Wesker wasted no time. He phased out of existence, before reappearing behind Magnus. He raised his chainsaw, lowering it down. Magnus used his hatchet's blade to clash against the spinning blades, sparks flying as they did. Magnus shoved Wesker back, before he disappeared again. Magnus turned to the others. "Watch your backs! He could appear behind any of you!"

And he did. He reappeared behind Fluttershy, before grasping at her with a hoof, clutching her throat tightly. She whimpered in his grasp. Doc glimmered his horn. "Not this one, you're not!" He blasted Wesker's hoof, burning it as he did. Wesker winced, before releasing her and stumbling away, glimmering his horn before teleporting again. Doc galloped to Fluttershy, holding her tightly. "Magnus! We have to get everyone here to a safe room!"

Wesker reappeared beside Sweetie Belle this time, swinging his chainsaw at her. "No!" Eric glimmered his horn, before disappearing and reappearing jsut beside Sweetie Belle, shoving her away as the blade chewed through his side. He cried in agony, before reeling a hind leg back. With one swift kick, he smashed Wesker's burnt hoof, causing him to release the chainsaw.

Wesker growled. "Enough...!" He glimmered his horn, the tip shimmering with an ember of a garnet color, before firing three times. A blast hit Eric directly in the muzzle, causing him to fall back, grasping at his now smoking face as he yelled in torment. Another spark was directed at Magnus, before he lowered his burning mane towards it, absorbing its intense heat. The last hurdled towards Fluttershy and Doc. Doc merely embraced Fluttershy tightly, letting the pyres score a direct hit on his back as he groaned weakly, a large burn on his back.

"Doc...!" Fluttershy rasped out.

Eric, standing up as the smoke cleared. The flesh near his left cheek was completely scorched, and the flesh on his lower jaw was completely gone, only the bone remaining. He picked up the chainsaw, his foreleg now hanging by strands, and dragged it behind him, still revving. He trudged onwards towards Wesker, angry and seeting as he slowly approached. Wesker glimmered his horn, firing more fiery blasts at Eric. Each scored hits on his body, causing it to sputter out and cough out smoke and fog. As he stumbled out and merely continued onward, his skin almost completely gone. Only parts of his muscle remained in only a few places near his legs and midsection, yet his face was now completely bone and marrow, a disturbing yet unchanging grin making it up. Only one of his eyes remained, but it was enough to see where he was going.

"I... I destroyed you..."

Eric clacked and grated his teeth together, a rasp and a ghastly groan escaping him. "You can't kill... what is already dead..." He swung at Wesker wildly, missing completely. He took a moment to regain his composure, his left foreleg now completely tearing off. He stumbled as he made his way closer, his eye bloodshot yet glaring madly at Wesker. "So why... don't you... accept your own fate...!?" He swung once more, now causing sparks to fly as the blade easily severed Wesker's horn off, the tip landing and clattering uselessly on the ground.

Wesker gritted his teeth, yet backed away. "I... I am... not dead!" He grasped the severed horn now, staring at it in his hoof. Without a pause, he turned to the closest, unarmed being he could find... Alan. He raised the tip over his head, pierced it into his neck, and pulled it out quickly. Alan gasped as he choked out, clutching the wound on his side. He kneeled over, Magnus galloping to him. "No no no no no no no no! Alan! ALAN!"

"No...not yet..." Eric said through gritted teeth, suddenly rushing forward with the last of his strength before thrusting the revving blade into Wesker's body, ripping and tearing through it as blood flew onto Eric's skeleton, coating it even more. He left the chainsaw to feed on the flesh of Wesker for a good moment, before raising the blade upwards, severing his neck and after, his muzzle, before pulling the blade out. As soon as the blade fell, so too did Eric, letting out a prolonged groan before it died down.

Wesker, his body now scarred and nearly completely bisected, stumbled a bit, losing every thought and every comprehension he had left. Wesker... CONNECT... c-cannot... die... CONNECT... I am... am... am... CONN- ...am... alreaady... N-NECT... dead... Magnus, clutching his son in his grasp, stood up, tears flooding his eyes, before he trotted to Wesker. He clutched the hatchet in his wing, and with one last motion, sliced Wesker's head clean off from the neck. His body fell over with a thud, the room beginning to raise a silence as the chainsaw died off. Sweetie Belle, frantic, galloped to what remained of Eric's corpse, clutching him tightly.

"No..."

