"Wakey wakey, you little criminals"
Emerald felt someone push her awake in her bed. She tried ignoring it and went back to rest, until she felt something fall on her face. Finally Emerald hoisted herself up, and removed whatever fell on her off her face. As she picked it up, she noticed that it was her standard olive-colored crop top, on top of her other casual clothes. She looked up to see someone in a black organization 13 coat
"Oh good, you're up. It's about time" the member spoke in a woman's voice
Emerald didn't immediately recognize the voice "Cinder?"
"Do I sound like Fall Maiden?" The coat walked up to Mercury's bed "You get up too, buddy"
"In a minute, Max. David got stuck in the meatloaf again" Mercury slurred, clearly having a dream
"Oh for god's sake, wake up!"
The organization member didn't hesitate in both pulling off the blankets, revealing his yellow shirt and red pajama bottoms, and pushing him off the bed. Good news, Mercury was wide awake
"Who the hell has the nerves?" Mercury got up, still dazed from his sleep
"Get ready, both of you"
Emerald and Mercury noticed a certain black haired woman in a red dress was right behind the black coat
"Cinder, what's going on?" Emerald asked as she got out of bed, showing off her dark green night gown
"Yeah, it's like super early in the morning, isn't it?" As Mercury got back up, the other organization member threw him one of his boots on his head
"It is, but you got special front row seats to the big show, you don't want to miss it!"
"What show?"
"The train crash, of course"
"What?" Both of the criminals were surprised to say the least
"Cinder, what's she talking about." Emerald, still confused, asked
"Just get dressed" Cinder commanded "Let's just say that today is a big day"
It felt like hours had past for Ruby, even though it was only a few minutes. Her throat was scratched from all the screaming, her legs grew tired and hurt from laying on the hard concrete for too long, and her heart ached as Ansem continued this treatment of his. The only things that didn't slow down or hurt were the tears rapidly falling down her face. She still refused to let these jerks win, but she still prayed the pain would stop soon enough
"Your endurance is commendable, but you cannot stop the darkness from taking control" Ansem continued to add pressure onto Ruby's darkness
"Can I make a really quick request" Torchwick spoke out
"Perhaps"
"Could you try to make it sound like it hurts even more? I'm already enjoying this, but I feel it could be slightly better"
"I can try to concentrate more" Ansem said as her applied more pressure onto his hand
Ruby started screaming even louder, practically ruining her voice at this point. If her legs weren't broken at the moment, she would run up to Torchwick and beat him senselessly
"That's the sweet spot"
"Sir, I got you that popcorn you asked for" Perry walked past Ruby to give his boss a bag of popcorn
"And this is the icing on the cake" Torchwick took the popcorn, patted Perry on the back, and opened the bag "Can't get much better than this"
Before Torchwick could even grab his first piece of popcorn, an explosion was heard ahead of them, which caused him to drop the bag on the ground
"Dammit" Roman cursed as he he had a feeling of what was coming "Perry, if you and the boys could take care of that? I don't want to miss a second of this"
Perry nodded his head and gathered 2 other soldiers to check it out. They didn't step more than 6 feet before another explosion filled the caverns
"What is going on here?!"
Before Torchwick's question could truly be answered, more white fang grunts showed up, running from or shooting whatever was coming
"They're here" Ansem spit under his breath
Out of the smoke of the explosion came a group of familiar people to Ruby. Doctor Oobleck, Weiss, Yang, Lea, Kairi, a dual keyblade wielding Sora, even her corgi Zwei. She couldn't turn her head to see them, but she could tell some form of rescue was here
"Ruby!" Yang called out to her sister
"Ansem!" Sora called out to her captor
"That's as far as you'll go!" Ansem stopped what he was doing to Ruby for a second "You won't stop me from eradicating this girl's precious light!"

Out of his chest, Ansem summoned a strange monster. This monster was incredibly bulky with grey and purple marks all over it's body. It had cold, piercing eyes, teeth that looked like they could bite solid rock, several antenna coming from its head, a ghost like tail, complementing its ability to levitate and fly, and a huge heart shaped hole in its lower torso. As fast as Ansem summoned the creature, it swooped in while preparing an attack. Sora and Yang rolled out of the way, but the rest were knocked back by the force of its punch. As they got up, the monster made it clear it wouldn't let them join Yang and Sora
"What is that thing" Weiss asked, fear starting to crawl in her legs
"Consider it Ansem's personal guardian" Lea answered as it screeched at the group
"Sora, Yang, we got this" Kairi assured those ahead of them "Go!"
