*(A/N): Soooo, this chapter ended up being a lot longer than I thought it was going to be.

So now we have Ai in this chapter and what she's going to go through. I also have some things to say.

I would like to give a shout out to Shizuzu19, she's someone I met on Destiny who found out I write fanfiction and started reading my stories. Thank you!

Second, a lot of you guys want to see what Okami and Ai look like. So I created a group on Facebook called "Okami The Blue Wolf RWBY FANFICTIONS" (with three '!') and I basically upload a lot of art of events that happen from all my stories or just pictures of how I see them. It's not just Okami and Ai, it's also other characters like team RWBY or also other OCs that might come up in the near future. I also might start making announcements on there just to not get anyone's hopes up thinking I updated just to see an announcement. So please join, anyone is welcomed!

I hope you guys enjoy the chapter, and I'll see you at the end!*

Okami doesn't know what I've been through…

Then again, I don't know what she's been through either…

We were very close to each other as kids despite what the others told us.

My family, the Yukimoto family, had been around since almost the very beginning of the village. Over the generations, the Yukimoto and Kiba family had been good friends and were well respected throughout the village. When the Kiba family came to power, they trusted my family to be their loyal advisors. It had been that way ever since.

Since my father was a member of the pack, I spent a lot of time with the Kiba family. Being that I was the older of two off springs, my father would bring me over to the Kiba house to 'start our friendship early'. It was at that time that I met Tsume.

Tsume was a bright and intelligent young girl, yet for some reason she always seemed depressed. I later found out that this was because her father, Kenji, seemed to have no interest in her at all. He would train her and teach her, but he would never show any signs of affection towards her…

Tsume and I were close, but I felt that I was never myself when I was with her. It felt like I had to be the strong one to help her.

…I didn't like it at all…

Then a few years later, I decided to take a walk around inside the forest where I became surrounded by grimm. Luckily for me, someone else was there and saved me from those monsters.

That was the day I met Okami.

After that day, Okami became closer and closer. It's hard to explain, but if just felt like Okami was different than everyone else. She didn't see me as this noble girl like the others… She saw me as Ai.

We both kept it a secret since the villagers wouldn't approve. We would meet at night and do things together. Eventually, I started to like her more than just a friend. And at the same time, Tsume was jealous of Okami.

Many years later before he died, Kenji announced that Okami was his first born child, making Okami the next heir to the throne. We no longer had to keep our friendship a secret and were closer than ever…

Until Okami told me about her feelings.

I shouldn't have, but I ran from her. I was scared out of my mind. It wasn't like I didn't love her, but it was against the law. I can still remember the look on Okami's face that day, it showed so much pain.

I thought about it long and hard, and after three days I decided to tell her how I felt despite the law. But by the time I got there… Okami was already gone.

Tsume and I became close again and we were properly friends this time. But I still had hope that Okami would come back for me.

Almost four years later, I found Tsume's journal and discovered the truth. I used Tsume as an excuse to leave, but the real reason is because I wanted to find the person I loved…

But what if I lost hope in Okami?

What if I never found or read Tsume's journal?

…Who's side am I on?...

~ Ai Yukimoto

With My Enemies'…

~ Ai ~

She normally wouldn't be up this early, but she had to; the Alpha requested her by name.

She stepped through the door and into the room. It was dark and quiet with no one inside. She stood there in the room facing the throne and waited quietly. She remained motionless until she heard someone talk to her from behind.

"I see you're still as prompt as usual."

Ai turned to face the Alpha and her friend. "Tsume, you called me on urgent matters."

Tsume nodded her head and walked toward the window to look out into the dark sky. "You are aware of the…incident…that happened recently, correct?"

Ai nodded her head knowing she was talking about the attempted assassination. "The person got away, right?"

Tsume nodded once more and walked over to the throne. "The fact that the assassin knew the area so well and knew how to get around the guards so well, your brother and I believe it must have been an ex-hunter. From what we have learned through research, there has only been one person to leave this village that was an ex-hunter…"

Ai's eyes widened. "You don't mean…"

Tsume nodded. "…Okami…"

The air grew silent before Ai spoke again. "Why would Okami want you dead?"

