"Stuck in Sakkakumon With You"

Standing below the strange digimon in the sky, the humans watched in worry as they waited for any sign of Takuya or Koji and prayed that they would escape safely soon enough.

A shadow then appeared in one of the orbs on Sakkakumon's body which made Bokomon stare at it curiously.

"I believe I just saw Koji up there." Bokomon said.

"I believe in Santa Claus, but I know I saw Koji." Neemon grinned as Bokomon frowned in annoyance.

"Who doesn't believe in Santa Claus?" Daisuke asked.

"Yeah, he's real, isn't he?" Tommy asked.

JP opened his mouth to speak, but yelped in pain when Zoe elbowed him in the side with a fierce look to keep quiet and not ruin the two childrens' innocence.

"Of course he does!" The blonde smiled.

"Yep, he sure does. Ow." JP whimpered.

Bokomon shook his head at them while the two youngest Warriors shared a look before they then shrugged and looked back up at the spheres above them.

"I really miss Koji and Takuya." Daisuke said softly with a sad look.

Zoe looked at the sad girl and decided to do something to turn her attitude around since she was tired of waiting around and hoping for the others to arrive.

"Let's get up there." Zoe said looking at JP.

"Mm-hm." He nodded in agreement.

"I'm ready." Tommy said.

"Right!" Daisuke nodded.

Pulling out their D-tectors, the four Warriors then began their transformation sequence.

"Execute: Spirit Evolution!"

"KAZEMON!"

"BEETLEMON!"

"KUMAMON!"

"BELLEMON!"

"You can do it!" Bokomon and Neemon cheered.

Bellemon grabbed Kumamon and flew up with him in her arms while Beetlemon and Kazemon flew up ahead of them.

"Hang in there, Koji! We're coming!" Kazemon called.

"Brace yourself for impact!" Beetlemon cried.

They slammed into a barrier that was protecting the orb and knocked them all back as they were forced to transform back into their human forms as they landed on the ground.

Bokomon and Neemon rushed over to the four humans as they groaned in pain, pushing theirselves up from the ground.

"That sucked..." Daisuke groaned.

"Oh dear. I believe we need to rethink this." Bokomon said.

"I believe in flying Duskmon!" Neemon said with wide eyes.

Surprised, everyone turned their attention over to the cliff that Duskmon was standing on and they stared at him in shock.

"What now?" Zoe asked.

"No idea." JP groaned.

The Warrior of Darkness then charged at the Beast of Metal, fighting the barrier and broke through it easily much to everyone's shock.

"He made it in!" Tommy gasped.

"Unfortunately, Taky and Koji don't know that. We gotta warn them!" JP said.

"No kidding, but how are we supposed to do that? It's not like we can just pick up a phone and call them." Tommy said.

"I wonder…maybe we can." Zoe said as she looked down at her D-tector with a thoughtful expression.

"Maybe there's a way to use the D-Tector to contact them." She suggested.

Everyone watched as the blonde continued pushing buttons on her D-Tector, a look of worry on her face as she hoped that the device would work.

"Takuya, can you hear me?" Zoe called out hopefully.

"I can't believe it! Zoe, is that you?" Takuya's voice rang out from her D-tector as the symbol of Flame appeared on the screen.

"No way! I mean yeah. 10/4, copy that, loud and clear good buddy!" Zoe exclaimed with a smile.

"Wow." JP said as he and the others crowded around the blonde as Takuya laughed.

"Where'd ya learn to talk like that? Wait, never mind. Where are you? Are you alone too?" Takuya asked.

"I'm outside with JP, Tommy, Daisuke, Bokomon and Neemon. But listen, you're in danger Takuya. You're inside Sakkakumon." Zoe informed as she grew serious.

"Sakkaku-wha?" Takuya asked in confusion.

"Sakkakumon. Mercurymon Beast Spirit evolved into a hedious creature and you, young man, are deep inside it." Bokomon told him.

"That explains the smell." Takuya commented.

"This isn't funny. We've gotta get him out!" JP exclaimed.

"Sakkakumon is a multidementional being, so please stay alert. Portals to the outside sometimes appear once you've won a battle." Bokomon explained.

