Chapter 25: Friends From The Past
So here's chapter 25, there's not much to say about this chapter. The only thing you really need to know is what Astral's thinking about doing to himself, and I can tell you it's not going to be pretty

*Barain World*
Dark side: "I'm sorry Astral, he's…"
Astral: "I already knew that. And because of you three, my chance for revenge was wasted!"
Corrupt: "Killing him wouldn't bring Dark Mist back, you of all people know that Astral."
Astral: "But if I got revenge, then that would mean Dark Mist's sacrifice wouldn't have been in vain." (said crying)
Corrupt: "It doesn't matter if you got revenge or not, Dark Mist's sacrifice will never be in vain. NEVER"
Dark side: "Let's go home Astral, Yuma and the others miss you."
Astral: "Fine."
Just before Astral and the others leave, Yuma and others arrive.
Yuma: "Astral! Dark Mist are you-"
Yuma couldn't finish his sentence because he sees others with Astral that he doesn't recognize.
Astral: "Double, what happened?"
Astral turns away, with tears in his eyes. Corrupt walks over and moves away a little bit so Astral won't hear what he will say to Yuma and the others.
Corrupt: "Dark Mist… is dead."
Yuma and the others gasped at what they heard, they couldn't believe that it was true.
Astral: "Are you sure Number 96 is dead?"
Corrupt: "Unfortunately, yes. But I have a plan I think that will calm Astral down, it might even make him happy again."
Yuma: "What is it?"
Corrupt: "You'll see, I know I shouldn't do this, but I will anyway. Yuma, I would like you and your friends to come to Valkyrian."
(A/N: Corrupt is not allow to take or let in out sider into Valkyrian without the Pharaoh's permission. He could get into some serious trouble for that)
Yuma: "Sure, but not everyone's here."
Corrupt walks over to True self and the others, he shacks Astral softly to get his attention.
Corrupt: "Astral, Astral. Astral, will you please look at me."
Astral looks up at Corrupt with tear filled eyes.
Astral: "What do you want Corrupt?"
Corrupt: "Is it ok if we take Yuma and his friends home with us?"
Astral: "I don't care, all I want is Dark Mist."
Corrupt: "I'll take that as a yes. It's a go Yuma."
Yuma: "Hey Astral, it's going to be ok. We'll be here for you, you will never be alone." (said as he puts his hand on Astral's shoulder)
Astral remains silent, he didn't want to talk to anyone, not even Yuma.
Corrupt: "We should get going."
Yuma: "Right."
Corrupt: "We'll take the airship to get the others, and then it's off to Valkyrian."
Astral walks over and picks up his dead love, still thinking about his final words.
*Flash black*
Dark Mist: "I will always love you. Good bye, my love."
*End of flash back*
Corrupt summons the airship and everyone boards for the trip to go get the rest of Yuma's friends. The words "My Love" kept running though Astral's mind. He wondered if he really should commit suicide just to be reunited with Dark Mist. It's a thought Astral was seriously considering. His heart ached, his heart yearned for Dark Mist's love again.
Astral (thinking): "Should I, should I take my own life? Dark Mist, I miss you so much it hurts. I miss you Dark Mist, and I will be with you again soon. I promise you, my love."
(A/N: Now readers, think about the bolded words carefully. This is somewhat of a hint as to what Astral wants to do to himself)
Corrupt (thinking): "I can't believe this happened to Astral five mouths before the wedding. I can only imagine how he feels."
Yuma gets up to talk to the two Dark Mists who are talking silently to each other.
Yuma: "Sorry to interrupt, but how do you guys know Astral and Number 96 so well?"
Dark side: "We all lived in the same key as roommates at one point."
Yuma: "Did you guys ever fight?"
True self: "The only time we ever fought against each other was in a duel. We also loved to play hide and go seek tag, Astral was the best. When Astral hid somewhere, he made sure you weren't gonna find him. But when he was found, you couldn't catch him. All of us tried, but none of us could catch him. He can catch us, but we can't catch him. He's the champion of hide and go seek in the key."
Astral knew what he was trying do, but it wasn't helping. It only reminded him of what he had lost. Tori was listening in and couldn't help but talk as well.
Tori: "Please tell me when you guys dueled each other they were on friendly terms?"
Corrupt: "Of course Tori. We all see each other as friends, we even think of each other as family."
Tori: "I see."
Yuma: "So what do they call you two?"
Dark side: "I'm known as the dark side of 96."
True self: "And they call me true self."
Yuma: "Why's that?"
True self: "My personality is similar to the Dark Mist you know, but the one thing that separates us from each other is I know right form wrong. He knows the difference, he just doesn't care."
(A/N: That last sentence was a reflection of a Dragon Ball Z movie. Now for those of you how have seen Dragon Ball Z: Tree of Might, you should know the conversation between Goku and Turler about Gohan. But for those of you how haven't, here's the conversation
Turles: "Kakarot you raised this Saiyan to much like an Earthling!"
Goku: "I raised him to know the difference between good and evil, unlike some people!"
Tulers: "I know the difference I just don't care."
