Chap 25 - Introducing "my family" to Reefside

The Oliver House

Tommy was the first to open his eyes the next morning as he awoken from his slumber next to the warm body of his partner, even though he sees Kim as much more but her being herr in his bed with him is already a big step taken between them and he haven't even asked her to be his girlfriend yet but that will change soon

Kim started to wake up and as she did so her body immediately felt the warmth of another body laying behind her so she stretched her body out as she turned over to lay on her back

" Good Morning Beautiful."

" Good Morning to you too Handsome."

" How did you sleep."

" Wonderful, and should I even ask how well did you sleep."

Tommy response was to lean down and kiss her on the lips

" EEWWW Tommy, I have a case of bad morning breath." Kim complained as she moved her head back and quickly covered her mouth with her hand

Tommy did a quick breath check.." So do I but, it all can be taken care of soon." Tommy exclaimed as he rolled out of bed and headed into his bathroom

Kim sighed happily as she closed her eyes..' I'm finally back in his arms and to think that I was trying to avoid this from the get go' Kim thought to herself as she sat up in the bed and glanced around the sunlit room then she glanced over at the clock seeing the time on the clock.." I'm surprised they are still asleep."

Tommy came out of the bathroom wiping his mouth with rag.." The peace won't last long, so let's get breakfast started."

" Okay, give me five minutes to get myself freshened up and I'll meet you downstairs." Kim insisted as she got out of the bed

Tommy nodded his head as she came towards him almost sidestepping him but he caught her hand and swiftly gave her another kiss on the lips before she could resist and then he hurried out of the bedroom before she could offer any type of protest

Kim just smiled as she hurried into the bathroom " My Falcon."

Tommy peeped into the room the twins were sleeping in only to see just one of them wide awake.." Good Morning Bud." Tommy whispered quietly as he carefully removed Demetrius out of the bed and over to the changing pad and with an quick and quiet approach Tommy had Demetrius changed in under four minutes flat.." Alright bud let's head on downstairs and get breakfast started on for Mommy."

Demetrius placed his head into the crook of Tommy's neck and shoulder as Tommy headed off of the steps and made a beeline for the Kitchen

Meanwhile upstairs Kim has found her robe and slipped it on once she came out of the bathroom feeling much more refreshed so she headed towards the room to check on the twins only to discover that Demetrius was up and gone so she walked over to the crib catching Desiree stretching out her body and opening up her eyes

" Good Morning Princess Desiree, how are you feeling this morning." Kim quietly cooed to her as she picked her up and went over to the changing table and started to change her into a clean diaper

Tommy had gotten the coffee pot going, the griddle pan sizzling up some turkey bacon and while all of that was going he also microwaved a few packets of Cream of wheat hot cereal when he heard the pair of feet cross over the top of his head from the second floor.." Here comes Mama."

Demetrius looked around the kitchen looking for Kimberly.." Ma Ma Ma Maaaa.

" Here I am Dem and look at who I brought downstairs with me your sister." Kim said as she situated Desiree into the high chair next to her brother." Tommy do you need any help with anything?"

" Can you get three eggs out of the fridge, two glasses out of the cabinet over the sink and the carton of Tropicana Orange Juice out of the fridge for me."

" Sure thing Handsome." Kim said as gotten everything the items out of the fridge and placed them on the counter then she grabbed two glasses out of the cupboard and set them down on the counter top and filled them up and then placing the carton of orange juice back inside of the fridge

Tommy quickly prepared their breakfast and Kim had made some baby cereal for the twins to eat and poured some into two bowls and she also got them their baby spoons and then she stuck them in the bowl

Desiree and Demetrius smiled and kicked their legs against their chairs as their baby babbles took over the kitchen

" What a pair of babies you guys are early in the morning." Tommy implied as he set the plates on the table shortly followed by Kim who set the bowls on the table first then she hurried out of the kitchen and over to the spare diaper bag where she dug out two bibs and then she made her way back into the kitchen and quickly she snapped the bibs around the twins' neck.." And here is your baby cereal."

" I hope you have a mop on standby handsome."

" I do but they can't be that bad when they are eating, I mean don't they mostly use their hands."

Kim nodded her head yes.." But based on how well they decorated the kitchen floor and wall back at the cabin, I am just asking because I know they will bless this kitchen soon."

Tommy eyed the twins and they looked right back at him with a matching set of two teeth grins

a few minutes later

Kim was snorting and laughing at what has just expired and she threw her head back and only laughed loudly when Tommy glanced at her with baby oatmeal in his hair.." I'm so sorry for that, but at least nothing ended up on the floor."

" Just my hair, my shoulder and the table." Tommy stated as he grabbed the roll of paper towels off of the counter and teared one off and quickly took hold of the blob of baby mush off his shoulder as well as his hair all the while he glanced at the twins

" da da da da da da." Desiree and Demetrius chorused at him

" Real cute you two." Tommy stated softly as he realized that the life he wanted which might result in his own biological child possibly doing the same thing to him or slightly even more untamed than just a glob of baby food in his hair, he would gladly welcome all of what the two little babies had in store for him and Kim for now and when the two of them cross that line of adding to what he already considered his family so soon after just founding out all of this literally

" Hey Handsome where did you just go?" Kim asked as she looked at him

" Just thinking." Tommy answered as he took her hand in his.." All of us and what the future holds for us as a family, but there is no rushing into anything right this moment

" I totally understand Tommy, especially since that heifer is still out there." Kim added

" So why don't we put that back on the backburner and let me take you all out and see the sights of Reefside."

" I love that idea Tommy." Kim exclaimed excitedly as she turned to the twins.." So you two how about we hang out, eat some food here and there and just enjoy this day my little pumpkins" Desiree and Demetrius babbled happily as they clapped their hands

" Well let's get to it then."

An hour later

Tommy and Kim was inside his truck and the babies was in the back cooing to one another as the truck made its way down the pathway and out onto the road heading the place that Tommy works

REEFSIDE HIGH

Elisa Randall-Mercer was overseeing the reconstruction to the windows when she noticed a familiar truck parking into a well known parking spot so she made her way through the hallway heading down to the front of the school

Tommy and Kim stepped out of the truck and closed the doors to the front then they opened the back doors up " I really can't believe that you have become an high school teacher Tommy."

" I still get that comment quite often but I guess I wanted an challenge and this past year has been one." Tommy applied as he removed Desiree from her seat

" Where have all of your former students gone." Kim questioned as she held onto Demetrius while Tommy slipped two bottles into his cargo pants pocket then he locked the door

" Ethan went to Reefside Tech, Conner is in college on a Soccer scholarship, and Trent went to New York on an Art Scholarship but he will attend in the Spring Semester."

Kim glanced at him in knowing way

" Those three have came a long way."

" With you helping them, they had a nice way of learning the ropes."

" Only to a degree but I mainly let Conner take the leadership role when he grasped the full way of how to use his powers."

Kim smiled genuinely and nodded in agreement as they entered the building

" Kira moved to New York in order to get a chance to receive an recording contract."

" Whenever they come back I hope to meet them."

" You will get the chance to meet them Kim."

" Tommy Oliver." A familiar voice called out him

Kim glanced behind him to see a female in khaki pants and a blue blouse coming towards them then she looked at Tommy and mouthed 'who is that'

" Elisa Randall, getting a head start on the upcoming new year improvements."

" Yes I am, and whom do we have here Tommy." Elisa asked as she glazed her eyes over the women and two babies..