"Yeah, we all managed to escape, but now that we're outside, it seems like it's impossible to get back in there to help you and Koji." Tommy said.

"That's right. We tried to, back tehre like some kind of barrier that keeps us out." Daisuke spoke up.

"Man. Well, have you contacted Koji?" Takuya asked as he took all the information in.

"No, but we're about to." Zoe said.

As those words came out of her mouth, JP and Tommy both took out their D-tectors right away and started pushing buttons wildly while Daisuke went at a slower pace as she frowned down at the device, unsure which button would work.

"Koji, come in." Tommy said.

"Talk to me." JP said next.

"Hello, is anyone there?" Daisuke called.

Zoe smiled briefly at her friends before she gained a serious expression once again as she remembered the reason why they had tried contacting the guys in the first place.

"Duskmon just went inside. I think he's after Koji! Please, be careful." Zoe warned.

"Thanks!" Takuya said before he then hung up.

"I hope he finds Koji before Duskmon does." Daisuke said sadly.

Kneeling down beside the girl, Zoe pulled the four year old into a hug as they stared up at the orb where Koji was located.

"I'm sure they'll be fine." The Warrior of Wind assured.

She wanted to believe her, but Daisuke couldn't help but feel like something terrible was going to happen.

Standing around and simply hoping for the best wasn't going to help them and it was driving Daisuke mad as she constantly prayed for the safe return of their friends.

Just then, the orb flashed the images of Duskmon and Lobomon, who had both taken out their blades and were locked together as they tried to push the other Warrior back.

"Get him, Lobomon!" JP called.

"Take that creep apart!" Zoe cried.

"Alright, Z!" JP smiled.

Then, in the orb across from the Warriors of Darkness and Light, the images of Agunimon and an IceLeomon were shown.

"Come on, Agunimon, hang in there!" Tommy called.

"Come on, guys, you can do it." Daisuke whispered encouragingly as she stared up at the two flashing orbs.

"Oh, he's struggling." Bokomon commented.

"Which one? Agunimon or Lobomon? They're both fighting." Neemon said as he looked back at his friend.

"Neither of them. I'm actually reffering to Seraphimon's egg." Bokomon looked down in worry.

Crying out in surprise, everyone turned around quickly to see that the egg was moving inside of Bokomon's bellyband.

"Oh dear, I'm feeling feint." Bokomon said.

"What's going on? Why is it moving?" Daisuke asked in confusion as she stared at the struggling egg.

"I don't know." Bokomon cried.

He then started screaming, as if he were in pain, and everyone rushed to his side.

Zoe kneeled down on the ground and allowed him to use her lap as a pillow to give him some comfort as he continued to scream.

"Oh, it's coming, I feel it! My baby's coming! Somebody!" Bokomon cried.

"You're scaring me!" Neemon whimpered as he watched over his friend.

"Neemon, I'm the one having the baby!" Bokomon snapped as his face was covered in sweat.

"What are we suppsoed to do to help him?" JP asked as he looked lost.

"It's a first for me." Zoe said.

"Why's it happening now? I'm too young for this!" Tommy whined as he looked up at Sakkakumon.

"I don't even understand what's happening! What's wrong with the baby?" Daisuke asked as she looked frustraded and confused.

"Uh, well... The baby's gonna be born!" JP exclaimed, having no other way to explain it.

"Oh." Daisuke blinked at that.

As the words soaked into her mind, the girl began to panic along with everyone else.

"Why is it being born here and now?! It's not the best time!" She cried.

"Oh no! The light went out in Agunimon's area!" Zoe gasped when she looked up at Sakkakumon and saw the light inside the sphere go out.

"Bokomon, this really isn't a very good time." Neemon whimpered.

"It's not up to me! Instead of standing there like a lump of sap, maybe you can help!" Bokomon yelled.

"What are we suppsoed to do?! We don't know how to take care of babies!" Daisuke cried as she continued to panic.

Grabbing the girl, JP pulled her over and forced her to sit down.

"Calm down! We'll figure something out." He told her.

Just then, a voice seemed to echo on the winds and Seraphimon's egg reacted to it.