Without even giving a second thought, Sora and Yang booked it down to Ansem to save Ruby. The path to him wasn't clear just yet, as Torchwick and several white fang members started shooting at the raging duo. They were able to evade all of their attacks before Sora plunged both his keyblades into the ground and summoned a small tornado that made its way towards the enemy. Torchwick and the white fang were literally sweped off their feet by the strong winds and were scattered across allover base. The path seemed clear, but Sora couldn't shake off this feeling that there was still trouble. He found he was right, as on his left, Young appeared out of nowhere preparing to slice both their heads off with his clock themed keyblade. He lunged towards the duo ready to attack, but Sora was able to block the attack in time. Young jumped back and started shooting little bullets at Sora, but he was able to block them. Sora saw Yang was about to go and attack him back
"Go help Ruby!" Sora commanded "I can handle this! Go!"
Yang only hesitated for a moment before realizing Sora was right. Young saw the yellow haired girl was running towards Ansem. Determined to stop her, he extended his keyblade like a whip and flicked it towards Yang. Sora was just fast enough to let the oblivion keyblade get caught by the whip instead. Infuriated by the action, the organization member tried throwing Sora away with the whip, but as soon as he was flung, Sora dashed back to Young and started lashing his dual blades towards Young, who was able to evade or block them all. Despite this, Young wasn't worried. If it was all up to that girl, victory would be easy
Yang rushed over to Ruby and Ansem, ready to punish the latter for whatever he was doing. Ansem didn't seem to do anything to stop Yang, but wasn't paying too much attention to Ruby either. He just stared at the blonde brawler, like he was waiting for something. Well Yang was about to give him a good punch in the face. That is, of course, until something hit her leg and she tripped and rolled on the ground. As she got up, she saw a sickeningly familiar one eyed sniper with a pony tail
"Well, well, well. And than there was one" Xigbar mocked Yang "And here I thought this would be a challenge"
"Trust me, you're going to have a hard time stopping me!" Yang shouted as her eyes went red
She tried going for a punch, but Xigbar evaded it. She went for another, and he evaded again. Once more, and after he evaded it again, he kicked her back, pointed both his pistols at Yang and shot a strong combined attack, knocking Yang off her feet. As he chuckled at the seemingly helpless girl, Yang could feel the power building up in her thanks to her semblance. She went for another punch in the face, but he disappeared into thin air. Before she could find where the organization member was, Yang felt another blast from the right that knocked her away once more
Xigbar started calmly walking towards his opponent with little concern "Yeesh, I was hoping for at least a little bit of a worthy back bone. Oh well. Ansem, try and wrap things up will ya?"
"Of course" Ansem extended his hand back out at Ruby
He once again added some pressure to his hand, and whatever he was trying to do it worked once more. Ruby started to scream with what little voice she had left. Yang saw how much pain her sister had to go through with these guys and got incredibly pissed
"Hang on Ruby, I'm coming" Yang said as she rushed towards her sister
Xigbar appeared back in front of her face and kicked her hard enough to make her stumble towards the other way. Than, when he back was turned towards him, Xigbar shot another blast right in the middle of her back, knocking Yang face first onto the ground. As she started to pull herself back up, she saw that the others continued their battles. Weiss, Oobleck, Kairi, Lea and even Zwei continued fighting Ansem's guardian, and Sora continued his battle with Young
"Not so fast, hot shot. We're just getting started" Xigbar encouraged Yang to fail once more
At this point, she just wanted these guys out of the way. No matter how hard she had to try, she'd get back at Xigbar eventually. After that, she'd save her sister
Kairi blocked a punch from the guardian, but was still hurled back. She was able to ground her feet and used the strike raid technique to throw her keyblade at the heartless, but it blocked with one of its arms and it only barely did any kind of damage. From its left, Weiss got the guardian's attention by sending ice shards, but they still didn't do much. On its right, Oobleck used his weapon's flamethrower, but the guardian again only really considered it an annoyance. Speaking of annoyances, Zwei leaped up on it's back next. When the monster turned around, Zwei barked and growled with all his puppy might. The guardian was about to smash its head, which seeing this did cause Zwei to whimper, but Lea zoomed in and instead of hitting a puppy, the guardian hit solid ground. Lea had barely made it out with Zwei, and he let the corgi out of his hands to run free