"Jealousy?" Tsume responded. "She did grow up as an orphan after all while I grew up in comfort. Maybe she finally snapped."

"Why are you telling me all of this?" Ai asked.

"Because I want you to track her down…and kill her."

Ai started to laugh. "You can't be serious."

Ai looked up and saw harsh red eyes staring back directly at her. Ai became captivated in those blood red eyes and she knew Tsume was dead serious.

"Were her eyes always like that?"

"Why me?" Ai asked.

"Because you are the best tracker in the whole village, and maybe you can finally come to peace." Tsume told her in a sad expression.

"You no I can't do this." Ai said slowly backing away.

"And why not?!" Tsume said angrily. "Do you not remember that she abandoned you?! That she left without saying a word to you?! Did you just forget she tried to kill me?! Did you forget you are a hunter who serves her people?! You WILL accept this mission!"

Ai gulped and nodded. "Hai… Tsume…"

Tsume got out of Ai's face and sat down on her throne and placed on her mask. "Good, go do the mission quickly."

Ai bowed and started walking towards the door.

"Oh, and Ai?"

Ai turned to face Tsume and was unable to see her face under the black dragon mask. "If I find out you let Okami live…I won't hesitate to kill you."

Ai gulped once more and nodded. She then bowed again and left. Once she stepped outside, she was greeted by Tsume's wolf, Akumu, with a blue scarf in her mouth. Akumu walked over to Ai and placed the scarf at her feet before the wolf went to join her master.

Ai picked up the scarf and held it up to her nose. Once she was sure she caught on to the scent, she placed the scarf around her neck and took off into the woods…

She was on the hunt for a 'wolf'.

She followed the scent to a city, the streets were empty and dimly lit. Across the street from her was a café and outside the café was a girl with long blonde hair yelling in the direction of the forest.

"Ruby!" The girl yelled. "Ruby, come back!"

The girl then ran in the direction she was yelling at. Ai sniffed the air and noted her target was moving away so she quickly ran into the forest as well.

She was back in the city now, the sun was almost set. She was sneaking around near a port. She saw this suspicious man with a wild look in his eyes walk towards an abandoned warehouse.

Ai paid no mind to it and started walking away until she heard a scream. She ran towards the building and almost threw up. There was so much blood splattered around and the smell was overwhelming.

A blue object caught Ai's eye and she ran towards it.

Ai kept chasing down the target until morning.

She lost track of her but still followed her scent. She ran around the corner and ran into someone. She ran into a girl with black hair and a black bow.

"I'm so sorry!" Ai said in a panicked voice.

"It's alright, I'm fi-" The black haired girl cut herself off and just stared at her awkwardly.

Ai took the hint, she helped the girl back on her feet and ran past her. "Sorry! I gotta go! I'm kinda looking for someone!"

Ai ran until the girl was out of sight and stopped to catch her breath.

"That was a close one; she looked at me weirdly because I'm a faunus… Maybe I should find some place to rest."

Ai did just that and woke up a few hours later to continue the hunt.

She was now running far off in the woods.

"I'm going to get her this time!"

She ran into a clearing that was covered in blood, but she kept going. She was so close to her target now. She ran for ten more minuets until she saw her target.

She quickly drew an arrow and aimed the bow. She let the arrow loose and the arrow caught the target and pinned her to a tree.

"What the hell?!" Okami shouted. She tried to pull the arrow out but Ai stepped into her sight.

"Ai?" Okami then let out a huge smile. "Ai! I've been looking for you!"

"Liar." Ai said with no emotion in her voice.

Okami looked at her weirdly. "Ai, are you okay?"

Ai pulled out two hunting knifes and Okami's eyes widened.

"Ai! What are you doing?!" Okami said in a panicked tone. "Ai, wake up! Why are you doing this?!"