Everyone gasped in wonder as the egg gave off a babyblue glow and Bokomon stopped screaming in pain as he stared down at it in surprise.

Rising from its place in the bellyband, the egg levitated into the air.

"What's happening?" Zoe asked.

Staring in awe, everyone watched as Seraphimon's egg rose higher into the sky until it was facing the sphere where Koji was located.

Seraphimon's mark glowed gold on the front of the egg and it shot out a beam of light which pentraded the barrier around the sphere.

"Please be careful, baby." Bokomon whispered as he watched with tear filled eyes.

"What's going on?" Tommy asked.

"I think...Seraphimon is helping Koji." Daisuke blinked as she watched the gold light continue its path through the sphere.

An image of a newly transformed Digimon, one that bore a striking resemblance to Lobomon, appeared on the sphere which made everyone gasp in awe.

Zoe then exclaimed in Italian as she smiled bright at the sight as Seraphimon's egg stopped glowing.

"It's Koji!" JP smiled.

"His two Spirits have come together!" Tommy exclaimed.

"Awesome!" Daisuke giggled.

"He's pretty!" Neemon cheered.

"Actually, combined, they've become Beowolfmon." Bokomon spoke up.

"Hold up! Just how did you find out his name is Beowolfmon?" Neemon asked, displaying a serious side, as he turned back to look at Bokomon.

"That's a silly question! What else would you call him?" Bokomon snapped.

"MegaLobomon?" Daisuke suggested innocently.

Bokomon blanched at that as he stared at the girl while Neemon gained a smug expression as his friend had nothing else to say.

"Go get him, Beowolfmon!" Bokomon shouted instead.

"Um, where's the baby?" Neemon asked since the egg hadn't returned yet.

Just then, everyone heard an exploison and they stared at the sphere to see Duskmon and Beowolfmon being thrown out of Sakkakumon.

Instead of falling down in front of the group, the two Warriors' bodies seemed to be flying off across the Dark Continent, away from the others.

"Now where are they going?" Zoe asked as she watched their bodies.

"KOJI!" JP called after them.

Spent from using its power, Seraphimon's egg then started to fall down from the sky.

"My dear, sweet baby!" Bokomon cooed.

Neemon exclaimed softly as the egg floated towards him and landed in his paws safely making him smile.

"It came to me. Does that mean I'm his uncle now?" Neemon asked.

"Sora's Crest of Love"

After the revelation of Daisuke being one of the Legndary Warriors and Tai, Joe, Mimi, Palmon, Agumon and Gomamon promising not to tell everyone until the group was all together again, they left the castle.

The two boys were stuck paddling the swan boat while the girls and digimon were sitting on top of it as they stared out at the land where they would be meeting up with Matt, TK, Izzy, Gabumon, Patamon and Tentomon.

"Okay, we're here." Tai said as the boat was at the shore of the forest.

"Whew! I'm tired." Joe said as Tai got out and held his arms out to Mimi.

"Come on Mimi, get off your thrown." He teased while me and the digimon jumped down from the boat.

"Huh! I wouldn't exactly call this a thrown." Mimi said.

Rolling her eyes, Daisuke jumped off of the boat and landed beside the digimon.

"Yeah, well I wouldn't call you a princess." Tai joked.

"Mimi, just let him help you down. We've more important things to deal with." Daisuke told her.

"Yeah, like finding the others." Veemon said.

"Guys over here!" Matt's voice echoed.

Turning, the group found Matt was running over towards them along with Izzy, TK and their digimon.

"That was easier than I thought it would be." Veemon commented.

Everyone then rushed over to each other, greeting their friends excitedly.

TK, instead of jumping at Daisuke like he normally would, simply grasped her hands in his with a smile on his face.

"It's been so long since I've seen you. My, you've…shrunk." Palmon said to Tsunomon and Motimon.

"Don't rub it in!" The two In-Trainings said turning away in a huff while Motimon, the only one with hands, put them on his hips.

"So where's Sora?" Tai asked when he saw the orangette was missing.

"We thought you might know. We haven't seen her." Matt said.