"I appreciate your enthusiasm" Lea spoke to the dog "But you should really leave this bad boy to us"
Zwei started barking louder as Lea felt a presence behind his back. He knew it was the guardian. He turned to see the heartless was firing some sort of energy disk at him, so Lea's instincts made him summon one of his charkrams and block the attack. As the guardian began to throw another disk, Lea threw his charkam to counteract and destroy the attack. It worked but it did send the weapon higher up that he expected. Lea threw the other half of his eternal flame right in the monster's face, jumped up and used the guardian's head to jump higher and grab his weapons. Before he could even look down, the guardian grabbed Lea's leg and hurled the ex-organization member towards Oobleck. The doctor ducked under the human body heading in his direction, but wasn't expecting the guardian to punch him right after in the face. The heartless simply floated over how half of his opponents were already kneeling on the ground
Weiss stopped this short lived victory, however, but rushing over, slapping the tip of her blade down to the ground, and encased half of its body in ice with her glyphs. She back flipped out of the way so Kairi could used Blizzaga to in case its free arm into ice as well. It seemed to work fine for a moment, but the monster was able to summon enough strength break through both magic and dust and slammed both fists on the ground, creating a shock wave heading for them both. Weiss used her glyphs to jump above the attack while Kairi simply guarded against it. As soon as Weiss landed on the ground, the guardian swung its back knuckle at the ice queen, sending her back, and started heading for Kairi next, Kairi tried shooting blasts of light at it, but it was heading for her so fast it practically negated the attack as the guardian cupped its fists and swung up to Kairi's jaw and sent her back flying. The guardian almost hit her again as soon as she hit the ground, but was able to roll behind it, allowing her get a moment to try and shake off the damage with cure spell
"This thing is as durable as a brick" Weiss commentated
"Yeah and hits just as hard to boot" Kairi added on
The guardian turned back towards the girls and got ready to unleash another attack. However, it was interrupted by a blast of fire magic. The girls turned to see Lea was up again, pointing his keyblade at the heartless. The smoke from the fire cleared to show the monster hadn't changed at all. It simply floated there with the same cold yellow eyes as before. There was a hint that it was starting to get annoyed, however. Before it could do anything, it was met with even more annoyance as magic blasts started hitting it in the back. Kairi, Weiss and Lea looked ahead to see Sora's battle with Young was still going strong with their magic and energy attacks flying everywhere. Sora fired some thunder and fire magic at Young, but the organization member disappeared, allowing the magic to hit the guardian again. Young appeared behind Sora and with the flick of a wrist sent him flying backwards. Sora was able to pull it together just before hitting the guardian and spin around so that he'd jump off the creature's back and up into the air, forcing the guardian to hit the ground
"Excellent reflexes Sora" Oobleck had also recovered, getting a thumbs up from Sora, but the guardian also started to get up "As for you children, don't let this creature's defenses intimidate you. Keep fighting back until it's over" the teacher pointed his flamethrower as the rest of his students also got back into the action
Sora descended back down to Young, with both keyblades crossed to attack. Young blocked the attack and pushed Sora back
"Balloonra!"
Sora suddenly summoned a bundle of ball shaped balloons. Striking the bundle with the oathkeeper, he scattered them all towards Young. He was able to block one balloon, but the force of the popping staggered him and he felt the full force of the rest of the attack. Sora than sprinted towards him with a ring of fire surrounding himself. Young also took that, along with several other slashes from Sora's dual keyblades. He was able to pull himself together, though, and telaported right behind Sora. He extended his keyblade into a whip and lashed out blue energy slashes at Sora. As the keyblade wielder of light took the damage, the keyblade wielder of darkness wrapped his whip around Sora's leg, spun the boy around and than proceeded to send him flying into the air, where Young jumped up and attacked while he was unable to properly defend himself. After a couple of slashes, Young kicked Sora into the ground and rushed down to continue his onslaught
"Wind!"