"Because, you tried to kill Tsume!" Ai said in outrage. "Because I'm a hunter that doesn't betray her people! And because you abandoned me!"

Ai then charged at Okami with the hunting knifes. Okami was a lot quicker than Ai thought. Okami activated her weapons and four wicked claws came out of both gauntlets in time for her to block Ai's knifes.

"Ai, listen to me!" Okami said in a serious tone. "Tsume set me up! She wants me dead so she framed me! You have to listen to me!"

"Why should I?!" Ai shouted close to tears, she was being pushed harder than her limit with this mission.

"Because…" Okami started. "I love you!"

Ai stopped moving. She was in shock for what Okami just said.

"…What?..."

While Ai was distracted, Okami was able to quickly disarm Ai and grabbed her wrists. Ai was trying to fight against her but she was running low on energy. She looked up to see Okami's calming gentle blue eyes.

"She seems so much more different than Tsume."

Okami sensed Ai calmed down. "I'm sorry Ai, but I have to wake you up."

"Okami, what are you doing?" Ai asked confused.

Okami gently grabbed Ai's head and brought her closer to her face.

"Wait, is she going to..."

Ai closed her eyes and waited. She was confused when Okami stopped moving her and opened her eyes. Okami's face was beat red with her eyes wide and blushing wildly. Then out of nowhere, Okami threw her head back and slammed it into Ai's head.

Ai fell backwards and held her head in pain. She looked up to see tat Okami had freed herself from the tree and was now standing over her.

"Ai…" Okami said while bending over and offering her a hand. "Don't you trust me?"

At that moment, Ai felt an intense pain in her head and images started to flash before her eyes. Her memories was playing before her starting from the moment she met Okami and she remembered the mist…

"Ai, are you okay?" Okami said worriedly. "I didn't think I hit you that hard!"

"I'm fine." Ai said, getting back on her feet. "I have something to take care of."

"Ai! Wait!"

But it was too late; Ai was determined to kill a bitch.

She threw the door open and walked into a dimly lit room.

"TSUME!" Ai roared in complete outrage. "YOU TRIED TO FOOL ME!"

Ai searched the room looking for Tsume when something sunk into her back causing a lot of pain. Ai turned to see Tsume step out from behind her throne with a kunai in her hand and her katana strapped to her left hip.

"I warned you."

"…SHIT…"

Tsume charged her tackling Ai to the ground. Tsume took the kunai and stabbed it through Ai's hand to pin her to the ground.

"I'm going to enjoy killing you and my sister." Tsume said with a smile.

Tsume drew her sword and was about to thrust it into Ai's chest, when suddenly four claws sprung out of her chest. Her eyes went wide with shock and she started coughing up blood. The claws were retracted and Tsume's body fell showing Okami with blood on her weapons and splattered all over her clothes. Okami then pulled the kunai out of Ai and helped her up.

"How did you-"

"Do that?" Okami finished for her. "The trial is only real to whoever it is for, since this trail is meant for you I can move around freely."

Okami then smiled at Ai and she returned it. "Okami, I-"

Ai cut herself off when she noticed Okami's ears pop up and looked towards Tsume's dead body. A white mist started to flow out from Tsume and started swirling around Ai.

"Ai!" Okami yelled over the wind. "Tell the others I'm fine and I'll make it out soon!"

Okami smiled one last time before Ai's vision turned white.

~ Dark Shadows Forest ~

She slowly opened her eyes and saw the mist surrounding her evaporate. She sat up and saw team RWBY walking around calling her name. She met up with them and soon they all found Urufu and Hime and Ai passed on the message Okami said.

"Wait, Okami was also in your dream?" Ruby asked.

"Mine too…" Said Weiss.

"Me three!" Exclaimed Yang.

"Mine as well." Said Blake in a calm tone.

"Okami was in all our trails and saved us, but…" They all turned around to see a giant cloud of mist and heard some cry of pain.

"Who's going to save Okami?"
