First of all, I am so sorry that I made you all worry with my A/N in the last update. I love you guys so much. Plus, I am very okay. Anyway, here is the newest chapter. I hope you all love it!

"So like…you and the nerd are dating now?"

"Of course they are Johnny. Didn't you see how they ogled each other at the party?"

"I don't need your attitude, Jimmy."

Edd sat back and listened as the two of them squabbled over the news he just gave them. He really hadn't talked to them much and it was probably very rude of him. Jimmy and Johnny had been his best friends since he moved to this town. It was only fair to keep them in the loop too. Even if they annoyed the ever-loving shit out of him sometimes. The three of them were on their way to pick up Kevin actually. He didn't want Kevin going to school with his bike in this weather. Icy roads and bike tires? No, no thank you. Not if he could help it.

Edd stopped in the front of Kevin's house and debated going up to the door to get him. That idea was squashed however, when Kevin came walking out. Edd had actually reserved the front seat for him, hence the questioning about whether or not the two of them were dating or not. Edd smiled as Kevin got into the front seat, the green hoodie he was wearing obviously way too big for him.

"Morning Pumpkin," Edd said as Kevin belted in.

"Good morning, I see you brought Jimmy and Johnny."

"Yeah," Johnny said.

"What of it?" Jimmy replied.

Kevin smirked up at Edd and he did the same. Edd started to drive away from the curb and get settled into the roughness of the road. In a few minutes they were at school. Jimmy and Johnny got out quickly and abandoned the couple. Kevin felt his face heat up as Edd stared at him.

"So, how was your day yesterday?"

"Oh, it was good. I did all of the homework assignments that my teachers assigned over break. I am such a procrastinator," Kevin said. "How was yours?"

"Well, I was bored actually. There was nothing for me to do at home except for laundry." Edd sighed. "I just don't possess your procrastination skills."

"It's a shame, really." Kevin leaned his left elbow against the console and waited for Edd to get the message. Once he did, Edd grabbed Kevin's face and kissed him slowly. Once he pulled away he left his palm against Kevin's soft pale skin. He rubbed his thumb over it, savoring the velvet feel.

Kevin smiled widely and closed his eyes as Edd brought him into another kiss. Kevin broke away from it though. "We have to get to class."

Edd grumbled but pulled the keys out of the ignition anyway. The two of them went inside the building together, ignoring all of the obscure looks they were getting from the other students.

Kevin sighed as he walked through the hallway with Nazz. It was just before lunch and the two of them were working their way to Nazz's locker, where she kept her lunch.

"What's up?" Nazz asked, turning her head to face Kevin.

"Hm?" Kevin glanced over at Nazz but quickly turned to the floor. "Nothing, I'm just not used to school anymore. I am so tired."

"Same. Oh, look who's waiting for you." Nazz nudged Kevin on the shoulder.

At the other end of the hallway Edd was walking down with his eyes locked on Kevin.

"I'll be waiting at our spot. Bring him with you once you get to your locker."

Kevin smiled at her and she went left down another corridor. Kevin looked over at Edd who had limited the distance between them by half. When he finally came over to Kevin he wrapped his arms around him.

"I haven't seen you all day," Edd said bringing his head down to kiss Kevin's cheek.

"It hasn't been that long…" Kevin smiled up at him.

"Do you want me to drop you off right after school or?"

"Good question. Do you want to drop me off right after school?"

"I made out like a bandit at this discount bin full of old movies. They were selling them for like five bucks each, Pumpkin. Five bucks. So like any normal human being, I got twelve."

"Twelve? Are you serious?"

"No. I only got five. And I was seriously considering you coming over tonight and watching one or two with me. Two only if we don't have that much homework tonight."

"Let's do it, what all did you get?"

"No offense, but I doubt you would know the titles."

"I am taking offense but I also doubt I would know the titles."

"So are you coming over?"

"I guess I could. Oh, do you want to eat lunch with Nazz and me?"

"Nah, I promised Johnny I would help him finish his homework before seventh period. He forgot to do it last night. And by 'forgot' I mean he was busy wrecking his buddies on Xbox."

Kevin chuckled and put his head on Edd's chest. "Wait for me at the end of the day then."

"Meet me at my car, I'll warm it up."

"Okay, bye." Kevin pushed Edd away and waved. "Go help Johnny."

"Will do," Edd waved back as he walked down the hallway.

Kevin met Nazz at their alternate lunch spot. It was too icy out in the courtyard so the teachers cut it off as a lunch spot for a while. Nazz was sitting at an unoccupied bench in the lunch room, far away from any of the other groups. He smiled when she had her phone out. She had put a book in front of her cell to shield it from the teachers roaming the cafeteria.

