ElvenPrincess01: What's up, Fanfiction Universe? Man, it is good to be back!
Riku: Let's hope you stay back this time…
ElvenPrincess01: …
Riku: …
ElvenPrincess01: Is it so hard to be nice to me?
Riku: Alright, alright. It's good to see you back, ElvenPrincess01.
ElvenPrincess01: Thank you, Riku! I appreciate it. Anyways, I've really been working hard on this chapter and the next chapter. I planned to split the adventures that Team SRK experience in the next world into two chapters, but when I was writing the story, I couldn't figure out where I wanted to end the first chapter. I didn't want to have a long first chapter and a very short second chapter, or vice versa, so I just decided to write the whole thing out and then split it up accordingly. It made things much easier that way. That's why chapter 23 is coming a little later than I initially expected from when I wrote that author's note.
Riku: It didn't help that you didn't work on the story for a few days last week.
ElvenPrincess01: Hey, I was busy. Good news is that since chapter 24 is basically already done, you guys won't have to wait long for it. And I've already more or less planned the next three chapters so hopefully it won't take me long to post those.
Riku: I'll hold you to your word.
ElvenPrincess01: Funny, that's what Sora said at the end of chapter 22. Anyways, do the disclaimer, will you?
Riku: ElvenPrincess01 does not own Square Enix, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, or Disney in any shape or form. Thank you.
ElvenPrincess01: On to the story! In 3, 2, 1…

Previous Chapter
"You mean this Even guy can just manipulate people's memories?" Sora asks in disbelief. "Just like that?"
"Yep…And now he's going to do it all over again to Xion. After she betrayed him like that, he'll probably implant some memories in her to make her blindly loyal to him or something." The thought depresses me all over again.
Riku has been silent the entire time, his arms crossed over his chest in his trademark pose as he took everything I said in.
"Well," he finally says. "There's nothing we can do. If this Even guy went through a Corridor of Darkness like you said, then it's impossible to track him now. He could have gone anywhere." He drops his arms to his sides. "We'll just have to hope that we run into him again soon. Right now, we need to get back to the Gummi. I don't know how long we've been out, and Chip and Dale are probably wondering where we are."
I hate to admit it, but Riku is right. There's no point in staying here.
I just hope I'll be able to save Xion sooner than later.
Chapter 23: Walking In A Winter Wonderland
"Is the Gummi ship ready to go?"
"Yep! We can take off whenever you guys are ready!"
"Perfect."
As soon as we board the Gummi, Riku quickly heads over to the driver's seat and sits down.
"Hey, why do you get to drive?" Sora complains.
"Because you don't have the best driving record and I would like to get to the next world in one piece," Riku responds, already pressing buttons on the control panel.
"I have a great driving record!"
"Oh really? Would you like to remind us why we ended up here in the first place?"
Sora doesn't have a rebuttal for that.
I giggle quietly to myself as Riku starts up the Gummi ship, the engines whirring. Seconds later we're in the air and speeding off to our next destination, whatever it may be.
A comfortable silence descends over the cockpit, leaving me to my own thoughts. I can't help but think about Xion. I can see her bright blue eyes clearly in my mind. I just can't believe I lost her. I thought I could rescue her but I failed.
The thing that scared me the most was that Even could erase her memories again, erase me from them. I wanted to find her, I needed to find her…but would she even remember me?
"You okay, Kairi?" I look over to see Sora's concerned eyes trained on me.
I attempt a smile. "Yeah. I just wish I could have helped that girl back there…"
Sora smiled at me. "Don't worry. I'm sure we'll run into her again."
"Yeah, but when? And where?"
"I don't know. But you just have to stay positive, okay?"
The soft, gentle tone of Sora's voice relaxes my nerves and I find myself smiling back at him. "Okay."
A very familiar beeping rings out in the cockpit, followed by Chip saying, "A new world has just been spotted!"
"What's the name?" Riku asks Sora.
"Looks like…Arendelle."
Seconds later, we approach a belt of asteroids. Riku flies almost perfectly through the asteroids, avoiding them like it's merely child's play.
He looks over at Sora with a smirk on his face. "See, Sora? That's how you pilot the Gummi."
Sora huffs. "I could have done the same thing too…"
I'm about to laugh until I see a large asteroid hurtling towards the Gummi ship.
"Riku, look out!"
Riku immediately refocuses his attention forward and sharply jerks the controls to the left. The Gummi swerves to the left, but Riku moved the ship just a split second too late. The asteroid hits the bottom right of the ship and jolts us around. I grab onto my seat so I don't go spilling out.
Buzzing noises go off all around the Gummi ship. "We've been hit!" Chip yells over the speakers. "We're going down!"
"Not again!" Riku exclaims as he tightly grips the controls, struggling desperately to keep the ship in the air.
It doesn't do any good. The Gummi ship breaks through the cloud barrier as it hurtles straight towards the ground, which gets closer and closer with each second.
"Brace for impact!" Riku shouts.
I do what he says and wait for the inevitable. The Gummi clips the side of a tree and then we go crashing down.

