Chapter 25-

Professor McGonagall had walked in. Lars was seen on the floor, James was totally beat up. James looked weaker than ever before. There was Professor Gerity, wand at hand. Gerity went to lower his wand, but was quickly disarmed. Gerity looked right into McGonagall's eyes.

"Professor," Gerity said, he had the serious tone still, which he kept. "You know I'm doing my job!" Gerity showed McGonagall his hand. "I once had this you see," Gerity was very cut and beat up. Probably from years ago.

"You never," McGonagall said. "Never attack students like that," McGonagall grabbed Lars, and James. "You will be reported to the Headmaster, and to the Minister of Magic." McGonagall went to walk away. "But," McGonagall said. "We will have a cell in Azkaban for you," McGonagall smiled, as she walked away.

The rest of that night went so slow. James and Lars went to bed, and woke up the next morning, feeling very weird. The following day was February first, the 5th game of Quittich, the last game for Gryffindor, another chance to clinch. As Lars got out of bed, he saw James, starting to recover. Lars let him rest, as he went to the Great Hall.

Lars walked in, and got hugs from all his friends. Lars had noticed that the Defense Against the Dark Arts chair was empty, and Professor Dumbledore got up to talk to everyone.

"Attention," Dumbledore said. "You have all been notified that we will be getting a new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher." Dumbledore looked at McGonagall. "The new Professor will be here in the next two weeks," Dumbledore looked at all the students. "Professor Gerity has been placed in Azkaban, and we will all enjoy our new teacher." Dumbledore got a huge round of applause, as the rest of the Quittich team for Gryffindor got up, and headed to the pitch. The last chance for Gryffindor to come out on top. Lars knew it had to be.
