Here's the next chapter! I'm getting my motivation for this fic back :D Thanks to all the inspiring reviews as well! enjoy~

I didn't know how long it had been. Days, weeks? All I knew was I wanted to go home. I was losing hope of ever getting out of this place; all of my escape attempts failed miserably. My leg had healed, finally, but it didn't matter. I didn't have enough to energy to try to get away again anyways. After my last escape attempt I was kept mostly chained down, and I didn't leave this room. They hardly gave me food anymore, and the experiments just got worse and worse.
I didn't react as the door swung open and Makoto walked in. He closed the door and walked over to me, his smirk across his face as usual. "Sadly, it seems my time to do as I please is up. Now I have to start doing as the boss commands. You should be glad, you're going to have a completely new life." I stared up at him, confused and slightly scared by his statement. "Oh well, let's get this started." I fought the urge to struggle, knowing it would do nothing but burn my wrists and ankles. I settled for glaring at him instead.
Makoto walked over to one of the cabinets and pulled out a silver circlet with wires all around it and hanging off. There were circuits and and lights flashing off and on it. "We're gonna try out this little thing," He said, walking back over. "Let's hope it works, we don't want to fry your brain, now do we?"
"No, but I wouldn't mind frying yours." I growled in response.
He narrowed his eyes and roughly pushed the circlet down around my head. He reached his arm over to start messing with the wires. After a moment he pulled back and walked over to the table. He picked up a laptop and put it on the tray. He opened it and typed a few things in before rolling the tray over near my head. He grabbed the wires and hooked them up to the laptop.
"What're you going to do to me this time?" I asked, glaring up at him.
"Well, that's the simple part. I'm going to erase your memories." Makoto smirked, looking away from the laptop at me.

My eyes widened and I pulled at the cuffs, not caring as they burned into my skin. "You're fucking bluffing,"

"Nope." His smirk grew wider. "I'm taking every last one."
"Get the fuck away from me!" I shouted, moving my head to try to shake the circlet off.
"Stay still!" He grabbed my hair and slammed my head back on the table, dazing me. He moved back to the laptop and typed in something else, and I felt the metal grow hot on my forehead. I squeezed my eyes shut as sharp pain shot through my head. The pain only grew worse and I fought the urge to scream. The pain grew to agony and everything abruptly came to a halt as I lost consciousness.

My eyes opened. I was laying on cold, hard ground. My head was throbbing and I put a hand on it, giving a small groan. I pushed myself up, looking at my surroundings. I was in a small room, on one wall was a black door with metal bars in front of it, and on one side was a window. Where was I…? How did I get here? I frowned and stared at the ground. Why...why couldn't I remember anything? I got to my feet and walked towards the exit. Why were there bars? Was I in a cell? Did I do something and get arrested? I grabbed the bars and immediately drew my hands back with a shout of pain. I looked at my hands, seeing burns on my palms and fingers. I watched as they slowly faded away and looked up at the bars. Okay then...don't touch the bars.

"Hello?!" I yelled out. No answer. I backed away from the bars and turned towards the window. I looked out, seeing an astonishing view. There was just nature for miles.
..where the hell was I?

I sat down by the window, my head spinning from the headache and confusion. I tried just concentrating on my memories, pushing down the building panic. Nothing arose. I chewed on my lip as I stared at the ground, not sure what to do. Was anyone else here? IF so did they know who I was? Or why I couldn't remember anything? I leaned my head back, moving my stare to the ceiling. Okay, forget my memories for now(no pun intended), did I have a name? I frowned, thinking about that. After a few moments two words rose to the surface: Rin and Yukio.
I blinked, realizing the first one, Rin, was my name. I didn't know how I knew, I just did. But what about the second? Who was Yukio? My pondering came to a halt as the black door screeched open. I looked over and got to my feet as a few people came into view. They stayed behind the bars. In the middle was a tall, skinny man. He had dirty blonde hair and green eyes, and he was wearing khakis, a black collared shirt, and a white lab coat. Two other men were on either side of him. They were a bit bigger with some muscle and both were wearing a simple black long sleeved shirt and black pants. They were holding guns as well. I frowned, eyeing the guns, before the middle person spoke, drawing my attention.

"Hello, Rin. How did you sleep?" He said in a mockingly friendly way.

