"Grandpa!" Alyssa squealed when she saw Nikita stepping out of the car and she ran up to him.
"Hey Alyssa," Nikita replied and gave Alyssa a hug.
"Are you coming to spend vacation with us grandpa?"
"Yes I am, if that's alright with you?"
"Of course grandpa."
Callen and Kayla had asked Nikita to join them on their second week of vacation.
"Hey dad," Callen spoke as he walked up to them.
"Hey son, thank you for inviting me."
"Of course. Alyssa, can you show grandpa to his room?"
"Yes daddy."
Alyssa pulled Nikita towards the cabin as Callen grabbed Nikita's bag. Alyssa pulled Nikita through the cabin and into the bedroom.
"This is your bedroom grandpa. My bedroom is right next to yours and mommy and daddy's is across the hall and Allina and Amelia's in on the other side of you. And Mike and I have a bunk bed. I sleep on the top one."
"That's nice."
Nikita put his stuff away and joined the family outside.
"Hey Nikita," Kayla greeted him.
"Hey Kayla. Hey Mike."
"Gwanpa," Mike said and ran up to Nikita.
Nikita picked him up and gave him a hug. "Hey buddy, did you have a nice time so far?"
"Yes, we went to zoo."
"That's nice. And I see you're making sandcastles."
"Gwanpa help."
Nikita walked with Mike to the beach and helped him build a sandcastle. Kayla put down the twins for their afternoon nap a little later. Kayla sat on the porch so she could hear the twins if they started crying. She looked out to the beach and saw Callen and Nikita playing with Alyssa and Mike. She was happy for Callen that he had found his father. Callen had finally let him in. Alyssa and Mike loved to have their grandpa around, he was good with them. It had been Callen's idea to invite Nikita along on their vacation.
About two hours later the twins woke up from their nap. Kayla got them dressed again and fed them before taking them back outside.
"Hey there are my two little granddaughters," Nikita spoke as she saw Kayla walk up to them.
Nikita took Amelia from Kayla. "Hey Amelia, did you have a nice nap huh?" Nikita tickled her tummy causing Amelia to laugh. "You're such a little cutie. She's looks a bit like Amy when she was a baby."
"Yeah people say that they have a lot from G."
"I think that has to do with the blue eyes."
"Oh yes they have bright blue eyes just like G. That's was actually one of the first things I noticed about G when I met him."
"Yeah, he has always had these bright blue eyes, just like Clara. Amy had them too."
Nikita sat on one chair holding Amelia and Kayla sat on the other one holding Alina. Mike was coloring at the table and Callen and Alyssa were playing in the water together. Nikita watched as his son played with Alyssa.
"He really is a great daddy," Nikita stated.
"Oh yes he is. The best I could ever ask for. In the beginning he wasn't sure if he would be a good daddy considering he never really had a stable family. But he really is a great daddy, the kids adore him."
"How long were you together before you had Mike?"
"About 3 years. It happened a few months after we had gotten married. We were both so happy when we found out I was pregnant. We had been trying for a few months already but with no success. It came as a surprise that I was pregnant. I didn't think it would happen for us. And now we even have twins."
"Yeah you have a nice family here. It's nice to see that Callen treats Alyssa like his own even though he's not her biological father."
"Yeah I know, I'm very happy about that. He's her daddy. Callen and Alyssa got along from the start. Alyssa even asked if Callen would be her daddy when we told her we were getting married."
"I can see that he really loves his family. It's good to know that he has a family, especially after everything he's been through. I wish I could have been there for him."
"You're here for him now. I know he didn't have it easy as a kid but he turned out okay."
"Yeah I can see that. And I think for a big part that's because of you. You gave him a beautiful family."
"Yeah I'm very lucky to have him."
"I think that goes both ways."
A little later Callen and Alyssa came out of the water. They sat around the table and played a game. Mike played together with Kayla. When the game was over Alyssa and Mike went inside with Callen to get cleaned up. Kayla took the twins inside and put them in their swing chairs as she got dinner ready. Nikita helped put Mike and Alyssa in bath. Just as the kids came out of the bath dinner was ready. The whole family sat down to eat. Alina and Amelia sat in their swing chairs next to the table but they were having none of it. They wanted to be at the table. Kayla put their bouncy chairs on the table and Callen placed them in the bouncy chairs. Now the twins were calm again. After dinner Nikita helped Callen feed the twins and get them ready for bed. Kayla cleaned up while Alyssa and Mike watched TV. After the twins had been fed and burped Callen and Nikita took them to their room. Callen and Nikita rocked them in their arms till they had fallen asleep. Carefully they placed them in the cribs.
"They are so cute," Nikita whispered.
"Yeah they are. I'm so lucky to have them, Kayla, Alyssa and Mike."