Sora quickly recovered and coated himself in a ball of air, which was strong enough to slow down Young's decent back down
"Thundaga!" Sora pointed his oblivion keyblade at Young
The organization member was soon met with a bolt electricity. Sora jumped up to Young's level and released his air ball as a strong gust of wind that sent Young flying backwards. Sora didn't have time to think that did it, though, as several tiny bullets started flying towards him. One hit Sora, and suddenly he was starting to move slower in time. Young used this chance to slash his blade several more time, as the keyblade's chosen was unable to react in time or counter attack. After an incredibly long and, on Sora's part, painful barrage of melee attacks, Young jumped back and summoned blocks of ice and pointed them at Sora. Sora was able to move at a regular time once more and blocked the ice chunks that headed straight for him. Afterwards, he pointed both oathkeeper and oblivion at Young and shot a dual beam of light at him. Sora seemed to hit something at least, as an explosion was caused by the collision. Sora took a moment to cast a small cure spell on himself, and was ready for even more
Unfortunatly for him, in the blink of an eye, his cloths changed. His master form had run out, and his cloths went back to normal. The smoke started to clear and Sora could see that Young was able to block the light beams just in time. Whether it was from a spell or the keyblade alone, Sora was unsure. All he knew was that he wasn't effected by much from his attack
"It seems your time has run out" Young noted the absence of master form "Now maybe things will be much easier"
"I don't need a change of cloths to beat you!" Sora readied his kingdom key "Besides, all that matters is Yang saving Ruby at this point"
"The girl?" Young looked at the brawler and how she struggled to hit the constantly disappearing and reappearing Xigbar "If that's your last hope, than this was easier than I though. Face it, she's nothing to us. Her sister will fall, no matter how much you all plead. You should have listened us, Sora"
"She'll prove you guys wrong! We'll all prove you wrong!" Sora charged head first towards the organization member
Yang was starting to get more frustrated than by the second. Never in her life was she filled with a more annoyed feeling than this very moment. Every time she came close to laying a finger on him, Xigbar just vanished into thin air, and whenever she was super wide oped, Xigbar fired off some of his rounds. Just like he did just now
"Come on, kiddo, give me at least a small challenge" The sniper taunted the brawler
Yang fired a bulled from her gauntlets, but Xigbar vanished once again. When he reappeared this time, he was floating upside down in the air. Yang would be shocked by this if she wasn't pissed as hell. Her semblance had given her an incredible boost in power at this point, so if she could get at least one hit in him, he'd probably be knocked out for a month. Just one hit was all she needed, so she continued firing more bullets from her Ember Celicas. Xigbar was able to avoid all of the blasts, and wasn't even trying at this point. Yang would try to think of a better strategy, but her mind was just so focused on showing this jerk up and saving her sister if he let her.
There was a brief moment where she ignored her rage and did come up with a small strategy. She looked back at how much agony her sister seemed to be in and the man who was the reason for it, Ansem. She knew she had one bullet left in this specific round currently in her weapons. Her semblance would probably give the blast a great amount of power at this point, probably enough to stop whatever this guy was doing to his sister. Xigbar could move freely, but Ansem seemed to stay in one place the whole time. Maybe she'd have a better chance with a foe in place rather than a constant teleporter. Plus, even if Xigbar some how got in the way, he'd have to take the hit right? Yang didn't really care which one she hit, she just needed to save her sister at all costs.
So, psyching Xigbar out, Yang fired her last round at Ansem. To Yang's surprise, Xigbar was fast enough to get in the way of this attack, but he also had his snipers pointed at the fire ball. Suddenly, a huge explosion ignited from the final round, with some covering up the general area. Yang was positive that she succeeded in hitting Xigbar, which meant all that was left now was to save her sister, she just knew it.
That was until a tiny red bullet shot out of the smoke and hit Yang on her left shoulder. The smoke cleared and Yang saw that Xigbar was a tad it taken back, but was still relatively calm
"Dang, that was a close one" For once, Xigbar complemented the huntress "It'd probably be trouble if I was too slow on my reaction time"
Having no choice, Yang opened the ammo in the Ember Celicas, allowing the empty shells to scatter on the ground, and reach behind her for a new round. Xigbar wasn't going to just let her reload as fast as him though, as her zoomed up and, rather than shoot Yang, hit her with the ends of his guns, followed by a kick to the gut that also sent her back. Even without their weapons these were surprisingly strong. But as soon as Yang reloaded, she'd find a way to turn the battle around. She tried reaching for more ammo, but nothing, even though she defiantly brought plenty. As she searched, she did feel a hole in where she personally kept it. She looked back on the ground to see 6 rounds scattered across the ground, with Xigbar standing over 2 of those rounds
"You were trying to hit me with these things?" Xigbar deduced, which was followed by a laugh "Man, if you want to try and fight us, you got to stop using amateur hour attacks" The organization member pointed his weapons at the ammo below his feet