"That's weird. It's not like her to disappear like that." Tai frowned.

"Well, actually I think I saw Sora." Mimi said suddenly making everyone look at her in surprise.

"So where did you see her?" Tai asked.

"At the Gekomon's castle, but I might have been dreaming." She told him.

"I think you're right. It must have been a dream." Joe said.

"Actually, I forgot that when I was just about to eat one of those Mushrooms of Forgetfulness, I heard a voice that sounded a lot like Sora's." Agumon spoke up.

"That's real weird." Tai commented.

"No kidding. Just what is she up to?" Daisuke mused as she held her chin in thought.

"But then…if Sora is actually close to where we are, why doesn't she come out and tell us?" TK asked.

"Well, maybe Sora just doesn't want to. Even worse, maybe she just can't." Matt said, then his digivice went off.

"All I know is we gotta find her quick." He said.

Pulling out their digivices, everyone glanced down at them to find a red dot flashing on the screen which was located further off from where the group was standing.

"It's almost like we're playing tag with her." Tai said.

"Yeah, well, I hate to break the news to her, but this game is over." Daisuke narrowed her eyes as they flashed gold in annoyance.

This team was being put back together again even if she had to drag Sora back kicking and screaming.

Divided they were weak and an easy target for whatever new evil that was out there, but united they were strong.

"Come on, the signal points this way." Izzy said as everyone started walking off, following the signal into the woods.

Soon enough, hours had gone by since the search had started and the sun was beginning to lower in the sky.

"Oh, why don't we find a spot to rest for the night? Or better yet, the next couple of weeks? My feet are killing me, not to mention every other part of my body." Joe whined as Mimi stopped walking and fell to her knees, worn out.

"I can't go another inch." She said.

"Hold it. I'm getting a reading on my digivice." Matt said.

"Really? Well, what is it?" TK asked.

"What's that buzzing?" Patamon asked.

"I wonder if it's Sora." TK said.

"What's that sound?" the child of Courage asked now that it was getting louder.

A large wasp like digimon then appeared and swooped down at the group, but they ducked down to avoid being hurt by the creature.

"Flymon's here!" Agumon cried.

Flymon then started shooting his stingers at the humans and digimon who all started jumping out of the way to not get hit by them.

"Maybe this digimon analyzer that Gennai gave me can help us out. Here he is. Flymon." Izzy said as he pulled out his lap top and the image of the bug with its stats came up.

"Classified as an insect digimon. A Virus type and I think we already know what its attack is and it's not very pleasant. And here he comes now!" the child of Knowledge cried as Flymon swooped down to attack the group once again.

As the stingers were shot at the group, everyone ran off as Stingmon then closed in on Tai and Matt.

"Careful Tai!" Agumon cried.

"Look out Matt!" Tsunomon yelled.

"Tsunomon digivolve too...GABUMON!"

The two Rookies then jumped over to their humans to protect them which made the two boys smile at them.

"Agumon." Tai said smiling.

"Gabumon!" Matt grinned.

The two digimon fired off their attacks, but missed as Flymon flew out of the way.

"It's just not working. They need more help." Motimon said.

Gomamon used his Marching Fishes, but they missed, then Palmon tried to grab him with her Poison Ivy to hold the bug still, missing him as he fired off his stingers at her and Mimi.

Veemon then jumped up into the air swinging his arms around and managed to land a hit on Flymon, but then the insect slapped the dragon down to the ground where Daisuke was.

Flymon was about to attack again, but there Birdramon flew in overhead and hit him head on with her Meteor Wing.

"It's Birdramon!" Motimon cried.

"If Birdramon's here, then so is Sora." Tai said as they watched the Champion fly off.

"Sora!" Tai cried as he ran off after Birdramon.

Daisuke was quick to follow while Veemon, Matt, TK, Patamon and Gabumon rushed after the girl.

"Hold on, goggle head!" Daisuke called.

"Daisuke, don't leave without me!" Veemon called after her.

"Wait up, Tai!" Agumon cried.

"We're coming!" Gabumon said.

"I'm going with you!" TK called.

"TK, wait up!" Patamon cried after his human.

