Yay! An update!

When Nico and I came back, Jason was back as well. His hands curled together as he leaned his head on it.

"I don't think we should stay here, I sense-." Zia started to say, as we all sat down. Except for the Greeks. They were standing up, looking at all of us intensely... especially us- The Egyptians.

"Can you shut up even just for a bit?" Percy said to Zia. Irritation on his voice. I knew what Zia was going to reply.

"I'm sorry if I'm irritating you, Greek. But we all know that unless we get out of this place, we aren't safe," she said. Fire sparking in her eyes. I understood her. We were never gonna be safe but we had a large chance of being Monster Buffet unless we leave this place. I didn't get why that son of Poseidon is so irritated. Zia said the right thing so I don't get why he's being like that. Suddenly, I noticed that the Greeks and Romans eyes said the same thing. They don't trust us.

If they were going to send someone to save Grace's sister, it won't be one of the Greeks nor Romans. They wouldn't want their maties to die. As much as I thought about it, disappointment grew in me. Their Greek- Roman rivalry is over, it probably was an easy fix since they're almost the same anyway. But for us Egyptians, we had nothing in common. The rivalry is strong between the others and us.

"We're never safe. We will never be safe. If you're usually safe then I don't get why our Gods would ask you type for hel-

"Percy, stop," Piper spoke out, hesitant. Her gaze avoiding me, "This is exactly what they want us to do. I think we should just follow Zia."

Percy glanced at us, unsure and distant. He nodded, following Piper's advice. I stared at her, charmspeak. Why would their Gods, give them that ability? Something that they could use to ruin people, something that they could use against their own will and They give to them? I stopped my thoughts. Then again, I can use magic freely so I should say the same thing for our Gods.

We were walking, walking closer to light. We had a higher chance of being attacked in the dark. |Even though it was already probably 11 pm. I wanted to sleep, but thinking of all the sleepless nights I've had this was nothing.

"Sadie," Annabeth called, an apologetic look on her face. I looked at her, not knowing what to say so I just looked at her.

"Hey, uhm, about Percy-

"I know. He's just like that sometimes. Yeah, yeah. I get it. Sometimes, he just says the barmiest things," I said, finishing her. I kicked at a rock and it flew somewhere.

"He's just caught between things," she said some more. I shrugged, "How 'bout you? You're a child of Athena. You shouldn't be apologizing for someone else." She closed her mouth, shocked. I didn't care, "You're caught between things as well. You know, who should you trust more? The Romans or the Egyptians? Well, I'll answer that for you. You should trust the Romans more since you knew them earlier. So, if we're going to need to vote on who to sacrifice, I'm voting on someone from the Egyptians. Because, you wouldn't want to get separated with your boyfriend again after you've just reunited. And you wouldn't want to choose a Roman because you're sure they didn't do anything. So there, I answered your questions," I said. Wow, that was long and tiring. I wasted my breath. I walked past her. She didn't call for me, which I understood. I probably just ruined a blossoming friendship.

After the talk with Annabeth, I started feeling guilty. Maybe because I had no right to say that since she did no damn thing to me and also because I felt more guilty when she looked guilty. I walked toward her, awkwardly, "Uhm... hey. About what I said, I won't say to just forget it because I think it's pretty useful if you're caught up in a bunch. But, I apologize saying that out of the blue." I knew I sounded horrid, and I knew I felt awkward and crappy. She smiled and looked at me, "I think I should be the one apologizing. Besides, I'm not even mad. And I feel like you're my little sister, how can I stay mad?" She said and placed her elbow on my shoulders but quickly put it down when she knew it looked awkward, "You know, for a 14 year old girl, you're quite tall." I raised a brow at her, "Quite? I'm almost as tall as you," I said with a smirk. She frowned playfully and pushed me, "Shut up, go talk to the guys," she said after abusing me.