Yang didn't want to wast a bullet until she had gotten a clean hit off. So with that mindset taking over, she tried rushing towards and pummeling Xigbar one last time, but as always the free shooter teleported. Yang couldn't find where he was, but she could still feel him around. Suddenly, a bullet hit her in the arm. Than another hit her on her leg. Than in the back of her head. Than her chest. Than her other leg. Than her spine until suddenly bullets came flying everywhere, each and every one of them hitting Yang head on. She couldn't even see where Xigbar was firing from. Soon her vision was only met with red flying everywhere. Than it stopped, but Yang still din't have a moment to rest. she tried using this time to look for Xigbar, and soon found him hanging in the air high above behind her. He was charging some kind of attack with both of his snipers. Yang could feel the pressure of how strong this attack was, but she knew if she could block it, she'd be fine. She guarded herself and was ready
What she wasn't ready for, though, was for Xigbar to teleport again before her fired it. Just as soon as he vanished from her point of view, she felt a presence creep up just a few feet behind her
"Take this!" She heard the voice of the one-eyed sniper
She only had enough time to quickly look behind her to see the black cloaked man fired a bigger, stronger, purple arrow this time before the attack made contact with her back, which caused a much bigger explosion than any of the other bullets. Yang was sent flying face first into the ground, and was having a hard time getting up from that one. She examined herself and saw a yellow energy flow around her body, and vanished as soon as it appeared. Her aura, she had run out of it. And that last barrage from her opponent really made trying to get up hurt. Probably why she couldn't

"From what I've head, your semblance is a strong one" Xigbar made his weapons disappear into light "If you hit me after any combo i did to you, I would have been in some serious trouble. It's a shame you aren't up to our level. But that does make things much easier for us"
Yang tried to shut him up, but the pain was still too strong. She didn't have time for her aura to come back and patch it all up, she needed to get him now
"It's over, Yang" Xigbar started talking more seriously than he usually did "You've lost. All you can do is sit there while we finish this whole mess up. You gave it your all, but did any of you think you actually had a fraction of a chance. Those are some high expectation, but they're met with crippling disappointment" Xigbar turned back to Ansem 'How much longer?"
"Not long at all. Mere minutes away at this rate" Ansem answered as he tried even harder
Ruby hardly had any voice left at this point. The pain in her chest kept growing and growing. She tried begging for someone, anyone, to help end this nightmarish pain. Anyone, Zwei, Weiss, Blake, Oobleck, Kairi, Riku, Lea, Sora...
"Y-YANG!" Ruby wasted the last of her voice on a plead for help
Suddenly, Yang felt a spark of energy. Something primal was burning inside her that gave her the strength to finally get up. She still felt a lit of pain. But she ignored it and let her fiery determination lift her back up
"Leave her alone" Yang spoke in a cold, calm, yet angry voice
"Haven't you learned anything at this point?" Xigbar called back one of his guns "Try as you might, you can't save her from"
Yang turned back to the organization member, with a deadly look in her eye
"I SAID LEAVE MY SISTER ALONE!"
Her her firsts started eminating flames. Instincts caused Yang to extend her arm back like she was about to throw something. She made the pitch, and out of her palm came a ball of fire the headed right towards Xigbar
"WHAT?!" Was all Xigbar could bring out before the fire made contact with him
A gigantic explosion was caused from the attack, creating smoke an a strong wind to scatter. Even Ansem needed to break his hold on Ruby to cover his face from the aftermath. It sent Xigbar flying past the seeker of darkness and he rolled several feet away. The attack knocked him out cold as, while he didn't seem to be killed, he wasn't opening his eyes or getting up. Ansem looked back at the girl to see a bit different about her. Both her fists were emanating the same fire as before, her hair waved like a flame, and her red eyes leered at Ansem with a scowl across her face. This energy. It wasn't like the other huntsmen and huntresses the organization had encountered on this world. She had run out of ammo, yet she somehow blasted Xigbar with fire. Not just an fire, either. A fire that seemed similar to Ansem. Like this fire was...
"Magic?!" Ansem realized what this energy from Yang was "I-impossible! We were told magic hasn't existed for eons! Has his influence spread towards you already? This shouldn't-"
Before Ansem could pradle on, he felt a headache take over, as he hunched down to try and calm it. Yang had no idea why he was like this, but she didn't care for it, nor the fact that that energy she was feeling was starting to vanish. Ansem was wide open, her sister was safe, and she still had her semblance activated
"You're next, pal!"
Yang grabbed one of her rounds, threw it into her right Celeca, and rushed towards Ansem. It was over for the organization's plan, the huntresses and keyblade warriors had won. Or so it seemed. But Ansem's growing toothy smile said other wise. Like Yang, he extended his arm behind himself as a dark energy forged around his hand. He seemed to be holding onto something that was turning solid. He found his tight grip on the object...