"Yeah you have a wonderful family son. I'm glad you have a family of your own."
"Yeah me too. I can't imagine my life without them and I'm glad you're a part of it now too."
"I'm glad about that too son."
Quietly they left the room and Callen closed the door. The family sat on the couch for a little while watching TV before it was time for Mike to go to sleep.
"Gwanpa take me," Mike said.
"Alright buddy."
Nikita put Mike on his back and walked to Mike's bedroom. Nikita tuck him into bed.
"Stowy Gwanpa."
"Alright, which one?"
Mike pointed to a book that was lying on the floor next to the bed. Nikita took the book and started reading. By the time the book had finished Mike was already asleep. Nikita gave him a kiss and walked back to the main room.
"Mommy, can I play a game with grandpa before I go to sleep?" Alyssa asked.
Kayla looked at her watch. "If grandpa wants to, a little game okay."
"Okay. Grandpa, do you want to play a game with me?"
"Of course sweetie."
Alyssa walked to the closet and grabbed a game. She picked Clue. She sat at the table with Nikita and grabbed the stuff from the box.
"You're gonna have to explain this game to me, I don't know this one," Nikita said.
"It's very easy. Three cards will go in this little box. We can't see which cards. And we have to guess who killed the person with what and in which room. We are each one person and we move around the board. Each square is one move. I'll show you." Alyssa threw the dice and picked a pawn to walk across the board. She could go into a room right away. "So now I'm in this room and then I grab another person and I switch an object and then you look in your cards and show me one card, so either a person, an object or a room. Like I said 3 cards will go in the little box and the rest will be divided between us. We then cross those off on our card so you know which ones you already have so you won't go into that room and don't grab that person and object. The other person can't see your card, otherwise they would know which cards you have. And then when I show you one card you cross that off too till you have one open from each category. That's the solution that is inside the box. Who gets that first will win. If you don't have something to show the other person that person can go again."
"Okay I think I get it."
Alyssa put the cards together per category and shuffled the stacks. With the picture sides down, she grabbed a card from each stack and put it in the little box. That box when in the middle of the board. The other cards were put together on one stack and equally divided between Nikita and Alyssa. They both picked a pawn and started the game. Alyssa could start.
Kayla and Callen watched as Nikita and Alyssa played the game. Kayla grabbed the camera and took a picture.
"She's really good at this game," Kayla said.
In the end it was Alyssa who won.
"Alright Alyssa, clean up the game and then it's time for bed," Kayla spoke.
"Can grandpa bring me to bed?"
"Sure."
Alyssa cleaned up the game and Nikita brought her to bed.
"We have to be quiet for your little brother," Nikita whispered before they went into the room.
Alyssa quietly got into the bed and Nikita tucked her in.
"Can I read a bit grandpa?"
"Sure, just for 15 minutes okay."
"Okay grandpa. Can you hand me my book please?"
"Sure."
Nikita picked the book off from the ground and gave it to Alyssa. He gave her a goodnight kiss.
"Goodnight Alyssa."
"Goodnight grandpa."
He looked at Mike and he was sleeping peacefully in his bed. Quietly Nikita left the room and closed the door.
"I told her she could read for 15 minutes, I hope that's alright," Nikita told Callen and Kayla.
"That's fine. She always reads a bit in bed before going to sleep."
"Okay."
They sat around in the living room before going to bed.
"Your dad is great with the kids," Kayla told Callen.
"Yeah he is. I'm glad we invited him along. The kids love it."
"Yeah they do."
…
The next day they went to the Kings beach miniature golf. Callen rented clubs and balls for everyone, except for the twins of course. The twins were in their stroller. With the clubs, balls and paper to write the scores on they started the first hole. Alyssa went first. After Alyssa had done her turn Callen helped Mike. Callen, Kayla and Nikita participated too. They had a lot of fun. At one point Callen had to dive into the bushes to find a ball Alyssa had hit. It was with the hole where they had to try to get the ball into a net.
Kayla took some pictures while they were there. In the end it was Callen who had won. They gave the clubs and balls back and had lunch at the restaurant that was there. They loaded everyone into the van and drove back to the cabin. They just lounged around the cabin for the rest of the day.
…
Today Kensi and Deeks were taking Donna to Casitas water adventure. It was a big open air swimming pool. Donna loved the swim. She really was a water bug just like Deeks. Kensi was sure that when she was old enough she would want to learn how to surf. When they got to the swimming pool they changed into their swim suits and found a place near the kids' pool to put their towels down. Donna immediately wanted to go into the water but Deeks stopped her.
"We have to put your floaties on sweetie."
Deeks inflated her floaties and put them on her arms. Kensi put some sunscreen on her before she went into the water. Kensi stayed on the lounge chair while Deeks and Donna played in the jungle gym there was for the kids.