"Who's that?" Kevin asked suspiciously, knowing full well who it was.

Nazz smiled. "Marie. We've been texting since New Years. She is hilarious." She raised her phone slightly so Kevin could see. "Today she sent me a video of Eddy falling on the ice. She asked me to show everyone."

"Show me later. I don't want you to get your phone taken."

Nazz sighed. "Yeah, that would be bad. Where is Edd?"

"He had to help Johnny so he's probably somewhere in here," Kevin said shrugging. "So what do you think of Marie?"

Nazz immediately went red after Kevin asked the question. "W-well, um…she's super sweet."

Kevin started to laugh.

"Hey! Don't mess with me, idiot. Eat your lunch."

Kevin smirked. "Put down your phone and eat yours."

Nazz made a face but slid her phone into her pocket and pulled out her hot pink lunch bag. She started eating her PB&J slowly.

"I was thinking of getting a cell phone, actually. It would make talking to everyone a lot easier."

Nazz inhaled excitedly. "Really? That would be absolutely great. Are you going to ask your dad about it?"

"Yeah, I haven't really asked him for a lot recently. Or ever. He knows I'm responsible too."

"Ooh, I can't wait. Keep me posted on everything."

"Oh yeah, I'm going over to Edd's tonight to watch some movies. I'm ditching you at the end of the day."

"No problem. My mom is gonna pick me up early today. Dentist and all that jazz. So really, I'm the one ditching you."

"Ah, okay. I'll just suffer then."

"Hey, you were just about to ditch me, loser. Have fun with Edd though, I'm sure it will be romantic." Nazz winked for absolutely no reason.

"Good luck with Marie too, she is a riot."

When the last bell rang Kevin walked down the hallway to his locker. He grabbed his Algebra II book and shoved it into his messenger bag. As far as he remembered he only had to do some polynomial work and then he was done. If possible he could do his Vocabulary homework from English, but that packet wasn't due until the end of the week so he had time to waste. Kevin shut his locker and walked down the hallway. There were fewer students to walk past which was nice. He made it to the front doors and walked down the stairs. After spotting Edd, Kevin smiled widely. He was currently leaning up against the back of his car, chewing on the stick of a lollipop.

"Wait in your car, it's cold out!" Kevin said rushing up to Edd.

"I didn't feel like it. Plus, how else was I supposed to make you immensely jealous of my candy?"

"I would have been jealous regardless of whether or not you froze your fingers off." Kevin huffed and placed his back pack in the back seat. He then opened up the passenger door.

"Alright, well as long as you are jealous." Edd walked over to the driver's side and climbed in. The two of them sat for a minute absorbing the heat that came from the vents. It was odd how quickly Edd picked up the habit of sticking his hands up to the vents. He hoped Kevin wouldn't notice.

"Should have waited in the car, huh?" Kevin said with his eye brow raised cockily.

"Shut up you," Edd said and stuck his lollipop in Kevin's mouth.

"Hm, butterscotch," Kevin said and quieted down for a bit.

The two of them arrived at Edd's house in no time. By then the lollipop was gone and Kevin was annoying Edd again. As they pulled into the driveway Edd was yelling at him to stop messing with the radio. Kevin then responded by turning on Talk Radio. Edd grabbed his hand.

"I am going to saw this thing off," Edd said holding it up to his face.

Kevin laughed at him and took his hand away. "Hurry up, I wanna watch those movies."

"Okay, but I'm choosing which one we watch first. Wait, unlock the door." Edd pitched Kevin his key ring.

"Alright." Kevin caught the ring, much to both of their surprise, and unlocked the door.

Edd grabbed their stuff out the back seat and carried it inside while Kevin was busy doing whatever.

When Edd got in the door he found Kevin rummaging around for the remote. He was bent over, searching for it in the cracks of the couch. Edd busied himself by putting their things by the door. He turned around to see Kevin pull it out from under his favorite throw pillow.

"Ah ha, found it. So where are the new movies?"

"I put them on the counter. Let's watch Jaws first."

"Jaws?"

Edd smirked and went into the kitchen. He came back into the living room with a plastic bag full of movie cases. He took out a blue and white case with a gigantic shark on it.

"Oh cool, I love sharks."

"You won't after this, trust me."