Sora was then seen making her way across a river, using the rocks as stepping stones as she jumped on them to get to the other side of the water.

Before she could continue her path, Tai and Daisuke surprised her by jumping in front of the girl.

"Sora, it's you." Tai panted.

She turned to make a run for it, but was stopped by Matt and TK who were running up behind her.

"So why were you running away?" the child of Friendship asked.

"Enough running. Tell us what's going on." Tai said as Sora looked away from everyone with a frustrated and sad look.

"Sora?" Matt questioned.

"Sora, does this mean that…you don't like us anymore?" TK asked.

"No of course not." Sora shook her head.

"Then what's wrong?" the child of Hope asked.

A few seconds passed before Biyomon flew over and landed next to her partner.

"Sora, why don't you tell them?" the pink bird asked.

"Tell us what? What is going on?" Daisuke demanded.

"Okay. It happened the night that Biyomon and I left camp to find Tai. We made camp and they went to sleep while we went for a walk to try and clear my head. I saw a strange digimon. He looked like a bowling ball with wings and he was talking to something in a giant bubble." She explained.

"Could you hear what he was saying?" TK asked.

"Yeah, I heard him talking about our Crests." Sora said.

"What about them?" Tai asked.

"He was saying that each of our Crests has its own special meaning. For example, Tai, yours is the Crest of Courage." She told him.

"The Crest of Courage?" Tai repeated.

Thinking back to how he had to face his fear in the pyramid, he remembered how he had decided to face what laid ahead of him as he walked through the electric wall.

"Oh! That's right. And then the Crest started to glow." Tai gasped.

"And the Crest you have, Matt is the Crest of Friendship." Sora said looking over to him.

"Friendship." Matt said thoughtfully as he held his Crest.

"And mine?" TK asked.

"Yours is special, TK. It's the Crest of Hope." Sora said.

"All right. I hope we can get back home." He said to his partner.

"And Daisuke, your Crest is very special too. It's the Crest of Miracles. It's connected to all of ours. That's why it made all of ours glow together when Greymon digivolved." Sora told her.

Blinking at that in surprise, Daisuke touched her Crest as she thought back to the time when it appeared from her DB-Tector.

Her Crest had been hiding with her Spirits of Miracles, but hadn't revealed itself until everyone else had already found their own Crests.

"Okay, that I didn't know." Daisuke commented.

"Izzy's crest is the Crest of Knowledge. Joe's is the Crest of Reliability. And Mimi's is the Crest of Sincerity. And finally mine…mine is the Crest of Love." Sora finished off staring down at her own red Crest with a depressed look.

"Wow, the Crest of Love. That's just perfect for you, Sora." Tai smiled at her encouragingly.

His words made the girl tense up as she turned to him with red eyes blazing in anger.

"No it's not! You're wrong! Don't even say that, Tai! It's not like me at all!" She yelled.

This stunned everyone as they stared at the orangette in confusion.

"But Sora, it is like you. You're always thinking of everyone else." Tai told her.

"No way! I don't care what happens to everyone else. The truth is, you don't know the first thing about me. So back off!" She yelled.

After her rant, she seemed to figure out what she had just said and gasped in horror before she looked down ashamed.

"I'm sorry, Tai." She apologized.

"Sora, what's the matter?" Tai asked her looking conserned.

"It's just that my Crest…it won't glow! It's because I don't have any Love." She revealed.

Her responce seemed to further shock everyone as they stared at her, curious as to why she thought this way.

It just didn't seem like the Sora they all knew.

"You love us, don't you, Sora?" TK asked.

"I don't get it. Why is it that girls always have to get so emotional when it comes to love?" Tai asked.

"Leave her alone, Tai." Matt told him.

"I was just joking around." Tai said.

"The digimon thought I was funny too." Sora said.

"What digimon?" Daisuke asked.

"That bowling ball I told you about. He thought it was funny that all of us thought we were 'hot stuff'. And then he started taunting me about how I would never get my Crest to glow." Sora explained.

Daisuke went silent as she thought long and hard about everyone that Sora had told them.