"Mommy," Donna yelled a little later.
Kensi looked up and saw Donna standing at the top and she was waving at Kensi. Kensi smiled and waved back. She watched as Deeks played with Donna. He was such a great daddy to Donna and he would be a great daddy to their little boy. Donna went down every slide they had and climbed over everything. It wasn't that high so Deeks could just stand next to it.
"Daddy, can I go down that slide?" Donna asked pointing to the big slide.
"Maybe we're you're a bit bigger sweetie."
"I am big giwl."
"Yes you are sweetie," Deeks replied with a smile. "But for that slide you have to be a little bit bigger. We can go in the inner tubes if you want."
"Yay."
"Shall we go ask mommy if she wants to join us too?"
Donna got out of the water and ran up to Kensi. "Mommy go with us."
"Go where sweetie?"
Donna looked and Deeks. "What daddy?"
"The inner tubes."
"You wanna go in the inner tubes?" Donna nodded. "Alright, let's go."
Kensi and Deeks took Donna by her hands and together they walked to the lazy river. The waited in line till it was their turn. Deeks helped Kensi into an inner tube before he got in another one with Donna. Donna sat on Deeks' lap as they cruised along the river. The river was decorated with plants and waterfalls. Deeks and Donna went underneath a waterfall. Donna didn't go underneath with her head but Deeks did.
"Daddy wet," Donna laughed.
"You think that's funny?"
"Yes daddy," Donna laughed.
Deeks put Donna on the side of the pool before getting out himself and after that he helped Kensi get out. They stayed at the pool a little longer before going back to the bungalow. Kensi got Donna in bath while Deeks went to make the pizzas. When Donna came out of the bath and was dressed in her pajamas the pizzas were ready. Deeks cut Donna's one in little pieces. She finished her entire pizza. Deeks took her over to the couch while Kensi cleaned up and read her a story. Kensi looked over to the couch. Donna was snuggled up to Deeks and was listening intensely to the book as she looked at the pictures in the book.
"Alright time for bed," Deeks spoke once the book had ended.
Deeks picked Donna up and carried her to the bathroom to brush her teeth before taking her to her princess bedroom.
"Goodnight little princess," Deeks said as he gave Donna a kiss and tucked her in.
"Niwt daddy."
Deeks turned the night light on and turned down the big light before leaving the room and closing the door.
"She's already asleep," Deeks spoke when he joined Kensi on the couch.
"Good. She had a busy day. She just loves the water."
"Oh yes she does." Deeks bent down and placed a kiss on Kensi's stomach. "How's our little boy doing today?"
"He's doing fine."
"That's good. And how's mommy doing?"
"Mommy is doing fine as well. Little bit tired and I have sore feet."
"I can help with that."
Deeks pulled Kensi's feet on his lap and started massaging them.
"Hmm Marty, that feels good, thank you."
"You're welcome honey."
Deeks massaged her feet for a while before he suggested getting a hot bath together. Deeks filled the tub and put some soap in it. He got in first and helped Kensi in it. Kensi sat with her back against Deeks and Deeks had his hands on her stomach. Deeks softly stroked her stomach and he smiled when he felt the baby move beneath his hand. Kensi lay relaxed in his arms. Kensi was sure she would fall asleep if they stayed like this for long. Suddenly her eyes shot open when she felt Deeks' hand in between her legs.
"Marty honey, what are you doing?" Kensi asked surprised.
"I can stop if you don't like it."
"No please don't stop."
"Okay." Deeks moved his head down lower and kissed her neck. "You're so beautiful," Deeks whispered in Kensi's ear. Kensi moved backwards so she was very close to Deeks. Deeks grunted when Kensi started to move her hips. Deeks didn't have to do much to have Kensi quiver in his arms. Once she had come down she turned around and straddled Deeks' lap. She kissed him deeply as she moved down on him. It felt so good making love in the water. The water splashed over the edge of the tub as they moved. Kensi had come twice more before Deeks put her on all fours in the tub and moved in front behind her. Kensi came twice more before Deeks joined her. He grabbed her waist and pulled her down with him in a sitting position again and finished them. Kensi collapsed down against his chest.
"That…..was…..so…good," Kensi uttered.
"Oh yeah it was, totally."
"Thank you Marty."
"You're welcome Kensi."
"I love you."
"I love you too."
They stayed in the tub until they had regained their breaths. Deeks went out first and cleaned up the water that had spilled on the floor because of their movements so Kensi wouldn't slip. When it was all dry he helped Kensi out of the tub.
They dressed in their pajamas already and just sat on the couch watching some TV before going to bed.
They had just fallen asleep about an hour ago when there was a loud scream in the house.