It was a half hour into the movie and Edd was barely paying attention to the storyline. He was though, very engrossed in the red head sitting next to him. Kevin was leaning up against him, with his head on his shoulder. The two of them had ditched their hats a while ago. He could feel whenever Kevin breathed. His hair smelled good too, it was really unexpected. Edd had adjusted himself when Kevin had first started leaning against him by moving his arm to the top of the couch. They had done this cuddling thing before right? Why did it seem so foreign to him right now? Now that he thought about it, they did cuddle before and Edd was just as much of a wreck as then. He was really good at hiding it apparently because Pumpkin wasn't saying anything. Edd put his head on top of Kevin's and sighed.

"What?" Kevin asked, keeping his head where it was so he didn't jostle Edd.

"Nothing, just nervous I guess."

Kevin moved his head out from under Edd's in order to look at him. "Oh how the tables have turned," Kevin smirked.

Edd blushed. "Hey, shut up."

"I'm just teasing," Kevin sat up and kissed Edd's cheek. "Now, when am I gonna get to see the shark?"

Edd ignored Kevin's question and pulled Kevin's face closer in order to kiss him on the lips. He captured Kevin's mouth in a quick movement and twisted his head, making sure to do everything precisely. He rested one hand on Kevin's shoulder while the other ghosted over his cheek and neck. Edd heard a relaxed sigh come from Kevin as he leaned into him. Kevin's fingers, which had been clenched into fists at his sides, were now rising towards Edd; ready to be woven through his hair. When Edd felt the playful tugs from Kevin, he kissed a trail from his lips to his jaw line.

Kevin laughed. "Hey, that tickles."

Edd smiled and pressed his lips to the flesh of Kevin's neck. Kevin responded by squealing and throwing himself back onto the second cushion of the couch. Edd followed in suit, bracing himself from falling completely on Kevin by putting his arms out on either side of him. Kevin looked up at Edd with a small smile. They kissed again, this time nice and slow. Edd eventually took off Kevin's glasses, as they were a nuisance to this whole process. He set them on the coffee table to his right and went back to moving his hands up and down Kevin's sides. Edd gave Kevin a break and moved his mouth down to Kevin's neck. He sucked in a patch of skin and bit it gently, causing Kevin to take a sharp inhale.

Kevin felt his hands lock onto Edd's shoulders. "E-Edd," he panted.

Edd stopped for a moment to look up at Kevin, who had a very deep red coating his cheeks. His lips were red and moist, begging for another kiss. "Yeah?" Edd asked gruffly.

"I'm not…uh...I'm not really ready. Not yet."

Edd nodded. "Okay," he said and kissed Kevin again. After pulling away again he kissed Kevin's cheek and helped him up. "We aren't going to do anything if you don't want to, don't worry."

Kevin nodded with a wide smile. He grabbed Edd's hand and held it tightly. He continued to lean against Edd until they reached the end of the movie. Actually, they barely paid attention to the movie. Instead they started talking about Nazz and Marie.

"They talk to each other all the time apparently," Kevin said.

"Really? Marie hasn't said anything about it to me. Probably because I haven't seen her in a while I guess."

"Maybe. But yeah, I am so on board with their blooming relationship. But I don't even remember them switching phone numbers at the New Year's party."

"Neither do I, but that was probably because all you were looking at was me," Edd winked.

"And Eddy shoving an entire cupcake into his mouth. Plus it was one that Lee made."

"I don't even know how he survived."

The conversation lagged for a moment as the credits started moving up the screen. "I'm gonna talk to my dad about getting a phone. We could probably stay in touch better."

"That would be nice. And then I could text you at four in the morning and ruin your day."

"Or you could not do that and I would continue loving you."

"Psh," Edd said.

"Don't 'Psh' me." Kevin pinched Edd's nose.

"What time is it?" Edd asked in a nasally voice.

Kevin laughed. "Time for me to do my homework."

Edd considered it for a moment. "Are you sure you have to do that?" He stopped Kevin from pinching his nose.

"Very."

Edd sighed. "Fine," he said, drawing out the word. "I have some to do too so I think I'll join you. Kitchen table?"

"That will be an adequate location for homework doing." Kevin raised himself from the couch and reached out for Edd.

"You're an adequate location for doing," Edd said under his breath.

"Huh?"

"Nothing, let's go already," Edd said and let Kevin pull him up. "My Physics homework isn't going to do itself."

Kevin smiled. "You could say it's Physically impossible."

Edd narrowed his eyes at Kevin and then shoved him back down onto the couch.

"What? I thought it was funny!"

Edd ignored him and moved their back packs to the kitchen.

"I still think it's funny," Kevin said as he got up from the couch again.

"Hurry up and get in here, idiot. And no more puns."

Kevin smiled widely as he watched Edd pull out a few binders from his back pack. "Alright, I'm coming."