And plunged it right into the heart of Ruby Rose. Yang stopped any movement. Her eyes turned back to normal at the horrifying realization of what happened. Ansem was holding some kind of weapon that he was currently using to stab her sister with right in the chest. Ruby looked back to her sister and reached out for some sort of help, her terrified look in her eyes could easily able to haunt her sister. Ansem pulled the weapon out of Ruby's chest, as a small orb of light left the body. The second it left, Ruby's eyes closed as her body fell down to the weight of gravity. Yang could feel her whole body trembling. Her legs gave it as she scooted to her sister. She grabbed her sister's shoulders and tried weakly shaking them to see her move willingly, but nothing happened. She continued to remain in her lifeless, sleep like state as tears started slowly running down the older's eyes
Sora panted for air her her fell to his knees. He looked up at Young who was also quite exhausted, though not as much as Sora. Young was defiantly a strong opponent, but he wouldn't give up just yet. Not until they were good. Sora glanced back to see how Yang was doing, only to find Yang inches away and Ruby collapsing as a light orb left her body
"RUBY!" Sora, in realization, called out
He heard a small chuckle come from Young. The organization member had troubles straightening his back as he readied to leave, but not before giving Sora a small smile of victory
"What was that about proving us wrong" Young mocked as her vanished into a corridor of darkness
Sora didn't have time for any remarks against him. He rushed towards Yang and Ansem to see Yang coddling the lifeless looking Ruby as the heart went up to the skies. Ansem opened up his arms, like he was welcoming a hug, his weapon sticking out for Sora to see
the guardian heard it's master's call. He ignored the tired out group of Weiss, Kairi, Lea, Oobleck and Zwei back to his master. As the group watched the monster return to it's summoner, they could make out a red cape in the arms of a yellow haired girl and a light orb ascending above them
"RUBY!" Weiss called out to her partner, fearing the worst
Weiss and the others started rushing towards Sora, Yang, Ruby and Ansem, preying what they think just happened didn't happen. By the time they were heading towards the group, the guardian had returned to Ansem's chest
"A keyblade!?" Sora called out the weapon he held
Ansem brought his weapon up to his face and examined it. It was indeed a keyblade. It sported a sinister looking black and red color scheme, with the stem being quite plain yet long, its teeth were incredibly sharp, sharper looking than any other keyblade Sora had used on remnant yet, and its red handle was shaped like a heart, but with the top and right corners having some sort of diagonal line connected to the stem. Ansem's grin grew even wider
"Yes" He spoke with an eager and deep voice "At long last, a keyblade to call my own. Quite fitting it should resemble the old keyblade comprised of the hearts of the princesses, wouldn't you agree Sora?" As he continued looking at his new tool, Ansem's grin started to go down "Though, if it took this long for me to receive my blade, it will take time for the others. Even still, no matter what happens this day, a new step towards the keyblade war shall be taken"
Sora heard some footsteps behind him, and saw Weiss, Kairi, Lea, Oobleck and Zwei all run to Yang and Ruby. A part of Sora wanted to make Ansem pay. He wanted to break his keyblade in half and tear his guardian piece to piece. But a bigger part of him needed to join them and check his friend. He did just that. Ansem heard some painful grunts behind him. He turned to see Torchwick and some white fang members, slightly dazed from their little encounter with Sora, but they managed to pull themselves together to see all of little red's friends circle around her unconscious body
"Ah man, did I miss the big moment?" Torchwick, clearly bumbed out, asked
"How long can you get ready?" Ansem dropped the subject
"Huh?"
"How long until this train is ready to go?"
Torchwick thought for a moment "Well we don't have everything ready right now. The actual bombs aren't even wired yet, and there's less than a dozen of the beta-"
"Than don't bother with everything else" Ansem interrupted him "Just get the crew to their stations and get moving"
"But what about the bombs?" One dear white fang member asked
"Do you want to get everything finished with them around?" Ansem pointed to the group of huntsmen, huntresses and keyblade wielders
"... Fair enough" Torchwick agreed and turned to the soldiers behind him "You heard the man, get this thing rolling asap!"
