Well, Sidekicks is still coming. But right now, I'm finishing Rejects, and I ain't rushing it. But now, I've come up with the new plot with the re-booted Sidekicks story, coming to a new story.
So, space is not in this one. But, a lot of elements will be in it.
After defeating the new Evil Syndicate, the heroes get abducted by Invader Tak, who steals their weapons, while trapping them inside a virtual world, where they all must work together to find a way out of it.
...Though this isn't the main plot though. It's a small side-story. In the real story, feeling unappreciated, Carl and Sheen vow to save Jimmy and his friends after getting a distress call, in order to prove they're more than just sidekicks. Together, they come up with their own team to save the group (Skoodge, Tenn, GIR, and Clyde).
However, Cindy gets rejected by Carl and Sheen, and vows to build her own team, with Libby and the remaining sidekicks (Frida, ALL OF THE LOUD SISTERS AND YES, THE KIDS INCLUDED, Sam, Jazz, Tuck, Melody, and others...).
Despite having the skills, both teams completely lack everything that made the main heroes a good team. Carl and Sheen must fight through obstacles without the proper skills, and Cindy has to deal with the stress of managing a team, while dealing with a rival she hates, Chloe Carmichael.
For this one, I'm going to give one more try at what couldve worked about the original SKs. Space was just too much for these characters, so I'm keeping it simple, and focusing back on laughs. Also, the heart will be these characters. No DUMB OCs, no Star Wars parodies (though a Matrix parody could happen), just these characters. That, and even if I haven't figured out the plot yet, elements of Attack of the Toybots will be in it.
This will happen...probably after 3.5 or 4, which is sometime next year.