"That's it? I thought it was something serious, like they were gonna stop making those stuffed bean bag animals. Besides, DemiDevimon is a liar." Tai said.

"It's true. It started back when I was on a girls' soccer team. My family owned a flower shop. It was my mom's whole life. One day I hurt my knee really badly and my mom wouldn't let me go to the match. She then started talking to me about quitting soccer to take over the shop. I got upset about it and yelled at her before I then ran off. I walked around for hours. I found myself at the soccer field. The game had just finished." Sora said.

"What happened?" Tai asked.

"We lost the game 6/3. My teammates were so depressed, that they didn't even notice when they walked by me. I felt like I had let them all down. Like it was all my fault. My mom said I had to be part of the family business. No questions. That's how she is. It's like it's the only thing that's important to her. She doesn't understand. That's why I know he wasn't lying when I grew up not knowing what love is." Sora said as she stood up, yelling and about to throw her Crest away, but Tai rushed over and grabbed her hand.

"Sora, stop it!" He told her.

"Let go!" She yelled.

"Even if what you said is true, you shouldn't believe a word from that loser DemiDevimon. He's just a creep who's trying to hurt you." Tai said as Sora then burst into tears, shocking everyone.

"Wait, wait! Don't cry, Sora. Matt, help me out. I don't know what to do with her when she starts blubbering." Tai begged.

"Just let her go, Tai. She'll be okay." Matt said looking away with his arms crossed.

"Boy, Matt's like a real grown up." Agumon commented.

"Now, if only he would cut his hair." Gabumon joked.

"Sora, I forgot to thank you." TK said softly making her stop and look at him in surprise.

"You told us not to eat the mushrooms, didn't you? I wanna thank you for saving us." He said.

"Right, TK. We thought DemiDevimon was up to no good, so we kept out of sight and made sure you guys stayed out of trouble. We were even there when you guys were working in the restaurant, Matt." Biyomon said.

"Huh? I had no idea." Matt said in surprise.

"You didn't have to hide from us. We were all worried." Tai told her.

"Sora just needed to be alone for a little while. But she really didn't want to be separated from you guys, please understand." Biyomon said.

"Sora, I like you." TK spoke up.

"Huh?" She asked looking at him.

"So please, don't go away again. I don't like being away from you. When you're round, I don't miss my mom as much." He giggled.

"TK...I'm so sorry." Sora apologized.

"You don't seem to understand just how important your Crest is, Sora." Daisuke spoke up.

Stunned, Sora turned her attention down to the girl who was smiling up at the older Digidestined.

"Love is very important. It's connected to so many things. Without courage, you'll never be brave enough to find love and face the unknown." Daisuke began.

This made Tai blink in surprise while Veemon smiled.

"Without friendship, love can't be created." Daisuke continued.

Matt was also surprised by this as he stared down at his Crest.

"Without knowledge, one does not understand that a broken heart can love again. Without sincerity, love has no depth. Without reliability, love can't grow. Without hope, love has no limmits." Daisuke said.

Once his Crest was spoken, TK smiled brightly.

"Without light, love can't shine it's way through the darkest of times." Daisuke smiled as she thought of her old friends.

"And without miracles, we can't create more love to fill the void and replace the hate. So, as you can see, the Crest of Love is the most important of all the Crests." Daisuke concluded.

Everyone was left in awe as they stared down at the girl who was smiling serenely and her Crest seemed to be lightly glowing in responce to her words.

Veemon was smiling proudly at the words his human had spoken and felt a bit smug at the fact that his partner was the real mature one.

Clutching her own Crest tightly, Sora felt her eyes fill with tears once again at the beautiful words that had come from the eight year old girl in front of her.

Daisuke would never fail to amaze people.

"Hey!" Joe's voice cut through the stunned silence.

"Hey, what took ya guys so long?" Tai asked.

"Well, we would've been here sooner, but Joe fell in the river." Mimi smiled.

"Hey, Mimi, you're the one who was hungry and tired and had to sit down every five minutes." Joe said.

Shaking her head in amusement at the group around her, Daisuke gave a smile as she felt relieved that all of her friends were finally together.

Sora was still staring after Daisuke, her words echoing through her mind.