Torchwick and the white fang all fell back to make sure everyone else was in their places. Ansem meanwhile opened up a corridor of darkness and was about to step through. But not before giving one last look at the mourning group, specifically the still dumbfounded brown haired keyblade wielder closest to him
"Sora" He gained the attention of said boy "Consider this your first failure" And like that, the organization member left into the portal
Sora ignored the man, and continued to examine Ruby. Yang tried feeling a beat in her sister's heart, but didn't feel anything. She simply just laid in her elder's arms, unable to open her eyes, and had no reaction to the tears flowing down from her friends
"No, no no no!" Yang choked up "This can't be happening! Not again! Not again!" she buried her face into her deceased sister's shoulder, not caring if her tears stained her cloths
Weiss tried shaking her partner's side to get something, anything out of her "Come on, this has to be a prank, right Ruby? It's just one of your stupid jokes" Weiss started shaking more ferociously "It isn't funny, so stop it! Stop it Ruby!"
Kairi tried pulling Weiss away from doing anything else to the lifeless body, but kept clinging onto her. The princess did eventually succeed and tried comforting the ares with a tight hug, to which Weiss didn't hold back any tears. Oobleck simply stood over his student, took off his hat and glasses, and just stood there in silence. Sora keeled down to Ruby and grabbed her hand, feeling the same amount of pulse as Yang did. Tears also started falling down his face
"I'd rather let you see my whole life story than to have let this happen to you" Sora said as he brought the limp hand up to his forehead
Zwei jumped up onto her legs, and seemed to just rest on them. He seemed to know what happened and mourned in his own little way. Lastly, like Sora, Lea knelled down, but he simply placed some fingers onto her boots, getting the same results as everyone else. He, as well as Kairi and Sora, knew what Xemnas was talking about earlier, but it still didn't make any sense. Why was Ruby so special. Why was she needed to become a nobody. Did they need her heartless? Some empty vessel for Xehanort to shove his heart into. What did Xemnas mean by not wanting to spoil the surprise? These questions and more started raising as he tried figuring out the most basic of whys
Those thoughts started to cease as he saw her boots were starting emanated a white, black and grey aura that was familiar to Lea. The aura slowly started making its way up to Ruby's legs. Zwei and Oobleck took not, and Weiss, Kairi, Sora and Yang did as well. This strange aura at fist didn't seem to do anything except crawl up Ruby's whole body. She still seemed normal, until Sora saw it flow up to her hand. He saw that her skin color was starting to change, not to something besides white, but it became a lot less pale than she usually was. Sora eyed her sleeping face to see if the same would hold true for it. As the aura raced up, the color change did indeed follow. The group couldn't watch the rest of the process, though, as soon a bright light came from Ruby, blinding each of them
The light shortly faded, and they all saw that her entire body changed to this color. Nothing on her cloths or cape joined in this change, but her her also changed. Not by much, other than the fact that all of her red highlights were gone, showing a full black color. Her chin, too, had changed a little, becoming less rounded and more sharper. Looking at her really closely, it still sorta looked like Ruby, but there was more different to her than before
"W-what happened?!" Yang asked, more than confused as to what just transpired
"My word, never in my years have I seen anything like that" Oobleck admitted
"Neither have we" Kairi also admitted
Something started to spark in Lea as he looked over the changed Ruby. This new form looked strikingly familiar. And that's when it hit him, and he couldn't believe it. He quickly rushed next to Yang and took her face. He closely examined it and was getting even more familiar vibes. It couldn't be. It was impossible. There was no way this could be real...
but it was
"Xion?"

