The medic seemed reluctant to heal her wounds. He drained her chakra, oh so willingly. Changed her bandages with rough movements. But his chakra never invaded her body. The muscle and skin were left to heal naturally. Which would take months. Sakura was not known for her patience. She was incredibly sick of being stuck in bed. But without her chakra, she could do very little. She already felt the rust as it corroded her agile body, tightened and strained her muscles. Her body pleaded and ached for movement. A simple walk or better yet a fight against a certain someone.
But today was the day she set her plan into motion. She practically felt the vibrations of his footsteps. As he reluctantly moved towards her room. He stopped at the door. She shifted into a more comfortable position. The door opened and he walked in with a roll of bandages and a bottle of common antiseptic. Which Sakura could tell was long overdue. The smell of her wound was putrid because of the infection. But she had grown used to it, so it no longer made her sick.

Kakashi complained and made excuses almost daily. But he still got his paperwork done. Even if it was late into the night. When most, if not all of the citizens were asleep. He seemed to live in the Hokage's tower. The war had brought many turmoils. Which caused more paperwork. Alliances had to be strengthened, once more. The civilians and shinobi alike had to be cared for with more sensitivity. The accounts had to be watched very closely. All of these things fell on the temporary Hokage, Kakashi. He began to look his age as the job took a very big toll on him.

Naruto had finally been released from his confinement. But he would not enjoy the pleasures of home. As he had to complete a very important mission. A diplomatic mission that would strengthen Konoha's tie to Suna. As well as to let the village hidden in the sand become aware of Konoha's plans for the Akatsuki. His bag was ready for him when he arrived at the Hokage tower. Kakashi handed him the mission scroll and wished him a safe journey. Before he slung his backpack over one shoulder and exited the office. Hinata waited for him in the hallway. They slowly descended the stairs together and walked through their lively village. She hugged him at the new village gate and from there he continued alone. He couldn't see his wife's smile as it diminished.

Sasuke easily took out the guards. His shuriken hit each of them in vital areas. Which left them to bleed out within seconds. Mr. Someone frantically looked around. Eyes widened as he watched his men die. Pools of blood coated the hardwood floors. The pretty woman beside him screeched. The sound rung in the ninja's ears. But then the women only released gargled sounds as the choked on their own blood. Now Mr. Someone was truly alone. That's when Sasuke stepped out of the shadows. He wore the traditional Akatsuki coat. Which the man instantly recognized and he started to plead for his life.
Sasuke could smell the fear as it wafted off of him in waves. It made the Uchiha's deviant smirk grow. He slowly pulled out a kunai and relished in the utmost pleasure it brought him. Because his victim became a cowardly mess. Tears, snot and saliva ran down his bloated face. It mixed with the sweat that poured out of every one of his pores and stained his crisp shirt. He looked absolutely pathetic. The kunai embedded itself into the wall behind him. It had barely grazed his cheek. "Enough of your pathetic whining. You're starting to give me a headache." The Uchiha hissed.

Deidara opened his mouth to complain again. But he chocked on some sand. That he had unintentionally swallowed. The gritty texture caused abrasions on his throat. Which he would most definitely complain about later. Probably after the sandstorm passed. Sasori hoped the rough winds and the sand that obstructed their view kept steady. Because he had gotten tired of his partner's complaints. The puppet master was grateful for the sandstorm because it concealed them. They had a mission to complete after all.

The ten tailed cat's moods twisted and turned. He never stopped on one emotion for too long. From content to irritated, then angry back to content to bored. It was a whirlwind that never ended. Madara was truly grateful when he locked the demon away. Otherwise, he would have actually had to deal with the moody demon. He had a greater control over his emotions, then the immature demon. The ten tailed cat had been sent into a murderous rage. At the sight of someone so close to his mate.

Sasuke had managed to take out all his aggression on Mr. Someone. Who now hung dead from the ceiling. The skin of his torso flayed open and revealed his skeleton. His internal organ seeped out of his abdominal cavity. The muscles which held them in place had been stripped away. His hands and feet had been cut off. His eyes had been pulled out, bloody tears rolled down his cheeks. His blood dripped onto the floor with a soft melody. Mr. Someone's final moments of life were spent in terror. He had clawed at his own neck and kicked helplessly. As the noose slowly crushed his windpipe and he choked on his blood.

Naruto enjoyed the crisp night air. As he watched the streams of moonlight that danced with the leaves. Occasionally a nocturnal critter would call out. But the night was otherwise silent. He made sure his confidential files were secure. Before he lay down on his sleeping bag. He had opted to go without a tent. So he could view the starry sky. His dreams soon turned into nightmares. All of which focused on his pink haired teammate. He tossed around in his sleep as if he fought with an enemy. Soon the sun sent the night away. He slowly continued his journey.