(That night...)

After the group had found a clearing to set up camp in, they laid down on the ground and curled up beside their partners as they allowed themselves to drift off to sleep.

While everyone was sleeping, DemiDevimon snuck over to the group with a large needle in his claw.

Smirking, he made his way over to Sora and Biyomon slowly started to wake up when she sensed something was off.

Opening her eyes, Biyomon gasped when she saw DemiDevimon throwing the needle towards Sora.

"Sora, watch out!" Biyomon yelled as she shielded her partner's body with her own and was hit with the needle.

Everyone was woken up and they shot up from the ground, staring at the sight before them in shock.

"Biyomon!" Sora cried in worry.

"No, Biyomon! Please wake up! BIYOMON!" Sora cried as she pulled the needle out.

"Sora, I will protect you." The pink bird said weakly.

"Sora, what's wrong?" Tai asked as he and the others woke up.

"Oh! DemiDevimon!" TK gasped.

"Not that freak again!" Daisuke gritted her teeth.

DemiDevimon flew back with a grimace as the sky got dark, the only light coming from the fire that was still burning.

When the dark clouds moved away, they revealed a carriage in the sky being pulled by Devidramon, a demonic dragon with black scales and four glowing red eyes.

"Hey, what is that?" Tai asked as the snarling monster got closer.

Everyone cried out as a coffin that was black with gold decorating it fell out of the carriage as Devidramon flew off.

The coffin opened up and a man wrapped up in a cape was floating down towards the Digidestineds.

"Digidestinds. Your journey ends here." He laughed darkly.

"That's it! That's the thing DemiDevimon was talking too." Sora cried.

"He's not a thing. He's Lord Myotismon." Demidevimon announced.

"Myotismon?" Tai asked.

"That's Lord Myotismon!" DemiDevimon yelled as the vampire laughed.

"These Digidestinds are making me feel a little…batty." Myotismon said before he pulled his cape out, a swarm of bats coming after the group called Grizzly Wing.

"Come on, guys. Let's go!" Agumon said as he led the digimon out to fight.

He and Gabumon fired off their attacks as Motimon digivolved into Tentomon and used his Super shocker while Patamon used his Boom Bubble, the bats getting burned to a crisp, electrocuted or blown away.

"They're still coming after us!" Mimi gasped.

The human children cried out as some of the bats got through the wall of fire that the fire breathing digimon made and flapped around their heads.

"Mimi!" Palmon cried out.

"Palmon digivolve too…TOGEMON!"

"Let me try to get my point across." Togemon said as she rushed at the bats and then used her Needle Spray, taking out most of them.

"Way to go!" Gomamon cheered.

"Out turn now!" Veemon grinned.

"Gomamon digivolve too…IKKAKUMON!"

"Veemon digivolve too...VEEDRAMON!"

Ikkakumon and Veedramon combined their two attacks, Harpoon Torpedo and V Nova Blast, both hitting Myotismon and creating a wall of smoke which hid the vampire from sight.

"Wow, way to go!" Joe cheered.

Myotismon then flew through the smoke, completely unharmed which caused everyone to gasp in shock.

"Can't defeat me that easily." He taunted as he used his Crimson Lightning, a whip made from red light and hit Togemon with it, hurting her.

He laughed like a maniac as he hit Ikkakumon and Veedramon with a second whip, then flew down and used both whips to hit the rest of the digimon.

"Veedramon!" Daisuke called as she raced over to her downed dragon who was groaning in pain.

"Tai, he's just too strong for us." Agumon said.

"Now what?" Tai asked.

"I've gotta do something to help them." Biyomon said weakly making Sora look down at her in shock.

Myotismon was stalking forward, making his way towards the weak digimon, intent on destroying the Digidestineds with ease.

"I'm the only one left to fight Myotismon." Biyomon said.

"It's no use! You can't do anything in your condition." Sora told her.

"Please understand, Sora. I have to go." Biyomon said as she tried to go, but the orange haired girl wrapped her arms around her to hold her back.

"No! Biyomon, you can't! You'll get hurt! I won't let you! My decision is final!" Sora yelled.

