As his hand drifted slowly up her inner thigh she felt a cold shiver up her spine as she leaned in close to taste his lips against hers.

As her hands comb through his hair and pull at them aggressively his find her hips as he begins to bite and suck the nape of her neck.

Hearing the faint sound of crying she shakes as she opens her eyes to find it was all a dream.

It had been nearly a week since Henry was born and three days since she was finally allowed back home. But not a second went by that she wasn't so lucky and thankful to still be here.

Rolling over and placing her feet on the floor she took her silk dressing gown off the hook and wrapped it around herself.

Following the noise she made her way to the nursery, standing in the doorway she looked to see Chuck standing there with their son. With a sigh she smiled sweetly as she leant against the doorway and looked at him so in love with their son.

As he bounced him in his arms with a dirty cloth over his shoulder he lifted him into the air, "You like that huh? Yeah" he smiled rubbing his little belly with his finger as Henry started giggling.

"Well daddy loves you very much, I do. Yes I do," he added bouncing him still before placing a kiss to his forehead.

Combing his bit of brown tuft of hair away from his face, Chuck couldn't believe how much love he felt for this little human being.

Which apart of him was so thankful for, especially to Blair for bringing him such joy, but at the same time he wondered how his father could have treated him like he did.

"Your daddy's little boy aren't you, yes you are," he said pulling down his son's shirt as he still continued to laugh, before being interrupted.

"Stop trying to corrupt our son Bass, you know he's a mommy's boy"

With a smirk on his face he looked over to her, "Good morning Mrs Bass, you're looking as beautiful as ever"

"Enough of the sweet talk Bass, my son" she said holding her arms out.

"Our son" he added as he passed him over.

Bringing him to her chest, Chuck smiled brightly before moving his arm around the back of them both and pulling her in for a kiss.

"God I love it when you play hard to get"

"You haven't got me yet"

"Henry seems to disagree" he said looking to their son smiling brightly at them.

Blair just shot him a look, "What's daddy been saying to you, huh?" she added playfully before smiling back up to Chuck, "I love you"

"I love you too" he replied before moving down for another kiss.

"And me and daddy love you very much," she said running her finger along his cheek.

"Thank you" Chuck smiled placing a kiss to her cheek.

"For what?"

"For Henry. I didn't think I could love another human being this much, until I meet you"

"That's because I saw something that no one else did, you" she smiled running her hand along his cheek.

Chuck just smiled she was right no one knew him like she did, and he knew her better than anyone.

"Good morning" he said softly as he kissed her lips.

"mmm, morning" Serena said stretching out in bed before sitting up and opening her eyes.

There stood Nate holding a tray full of food.

"Aren't you going to be late for work?"

"Not when I own the company, no. Besides, I wanted to surprise you and make you breakfast in bed." Serena couldn't stop smiling,

"Well, take a seat and enjoy it with me" she said tapping the space beside her in bed.

Passing her the tray he joined her in bed, grabbing a croissant and tearing off a piece.

As he lay on his side looking up to her, he couldn't take his eyes off her.

She was beautiful, he was mesmerized by how much he loved and adored her. He had from the moment they first meet. There was something that always captivated him about her. She was kind, thoughtful, caring but more often than not made bad decisions, but despite her flaws he knew even then she was the one.

It had taken years but just seeing her smile made him happy, that's all he needed.

As she took a sip of orange juice she could see him in the corner of her eye, "What?" she giggled while smiling brightly at him.

"Nothing" he said shaking his head as he smiled softly.

Turning around suspiciously she took a bite of a strawberry, as the juice rang down her chin he started laughing slightly.

"What?"

"Come here" he said running his index finger over her chin before kissing her almost instantly.

Moving the tray from on top of her he moves his body down and kisses her passionately, as her hands wrap around his back pulling him in closer.

Moving to the side she grabs the can of whipped cream before squirting some in his mouth and hers before kissing once again. Their tongues coated in whip cream melt together and they meet.

As Nate pinned her back down against the bed, he took back the can of whipped cream.

Completely in control, Nate pulled up her top and started squirting whip cream all over her bare stomach before licking it off her. As Nate squirted some into her belly button, he feed her a strawberry before taking one for himself and moving down to her belly button.

As he headed south his phone began to ring, "ignore it" Serena moaned in complete pleasure.

Nate just nodded as he continued, as the ringing stopped it started again almost instantly.

Ignoring the call once more he continued to enjoy the best morning he had had in a while, then the phone rang again.

Picking it up he answered it slightly annoyed, "Hello? Wait, what?" he said sitting up straight.