Magnus turned to his son is his wings, stroking his cheek. "No... c-come on son, hang in there... hang in there! Don't... don't leave me... don't leave your mother and I... p-please..." But it was useless. Alan turned to his father, weak, the light dwindling from his eyes. He reached for his locket, taking it off his neck, before wrapping it around his father. As soon as he did, he felt his limbs dangle, and the light fading from his eyes. His head then slumped in his father's wings, his eyes glassy now.

Magnus didn't move. He merely shut his eyes, wrapping his wings around his son's body tighter, before sobbing, burying his face into Alan. He knelt down, feeling completely empty inside. Nopony else dared to try to comfort him... how could they?

The silence was short lived. A banging emerged and resonated from both shut doors, before the remaining ponies and Control Freaks gathered together. "...this is it..." Bonbon said, turning to the others.

Doc merely shook his head, his back still scarred. "N-no..."

Magnus, although not saying a word, clutched his son in his hooves now. He opened his wings widely, before glancing up at the roof. He gritted his teeth, his eyes watery, before blasting away the roof with one blast, the metal melting as soon as it was blasted. He saw the grey skies of the world above. He turned to the others that remained. "...no... no more death... no more suffering... Lyra... Bonbon... Doc... Scootaloo... Rainbow... Fluttershy... Sweetie Belle... Applebloom... Derpy... Dinky... Draco... we... we gotta go..."

Draco merely shook his head, not moving as he lie on his back, weak. "N-no..."

Sweetie nodded as well, huddled beside Eric's corpse. "...I'm not leaving..."

Fluttershy glanced at them, before sighing. "A-are you... sure...?"

They both nodded. Magnus shook his head. "...why...?"

Sweetie looked down. "...my sister is gone... and... and so is he... I... I don't want to go back alone..."

Draco nodded as well, turning away from Magnus. "...you trusted me... with something so precious to you... and... I fucked that up... I don't deserve this..."

Magnus gritted his teeth, but Derpy stopped him. "Leon... they... they want this... don't take it away..."

Magnus turned to her, before nodding solemnly. He lifted Rainbow and Scootaloo on his back, both staring sadly at Draco. Rainbow, clutching onto her severed wing, merely shook her head. "...Draco... I'll... I'll never forget you..."

Draco breathed deeply, tears in his eyes. "...I love you, Rainbow..."

Rainbow didn't respond, turning away. She mumbled something to herself... something that nopony made out, but somepony could guess after Rainbow wiped her eyes with her separated wing. Scootaloo held onto her tightly.

Dinky climbed aboard Derpy, and Doc onto Fluttershy. Magnus trotted to Lyra and Bonbon, carrying them on his back as well. He strained... but it didn't matter... pain meant little to him anymore. Applebloom stayed behind, however. "...Scootaloo... when you go out there... tell everypony... tell them we said goodbye... please."

Scootaloo nodded sadly. The banging grew louder, followed by the groaning of metal. Magnus, Derpy, and Fluttershy opened their wings, glancing once more at the three, before slowly taking off. No other farewells were said... perhaps it was for the best. As the three pegasi, with the passengers on their backs, glanced downwards, they saw a dim red light illuminate the dam facility below, flashing before it was drowned out by a sudden flood of water, roaring from below. The three flew back towards Ponyville... the ruins no more housing any undead.

The only survivors of the dam returned to Fluttershy's cottage. Magnus wasted no time digging in her yard as the others simply sat in silence inside, watching. After a moment, and when Magnus was satisfied with his work, he gently placed Alan's body into the ground. As he did, he trotted into the shed, grabbing both Rarity and Big Mac. He returned to the hole, placing both inside as well. He stared in silence for a bit, before shutting his eyes. He reached around his neck, taking something off from what the ponies inside could tell. As he did, his golden hide diminished and returned to its grayish hue, before he placed something within. After wiping his eyes, he turned away from the hole, beginning to cover it up once more. After he did, he trotted away a bit, opened his wings, and took off.

The others galloped inside, rushing to see where he was going. But they were too late. As he flew, a streak of black and yellow light followed his trail. At first, they thought he would head to Canterlot by the direction he was going. But even at the distance he was, they knew he flew past Canterlot. Where he was going... nopony knew. Some ponies in Canterlot, after repelling the attacks of the undead, reported they saw him flying north... not in any direction. They especially noted he flew as though he were nomadic... unsure... lost. And as of then... nopony had seen sight of him. As they noticed the undead disappearing, they noticed the corpses remained. They questioned whether or not Magnus would return... whether he could return things back to the way they were. But until then, they merely waited... waiting for something... or nothing to happen...