"Who are you?" I answered his question with a question. A grin formed on his face, as if he was pleased I didn't know who he was. I was getting some bad vibes from this guy.
"I'm Makoto." He replied. "You know me, even if you don't remember." Before I could speak he held up a blue gem, "Do you know what this is?"
"Uh. A gem?" I said, not seeing why this was important.
"It's more than just a gem. It's something you would probably find important. Something you're...well, missing. Maybe if you behave and cooperate I'll give it to you."

I narrowed my eyes at him as the bad vibes only grew. His eyes seemed to glow with malice.
"So let's try to get along, kay?"

My eyes snapped open and immediately pain seared through my left shoulder. I gritted my teeth and recalled what had occurred to cause this pain. Chris, the fucker. God, I wanted to punch him so bad. I can't believe he was actually working for Makoto the whole time. The thought made me feel sick. Not as sick as what I just remembered. I shook my head slightly, not wanting to think about what I had learned. Instead I slowly sat up to see where I was. I was laying in a hospital bed in the same room as Yukio, who was still asleep. Shura was sitting in a chair, playing on her video game. Bon and Shiemi were standing by the window. Bon was texting on his phone and Shiemi was gazing at the two of us. When I sat up she blinked.

"Rin! You're awake! Are you okay? What happened?" Her exclamation caused Shura and Bon to look up at me. I gave a small wave.

"Hey. I'm fine. It's a long story." I answered her questions in order.
"Well, I bet the last 10 months is a long story too." Bon replied. "SHima went to get some snacks and Izumo and Konekomaru are on the way. Once Yukio wakes up we should have everyone that needs to hear what happened."
I nodded, not saying anything. The door opened as the pinkette returned and a black cat ran into the room and jumped on the bed. "Rin! You're back from vacation! I missed you so much! Please don't ever leave me again!"
I stared at the cat in shock. "A cat is talking to me. A cat is talking. Why am I being talked to by a cat."

The cat had a hurt expression on it's face. "What are you talking about? You're so mean Rin! How could you forget me?"
"That's your familiar, Kuro. You can understand him because your both demons." Bon explained.

"Yeah!" Kuro huffed and sat down. "Jerk."
"I'm sorry." I frowned. "It's nothing personal. I don't remember anything."
Kuro tilted his head. "You forgot everything? How did that happen?"
I looked down as I thought about my dream. "I know exactly how it happened."
There was silence, though a burning curiosity hung in the air.

"Well...want some shrimp?" Shima spoke up after a moment, holding it up. My mood immediately brightened.
"Do it? I'm starving! Thanks man!" I gladly took the offered dish. Shima sat down and started eating his own food.
Bon snorted, "Well that aspect hasn't changed." I ignored his comment, focusing on my meal instead. Kuro sniffed at the shrimp and after a moment I gave him a piece. I was almost done eating when the door opened again and two people walked in. One was short and bald with red glasses and the other was a taller girl with purple pigtails and red eyes. They both were wearing exorcist uniforms.
"Oh my god, it's true!" The bald one exclaimed loudly when he saw me. "You're alive!"
"Not so loud, Yuki's asleep!" Shiemi scolded.
"Sorry." Konekomaru covered his mouth. However, the damage had already been done. We all looked over at Yukio as he stirred, a small groan coming from him. I tensed and stared at the waking boy as it dawned on me. This was Yukio, the only thing I could remember. Maybe the key to getting my memories back. Apparently, he was also my twin brother. But he looked human. Was he the right Yukio? What would I do if he wasn't?
Shiemi moved to his bed side. "Yuki! How are you feeling?"
Turquoise eyes looked over at her, "Shiemi...I'm fine, thank you."
She smiled, "Well, there's some good news." He gave her a curious look and she looked at me. I met her gaze and looked at Yukio as he turned to see what Shiemi was looking at. Yukio's eyes widened with disbelief and he just stared. I shifted uncomfortably, not sure what to do.
"Rin…" He said, his voice the same as when I saw him a few months ago. After a second his expression turned sad, "You still don't recognize me...do you…"
"I'm sorry." I answered. "I know who you are now though. They told me...I um…" my voice trailed off as the teen began to push himself up. "Hey, should you be moving? You're injured." I went ignored. I opened my mouth to say something again, but stopped as Yukio wrapped his arms around me and pulled me into a tight hug. His shoulders began to shake as he started crying.
"I don't care if you don't remember. You're alive. That's all that matters." His voice was thick with emotion. All my doubts melted away as I just knew he was important. After a moment I hugged him back, feeling like I was finally getting somewhere.

They told poor Kuro Rin was on vacation.
