunsui said.
