~Raph and Bumblebee's GF

Recovery

The next morning, I wake up and weakly yawn. "Who did that," I ask very weakly. "Why do it to me?" When I close my eyes, an image appears and growls, mixed with whimpers, sound.

"Don't waste your breath," a female's voice sneers, a sharp pain enters my body. "It's no use."

A hand rests on my shoulder, startling me and making me jump while my eyes open. "It's just me, honey," Raph says calmingly, "I didn't mean to scare you, and I just wanted to make sure you're OK." His eyes are sincere, looking into my blue ones.

"I know," I say, licking his hand the best I can, "I just had a bad feeling, that's all."

Don comes to my side, his eyes holding shock. "What 'bad feeling?''

I explain everything that happened, Leo and Mikey walking in.

"What happened," Mikey asks, making me roll my eyes.

"I'm NOT repeating myself," I snap, standing and seeing bandages wrapped around my leg and side, having me lie down again. "I never liked to and I'm not going to start now."

"How are you holding up," Leo asks, standing by my side.

"Pretty good," I reply, wincing in pain as Raph rests his hand on my flank. "I'm just in pain, that's all. And weak, but I'm sure I'll be up and around in no time."

Raph grabs a chair and brings it to my side. "Can Faith go to a comfortable bed now, Don?"
"She can," Don answers, nodding his head, "just be careful."

Raph wraps his arms around me and carefully picks me up, carrying me to his room. "You're going to sleep in here until you're better." Gently and carefully sitting down, he holds me in his lap. In almost no time at all, I calm down from worrying about the pain and the pain seems to vanish completely.

"I already slept in here, remember," I ask, smiling and wagging my tail. "I love you for being protective of everyone, but especially being caring."

"I love everything about you," Raph replies, kissing my head while I turn into a human: my hair in a braid and a red t-shirt with white buttons down the front, with blue shorts and red socks, my ocean-blue eyes shining. "I'll always protect you, Faith, and you know that." He gently wraps his arm around my waist, gently and carefully pulling me closer, his lips crashing onto mine.

I kiss back; closing my eyes and feeling him help me wrap my arms around his neck before placing his back around my waist. I don't want to end this moment, I think to myself, enjoying every moment. Soon, I have to break the kiss as pain rages throughout my body.

"Are you alright, honey," Raph asks, worry in his voice. "Do you want me to get Donnie?"

I shake my head and wince, trying to get through the pain. "I just need rest, that's all. I don't need Don; he helped as much as he could."

Raph nods his head and looks to me, soothingly rubbing my back carefully. "OK, honey. Just let me know if you need anything, alright?"

I nod and smile, kissing his nose. "I will." I rest my head on his shoulder and smile wider. "I think I need a kiss." A pout crosses my face playfully and Raph smiles, leaning toward me and planting his lips on mine.

"How was that," Raph asks after a few minutes, smiling and holding me close to him gently.

"The best," I answer, dipping my head. I rest my head on his shoulder and close my eyes, feeling sleep start gripping me with its cold grip.

When I wake up again, the pain and scars are gone and Raph's sleeping right by my side. I sneak out and go to the kitchen, my stomach starting to hurt worse and worse. "Now for a little breakfast, Faith; the stomach wants what it wants." As I grab a plate, I hear footsteps trudge in.