"I'll be there in half an hour, get him a drink… keep him happy. Show him the numbers if you have too just make sure he doesn't leave my office until I get there. Is that understood? Ok thanks Chloë" hanging up the phone he looks to her annoyed, "I have to go"

"What's happened?"

"Mr Li Chang has arrived at the office."

"Who?"

"Mr Chang, he owns one of the biggest media publications in Europe. If I get him as an investor, it could open…" he started to stutter in disbelief.

"Go"

"I know, but I was really enjoying my morning off with you"

"I know and thank you, but who says we can't carry this on later" she said biting on her bottom lip.

Smirking he pecks her on the lips before running off to get ready, as Serena pulls her top and bottoms back up she carries on with her breakfast.

"Are you sure he's warm enough"

"Yes" she said swatting away his hand, "he will be fine"

"Ok" he said admitting defeat before grabbing the lead and walking into the elevator together.

As they walked down the street together, they headed towards Central Park, "You don't need to worry"

"Huh?"

"With Henry, you don't need to worry." Chuck just nodded.

Looking to her side, she could still see he was worrying and working himself up.

As her right hand feel it took his and slipped in to fit his perfectly, as she squeezed it slightly to let him know she was there, he looked to her and smiled slightly.

Looking down to Monkey he couldn't shake this mood he was feeling, "Monkey let's go" he said as he stopped suddenly, giving him a slight tug of the lead.

"Are you sure your okay?"

"I'm fine"

"You don't seem fine" she pressed.

"I'm fine," he said bluntly as they made their way towards the duck pond.

"Chuck, you promised me. No more secrets, I want to know your fears, your worries…I'm your wife," she said coming to a stop and pulling him around to look at her.

As his tongue coated his lips he looked to her, "Honestly, I feel like Henry wont be proud to call me his father"

"He will be, because your everything a man should be. Do you want to know why I haven't been telling you how fantastic you are?"

"Why"

"Because, because all I can think about was how close I came to losing you. Losing my husband, that scared me to death"

Chuck just looked to the ground, "Don't think I wasn't scared too, I lay there thinking that was it. I was going to die there in my blood, and what had I done with my life? Nothing, I was worthless."

"Your not worthless Chuck, when I told you I love you I meant every word, and I know Henry will love you just as much as I do. Because that's who you are, under it all you're a loving husband and an even more loving father."

"I was scared that I had lost you forever, I almost felt like I relived that moment again. But this time it was you."

"But I'm still here, and I'm not going anywhere. You need to stop comparing yourself to your father because your nothing like him. You've grown into an amazing human being who deserves to be loved, and without you I would be lost. I love you, Henry loves you and that's all that matters"

Chuck nodded, "Thank you," he said pulling her in for a hug and kissing her softly.

"I don't want you to put your feelings away anymore, you know I love you and I made a promise to you when we got married to stay by you. Which means I'm not going anywhere. Now come on, let's go feed the ducks," she said walking on with Henry towards a couple of ducks.

Pulling out some bread she began to throw it towards them, "I can't wait till Henry is old enough to understand and feed them himself"

"I know" he smiled, "your incredible, do you know that?"

"Yeah, I had my suspicions." She turned back to him and smiled.

"Hello, Serena?"

"Hey" she smiled as he turned the corner to see she had made them both a romantic steak dinner.

"What's this?"

"Just something to show you how much I love you. Also to say thank you for my surprise this morning, how did your meeting go?"

Nate's face just lit up, "You got it?"

"I got it" he nodded.

"Oh my god, that's amazing." she said flinging her arms around him.

Pulling her in close he span her round the room before placing her back down, but not without a kiss first, "This looks amazing" he said looking to the candle lit table.

"You haven't even tasted it yet"

"I don't have too, I'm sure its delicious"

"Lets see for ourselves shall we," she said smiling before taking a seat.

Taking a bite of his steak, "It's amazing" he uttered.

"Thank you, it's taken me all afternoon to make sure it was perfect"

"While where on the subject of it, Mr Chang was really impressed with the numbers your bringing in with your blog"

"Really?"

"Yeah, are you coming in tomorrow to start this weeks piece?"

"Yes, I've written a few notes down ready"

"Good, because its going to start being advertised in London"

"What?"

"Mr Chang, has spoken to one of his investors in London and they really want to start printing your blog as an article in a newspaper over there"

"Really"

"Yeah, if you want to, I'll tell him to go right ahead"

"Yeah of course, that would be amazing"

Yes I'm still being absolutely useless at updating this, I'm sorry!

Though I've got the week off work this week, so im hoping I can get some writing done for you all.

Thinking of doing a few time jumps soon, but I'm still contemplating it