welp. That happened. Yeah, I'm sure some of you expected that to happen with all the context clues, but still. Wow. Ok, going back to that later, there were some fun fights to write
Ironically, my favorite fights to write were in the order they came. The guardian fight was the most fun with how bulky it was and the comined magic of Kairi, Weiss and Lea, the second fight wasn't as fun, but it did feel good to have Sora fight Young after everything he went through in dream drop distance. amd Yang's fight, well... it was a one-sided fight against a guy who could telaport, so veriaty was honestly limited with that one
We also got a reveal with Yang using magic, that was cool to write. Also, does anyone not know who that other organization member is. I feel like I made it obvious, but you never know honestly. Bonus points also if you know what Mercury was dreaming and why
And, yeah like I said last time, Ruby is Xion, with a third reveal behing that Ansem has a keyblade now. I hope I emphasized enough how much pain Ruby went through the whole thing. Not that I want anything to happen to our precious child in cannon, but there was a strange sick enjoyment i got with descriping everything Ruby went through. Those parts were defiantly my favorite parts to write. Not much to talk about anymore. I mean, obviously i'm lying, there is a big elephant named Xion we need to talk about, but i want to save the explaining and exposition for a later time
If you want more to talk about, how about the new kh3 trailers. Not much for me to really say. I mean i'm glad we're finally seeing more on the kingdom of kerono, it's cool that chi is getting a part in the story, Vexen and Demyx have an odd scene, Haner is a dummy for attacking Ansem, climax looks epic as hell, and it's cool whinnie the poo is coming back (though of all the direct to dvd disney characters, the hephalump from Roo's hephalump adventure is not one i would expect and i thought the last we'd see of him would be that one kids show where poo, tigger and that darby girl solved mysteries. Maybe we can see some disney fairies in the future than? maybe? please?) but not much outside of that. Not that they were bad trailers, it's just that there wasn't much they showed that i wasn't expecting. I knew Terra and the lingering will would come back, we were told early on we'd be fighting the original baymax, and I had a good feeling that all the enemies of the game would come together in the end. I feel like a part of that is because the Aqua reveal was such a ball dropper because nobody expected it. The ending of Fragmentary Passage ended on a somber, but at the same time hopeful note. Yeah, the darkness found cracks in her heart, but we never expected it even still. I am a little worried that they're holding off on something big because of that, and i have no idea what it is. For all we know, they show Kairi getting norted in the next trailer, or the worlds blowing up and i don't know if i can take it. Also Xehanort sound a little off. I know we don't have Lenard Nimoy anymore, but his replacement just doesn't feel is invested or as fun
Also i want you guys to know right now that i don't have a RT first membership. I wait for Rwby, as well as other shows like Nomad of Nowhere, Camp Camp, RVB ect. I wait for the episodes to be made to the public, which i realize is very dangerous now that we have to wait a full week before episodes are made free. That also means i'm an episode behind first memberships. That also means i don't want any spoilers of the next episodes. At this point, the first 3 episodes of volume 6 have been released to the public, with the fourth on the way. So please don't be that guy who ignores this and spoils whatever the next episode has. I'm more than happy to discuss the episodes after the first week when they're free, but i don't want to go through new or moderate reviews and see spoilers. Just needed to get that out of the way so i don't have to learn, i don't know, Ozpin owes Salem 5 backs, or Nora bought a pineapple after the train. So please, no spoilers. As for the episodes we have right now, I loved them. I mean, i'm one of the few people out there who was able to enjoy volume 5, but it seems like RT is listening to criticism and letting fights, for now, go mostly uninterrupted with fast past action, less things happening because plot, and are giving us an answer to Ozpin and Salem. I loved them all so far, and I'm eager to see the rest of the volume. Maybe now we can also stop hearing Miles being the scum of the planet? Probably not, but a man can dream. So with all that said, lets go through some reviews

JGWI1383: Glad you liked it. I chose Weiss for that moment over Yang for a few reasons, but one in particular is giving her some ties with the crossover. I mean, Blake is getting shipped with Riku, Yang after all of this is going to at least try to comprehend what happened to and comfort her sister, and Ruby turned out to be a character from the other series. Weiss didn't really have much before hand, outside of support, which doesn't sit well with how prevalent of a character she is. The only other thing she'll get for a while is a little something from Winter when she shows up, but beyond that she was just kinda there for a while. That moment with Xemnas, as well as an upcoming fight with another organization member gives her more of a role and motivation to add onto what she set out in the show. Plus I feel Yang takes things more personal, while Xemnas was being very general towards all huntsmen and huntresses, insulting their culture and pride, which I feel Weiss would take more offence too that either Yang or Blake. Also Yang has been known to take hits while Weiss has been shown to be more frail in terms of defense but still great in offence, so I feel the kick to the gut felt more powerful. You're going to love the next chapter if you love those 2 than
Kh fan: That Weiss part seems to be a fan favorite so far. As for Adam, he'll have a big reveal with a nort, but I don't have plan to turn him into a nort. I mean the organization is already complete, so there's really no need to add anyone else unless Xehanort is looking for more backups. I mean he very well could, which might explain why Vexen and Demyx are back even though Even was revived in Dream Drop Distance and if we decide to include them there are defiantly more than 13, but backups aren't something I plan on including, at least right now. Like I said, she ain't turning into a nort. Maybe if something happens to her in KH3 i'll consider it, but as I've said before, she is completely forgotten in the real game so i'd have several questions if she did. I do plan on an Adam vs Riku fight during the fall of beacon. Hard to say right now considering we know almost nothing about Salem at the moment, but I'd say Xehanort wins in brain and strategy but, from what we've seen, Salem wins in power. Both have an era of intimidation though, so it's still hard to tell
