Disclaimer: Bleach belongs to Tite Kubo.
This is a sequel to my 'Dark Horse' song-fic (last chapter). Because I'm a crazy fangirl who loves Ichihime weddings. The song is 'Long Live' by Taylor Swift.
Enjoy!

"I said remember this moment, in the back of my mind."
.
.
The doors opened. And there he was. His brilliant orange hair, his tall, impressive figure, his handsome features and his molten chocolate gaze that pierced through to my soul. I prayed I wouldn't trip over the hem of my white dress as I walked down the aisle to the music, closing the distance between us.
.
.
"The time we stood with our shaking hands."
.
.
My hand was in his and I knew without looking that we were both really nervous. But it was a good kind of nervous. We'd waited so long for this moment to arrive and finally, here it was.
.
.
"The crowds in the stands went wild."
.
.
With the number of people we knew, it was impossible not to have a huge wedding. But I liked it this way. I'd never had a big family. Seeing all these people here for me, to be a part of my happiness meant more than words can describe. And yes, Onii-chan wasn't here but every person present made me miss him a little less.
.
.
"We were the Kings and the Queens."
.
.
It used to amaze me how much I knew about him – his favorite color, what each of his scowls meant, how his rare smile totally changed his face. But all of this paled in comparison to what I learnt from him. He told me about his childhood, about the quirky habits of his family that he pretended to dislike and about the pain of losing his Mom. And he let me see his tears. He told me about his hollow, the way it felt to have someone in your head, taunting you and calling you 'King'. He said his hollow called me 'Queen', but to him, I was his Princess.
I was his Hime.
.
.
"And they read off our names."
.
.
'Do you, Kurosaki Ichigo, take Inoue Orihime to be your lawfully wedded wife?'
'I do.'
'Do you, Inoue Orihime, take Kurosaki Ichigo to be your lawfully wedded husband?'
'I do.'
'I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride.'
His lips met mine and it was magic.
.
.
"The night you danced like you knew our lives would never be the same."
.
.
One of his hands found my waist while the other held mine. I gave him a conspiratorial smile and he smirked right back at me. All our friends had teased him for months about being a horrible dancer. The cheering crowd was in for a surprise. We moved to the music and jaws fell. I tried to hold back my giggles and he grinned widely.
.
.
"You held your head like a hero, on a history book page."
.
.
He looked smug. Very much so. I asked him what made him so satisfied but he wouldn't say. He just put his arm around me as one after another, our friends made toasts to us.
Isshin-san stood up and Ichigo-kun froze.
'Ichigo, Orihime, Congratulations. I wish you both great happiness.'
A genuine, soft smile appeared on his face and father and son shared a rare, fond moment.
.
.
"It was the end of a decade but the start of an age."
.
.
We were fifteen when we met and we were twenty-five now. Ten years had gone by and I loved that he had been a part of my life for so long. I felt a familiar burst of joy as I reveled in the fact that we would spend our lifetimes together.
.
.
"Long live the walls we crashed through
All the kingdom lights shined just for me and you
I was screaming long live all the magic we made
And bring on all the pretenders
We will be remembered."
.
.
Things wouldn't be perfect. We'd had plenty of ups and downs and we would continue to have them. There would be fights. There would be sorrows. There would be new enemies. But at the same time, there would be happiness, victories and love. Besides, life wasn't about being perfect. The time we would spend together meant so much more.
