Chapter 25
"You two have a major test on your hands and you must save your friends or they will die!" Mab exclaimed.
"We will be watching of course." Titania said.
We watched them vanish in thin air.
"Be quick! You will be timed once you get to Faerie." Mab said in the air.
"Hey! Get back here!" Natsu yelled.
Why did this have to happen to me? First I have to go to a world where magic runs differently and bring those wizards back with me and have them taken by the queens of Faerie. Well, the two queens who want them.
We went inside to devise a plan but it didn't help much since I was pacing back and forth from one end of Butters' apartment to another.
"You need to sit down or you will run the floor down to the basement if this building has one." Butters said as he watched.
"He is right boss! Chill out!" Bob exclaimed from the table, which he was still there when we left to help Grey out and then the Mirror Guild member decided to attack afterwards.
"Chill out? How can I when I'm responsible for letting Mab get the rest of Fairy Tail before getting those Mirror Guild guys out of our world and back into Fiore with them?" I asked and kept pacing.
"You make it sound bad." Happy said.
"It is, you don't understand what Faerie holds for meer mortals like your buddies!" Molly said.
"You are still human aren't you? You can get them out easily like the past couple of times when you helped." Grey said.
"It's not that easy, I am part of the Winter Court and Mab's our queen, we can't waltz in and hand you over when your friends' lives are in danger." I answered and stopped pacing.
"Is it that bad?" Happy asked.
"It can be if we decide to do what I just said." I said.
It was hard to find a way of talking about Faerie since the world is complicated in itself. It may have its wonders but entering it can put you in random spots and time happens differently than my own world and knowing how connected it is, it is also different from Fiore by the looks of it.
"If you were to enter that world, you don't know what will hold for you." Bob said.
"What do you mean?" Natsu asked.
"There are different ways of going in and out and you may be in place you can find paradise or even in a hellish place that might kill you! That is why Molly and Harry were careful in finding the different ways of entering and exiting and the way that the White Council safely." He said.
"Well, we can find the way that you use can we?" Natsu asked.
Molly grimaced and said, "Not so easy when two queens want you as their own and besides you two are still being tested to find your friends and knowing where they are in Faerie will be a tricky search."
"She does have a point." Bob said.
Grey scratched his head and asked, "What about those pixies of yours? Can't they help!?"
Molly looked over at me and then I thought it over in how Toot and Lacuna can be a great help to us.
"They can but at the same time it will still be tricky since Faerie is so vast!" I exclaimed.
"Well, there's us!" Cerissa said and looked at Molly. "After being around the Fairy Tail members, our way of finding them may be easy." Cerissa said.
"That is true, we can track them down!" Molly exclaimed.
"Great!" Natsu exclaimed and stood up and was about to head for the door. "Let's go and find them!"
I grabbed him by the scruff of his shirt and said, "Not so fast Dragon Boy! There is something else you need to know and it deals with the entire world of Faerie!"
"Huh? What do you mean by that?" Grey asked.
"There's important rules to the world of Faerie." Molly said.
"Rules?" Natsu asked.
"Yes! Rules! Now sit down!" I said and plopped him down.
Like our world, Faerie has rules to abide by and it can be tricky since faeries are fickle in their own way. Even if they can't lie, they can also trick anyone into their glamour or anything else that may come your way. I even still remember how I was almost tricked in falling for Jenny Green Teeth a few years back and had to dump water to get out of it. In the end, rules are rules, no matter where you go! At least in Fiore, on the other hand, it's simple enough in not being in a dark guild.
"The rule or main rules of Faerie are not to take anything that is offered to you, such as food, drinks, and anything magic related! You must rely on your own magic and I would say avoid any faerie delicacies, especially you Natsu!" I said.
"What do you mean?" Natsu asked.
"What he means is don't eat anything that a faerie cooked! For instance, if a pixie made a truffle out of the stuff in Faerie, don't eat it." Cerissa said.
I had to give her props since Natsu didn't get it and after knowing him, he does eat anything even if it's a ball of flame.
"And another note is don't make any favors with faeries either! If you do then you're doomed to repay it in the terms of who you pay it to." I said.
Happy and Natsu gulped.
"Easy enough for me!" Grey exclaimed.
"There is one more thing I need to do and it deals with your guys' eyes." I said and nodded to Molly.
She also nodded and presented a small vial from her own pocket that held the greasy ointement, which I had made for trips to Faerie. I had Molly hold onto it since I had to make a new batch after my apartment burnt down and did it in her apartment, so she agreed to hold onto it.
"What is that stuff?" Grey asked.
"This is something that will help you three see through the glamour and the same with whoever we find." I said and opened the vial.
I got close to Natsu and Happy and they smelled it.
"Ugh! That stuff stinks!" he exclaimed.
"Aye!" Happy exclaimed.
Grey came over and said, "Quit being whimps! You two want to find the others out there, right!?"
"Yeah." Happy said.
"But that stuff stinks!" Natsu exclaimed.
"Quit being a wussie!" I yelled and put the stuff on Grey and then on Happy and Natsu around their eyes.
"What about you?" Grey asked.
"I'm the Winter Knight, I go through without this stuff." I said and put the vial into my pocket. "Butters, Murph, make sure Bob goes out and find the rest of the Mirror Guild members! We want to find them a lot more easily instead of them finding us!"
"You got it!" Murphy exclaimed.
"Be careful out there." Butters said.
"Right! Protect yourself and everyone else, you got it Jedi Knight?" I asked.
He nodded.
We went outside and I saw a light leave the apartment and knew that Bob was out.
Cerissa, Fix, and Molly joined us.
"Ready Molly?" Cerissa asked.
"You bet." She said and faced the night and held up her hands and said, "Aparturum!"
A slit appeared and opened in front of us and we all stepped inside without knowing where we will be sent. Knowing what it may hold, Fairy Tail will be found!
