Pizza

Hours later...

Raven awoke to find Hunter laying on the couch next to her, deep in sleep. Smiling, Raven teleported both of them to her bed and promptly fell back asleep.

Hunter was the first to wake. He looked around, confused. He felt a weight on his right side and glanced over to see that Raven was fast asleep and had somehow gotten herself onto his right arm. Smiling but feeling his arm going numb, Hunter teleported Raven off of his arm. This caused her to stir. Hunter moved his arm around and shook his head in amusement. He was deep in thought when he suddenly heard a voice.

"Hey. How are you?" Raven spoke as she sat up. Startled for a moment, Hunter came back to reality and replied.

"I'm good. Thanks for teleporting us here, by the way." He smiled at her as he was convinced he was still dreaming.

"Wanna go get something to eat?" Raven asked casually as she rolled out of bed.

"Sure. As long as I'm the one cooking." Hunter replied, sheepishly.

"Fine by me. Cooking sucks." Raven replied, smiling.

The couple entered the living room to find it oddly empty. Looking at each other confused they checked the tower supercomputer. They were greeted by the rest of the team sitting at a local pizza shop.

"They went out to pizza without us? Are you serious?" Hunter said, genuinely hurt.

"Relax. They probably just didn't want to wake us up. Would probably make for an awkward conversation." Raven answered, laughing at Hunter's pouting.

"Not cool. I wanted pizza, too." Hunter said, crossing his arms.

"Go make breakfast, jeez." Raven said as she pushed Hunter towards the kitchen. Hunter grumbled as he obliged. Raven smiled in amusement.

The team arrived back at the tower to find Hunter and Raven curled up on the couch watching a movie.

"Good morning, lovebirds." Cyborg called as he set a box of pizza on the counter.

"We brought you pizza, don't get used to it." Robin added as he smiled.

"It's your favorite, friend Hunter. Tofu." Starfire added. Raven turned to Hunter and smirked.

"Hmm. Happy now?" She teased.

"Yes! You guys are the best." Hunter said as he got up and ran to the pizza causing Raven to fall off of the couch. The team laughed as Raven scowled at Hunter in mock anger. "Oh, sorry. Didn't see you there." Hunter replied before shoving an entire slice of pizza into his mouth. Raven shook her head before replying.

"Didn't you just eat breakfast?" Hunter turned to her, swallowed, and replied.

"It's pizza." Assuming that was sufficient, he proceeded to inhale another slice. Raven shook her head again as she got up and placed her tea mug in the sink before joining the team at the counter. The team continued to talk amongst themselves as Hunter finished an entire pizza by himself. Once done he joined in. They talked for hours as the city lay quiet for once. Where they had expected to return to a burning city, they instead returned to find the city in one piece.

They continued to enjoy each other's company late into the night, watching tv and playing various board games. Cyborg was the first to call it a night after losing his fifth consecutive game of blackjack. Throwing down his cards, he grumbled as the team tried to hold back their laughter. He yawned, biding the team a good night and retiring to his room for the night. Unable to stay awake any longer, the remaining titans also called it a night. As Raven and Hunter walked towards their rooms, Raven asked.

"Hey, wanna sleep in my room again tonight?" She tried to hide her blush as she asked.

"Sure." Hunter replied, nonchalantly. He seemed casual about it on the outset but inside he wanted nothing more than to jump for joy. Not wanting to bother with changing, Raven simply fell onto her bed. Hunter followed suit and lay next to her. They sighed with pleasure as they allowed sleep to embrace them.