"Sora, why can't you understand?!" Biyomon cried shocking her partner.

Those were the same words that Sora had said to her mother before she had ran out of the house.

"Biyomon digivolve too…BIRDRAMON!"

The red bird took to the sky and used her Meteor Wing to get Myotismon, but he just covered himself with his cape and didn't get hurt.

"I am really starting to hate this guy." Daisuke glared over at Myotismon as she kneeled down beside Veedramon, patting his snout.

Myotismon flipped his cape out of the way, then hit Birdramon with his Crimson Lightning, making her screech in pain.

"BIRDRAMON!" Sora cried.

She started running towards her partner as she fell from the sky in pain.

"Birdramon, no! I LOVE YOU!" Sora cried making her Crest and digivice glow red.

"Birdramon digivolve too…GARUDAMON!"

Garudamon was a bird creature that stood up on her legs with arms and had two wings on her back with long blonde hair, she was red with blue and white markings all over her and she was ready for a fight.

"What? Where is that glow coming from?" Myotismon asked as he shielded his eyes.

Garudamon went over to Sora and gently picked her up in her hands, looking down at her with pretty green eyes.

"Sora, I can feel your love. It's making me strong!" Garudamon said.

"My Crest…it glows." Sora said with tears streaming down her face.

"I knew she could do it." Daisuke smiled.

"Garudamon is the Ultimate form of Birdramon. She commands the sky and protects the earth. Her attack is a flaming bird called Wing Blade." Tentomon explained.

"Ah! Why is it now the Crest of Love glows as I was about to claim victory?!" Myotismon growled.

"I'll protect you, Sora." Garudamon said as she flew up and then used her Wing Blade attack, which was a giant bird made out of flames that went down to Myotismon, who countered with Grizzly Wing, the attacks both equal.

"I did not anticipate such strength." Myotismon said as he blocked the light.

"Come on everyone, climb on." Garudamon said as she flew over to the others.

Climbing up onto Garudamon, the group were then taken off away from Myotismon who was glaring after them in anger.

"Next time, you won't escape!" The vampire yelled after them.

Everyone cheered as they were flown off far away from Myotismon as the sun began to rise into the sky, shining down light on them all and bringing relief from the nightmare they had experienced.

Finding a safe place to rest, they sat down near a river and Garudamon transformed into Yokomon.

"All you had to do was stop worrying about it, Sora and you got your Crest to work!" Tai smiled at her.

"When Biyomon was in danger of getting hurt, I realized that I was acting just like my mom. Know what I really realized? My mom loved me all along." Sora said with a loving smile.

"It was your love that helped me digivolve, Sora." Yokomon said cheerfully.

"I'm glad." Sora said to her.

"You see? You are capable of love after all." Yokomon said.

"I felt something. I guess it was your love shining through." Tai said.

"I guess Daisuke was right all along." Sora said as she smiled over at the girl.

"And the sooner you guys realize that, the happier we'll all be." Daisuke grinned as she pet Veemon who was sleeping on her lap.

"I felt something too. It made me feel uncomfortable." The child of Reliability said.

"Love shouldn't make you feel like that." TK said.

"That's right, TK. I know why you feel uncomfortable, Joe." Mimi said as she walked over to him with her hands cupped together.

"Why?" He asked her.

"These were in your pocket." Mimi said as she handed over some seeds that she held and Matt played his harmonica.

"Oh, I guess it wasn't love." Joe sighed.

Everyone started laughing, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere that had settled upon them as they listened to Matt playing a gentle melody.

Matt stopped playing as thunder boomed and black clouds rolled in as a familiar evil laugh rang out around the area.

"I know that laugh." Sora said standing.

Everyone huddled together, the older kids standing in front of the two younger ones to keep them safe as the digimon went on guard to fight.

"You foolish Digidestinds! The eight of you are no match for my power. Prepare for your ultimate destruction." Myotismon laughed as he hid in the dark sky.

Narrowing her eyes in anger, Daisuke glared up at the sky as her eyes turned gold.

The next time they faced Myotismon, she would be the one fighting him and she would not be going easy on the cliched villain.