Clank! "Good!" Clank! "Good!" Clank! "Excellent!"
Yuffie and I were in the postern in Hollow Bastion sparring with one another, my Keyblade clashing against her giant shuriken.
As I kept deflecting her moves, I let out a deep sigh. "Can we take a break? My arms are getting tired."
"You think the Heartless are going to let up just because you're tired?"
"Well no, but…Seriously though, I need a break."
Yuffie stopped attacking me. "Okay fine," she relented. "We can take a break. You're coming along pretty good with your Keyblade training."
"Thanks."
"But…" Yuffie bends down low in a quick motion and sweeps my feet from out beneath me, causing me to fall onto my back.
"Oof!" The wind got knocked out of me.
"You still have a lot to learn," Yuffie grinned down at me.
I scowled slightly as I rose to my feet. "That's not even fair. Heartless don't use hand-to-hand combat. Why would I even need to guard against something like that?"
Yuffie shrugged her shoulders. "The Heartless may not be able to use hand-to-hand combat but they may not be your only opponents. You might have to fight against people like me or Leon. It would be in your best interest to learn a few combat moves."
I sighed. "I guess you're right…"
"Excellent! Time for combat seminar!"
My jaw dropped. "But I thought we were taking a break!"
Yuffie laughed with gusto. "Break time is for wimps!"
"Seriously, Yuffie?"
"Put your Keyblade away. We have work to do."

My eyes flash open. I see a dark sky
I sit up, wincing slightly from aches all over my body as I scan my surroundings. The entire area is covered in snow. It litters the ground, the trees, everywhere. It's like a winter wonderland. But I don't see Sora, Riku, or the Gummi anywhere. The impact from the Gummi crashing onto the ground must have knocked me out of the ship.
"Sora?" I call out. "Riku?" I get no response.
"Sora! Riku! Chip! Dale!"
Still nothing.
I get to my feet, rubbing my hands up and down my arms in a futile attempt to generate some heat. Wearing sleeveless attire isn't exactly doing me any wonders.
Just when I'm about to try calling for my friends again, I hear a girl's voice in the distance. "Help!"
I turn around on the spot, having no clue which direction the voice is coming from.
"Help! Someone help me!"
It sounds like she's to my right. I hope I'm right as I scurry as fast I can over the snow, which isn't very fast considering how deep it is.
Just a few seconds later, the girl screams again, and her voice sounds a lot closer than it did before. I'm going in the right direction.
Eventually, I see a girl lying on the ground. She's surrounded by several Shadows.
"Hang on! I'm coming to help you!" I quickly summon my Keyblade into my hand.
The Shadows turn their attention towards me when they see me approaching and try attacking me, but they're no match for me. I make easy work of all of them.
I check the area for more Heartless, but I don't see any. I put away Destiny's Embrace.
"Oh, thank you so much!" The girl says to me. She gets to her feet, dusting her long skirt off. "I thought I was a goner. What were those things anyways? And how did you make that weird-looking weapon materialize out of nowhere? That was amazing!"
"Those were Heartless," I answer. "They steal people's hearts. And that 'weird-looking' weapon was a Keyblade, the only thing that can completely vanquish the Heartless. I can make it appear out of thin air."
"Really?" The girl's turquoise blue eyes widen in excitement. "Wow, that's so cool…Oh, my name's Anna by the way," she smiles at me.
"I'm Kairi. It's nice to meet you, Anna," I smile back.
"Oh my gosh!" Her eyes rake my body. "You must be freezing! What are you doing out here?"
"My friends and I got separated and I can't find them. I've been trying to find them."
"I'm looking for someone too. My older sister, Elsa. She engulfed Arendelle in an eternal winter and I have to find her so she can change it back," Anna says in a worried tone. "I came out here to search for her, but when those things attacked me, my horse got scared and it threw me off and bolted."
"How did your sister engulf Arendelle in an eternal winter?"
"With her ice magic."
"Wow…" I breathe. To engulf the entire place in an eternal winter? "That must be some pretty strong magic."
"I know. Which is why I need to find her. She's the only one who can reverse everything."
"I see…" I look at Anna closely. She's wearing a black sweetheart bodice paired with an olive drab pleated skirt and her strawberry-blonde hair is tied into an elegant updo. She looks like she just left a fancy party or something. "Hey, why don't I come with you?"
"You want to come with me?"
"Yeah, I mean those Heartless might attack you some more on your journey. You need protection. And who knows? Maybe I'll be able to find my friends along the way."
"Great!" Anna claps her hands together in glee. "I really appreciate the help."
Anna and I trudge along in the snow as best as we can. It's a little harder for Anna to move as she has to pull up her long skirt so she can walk. She's managing pretty well though.
While we walk, she tells me stories about her sister. Apparently, the two of them used to be very close when they were younger, but then Elsa suddenly shut her younger sister out, forming a rift between them. Elsa isolated herself in her bedroom and avoided all contact with Anna. Anna tried desperately to reconnect with her sister, but all attempts failed.
Anna had thought she was getting somewhere with Elsa during the latter's coronation ceremony to become queen, until the two of them got into a heated argument that caused Elsa's ice powers to come out, sparking a chain reaction that led to Arendelle getting frozen over.
"I just don't understand why she would shut me out like that," Anna frowns. "I mean why wouldn't she tell me about her ice magic?"
"I don't know. Maybe she didn't want anyone to know about it, even her own sister. We'll never know until we find her."
"I hope we can find her quickly." She groans as she hikes her skirt up more around her legs. "It just had to be snow. Why couldn't she have had tropical powers that covered the fjords in white sands and warm…fire!"
"Fire?" I repeat in confusion.
Anna points towards a trail of smoke rising into the sky from between a cluster of trees at the base of the hill we're standing on.
Nestled into a tiny snow-covered hill is what appears to be a one-story lodge made of wood. The smoke Anna and I saw is rising out of the chimney. All the lights inside are on.
The two of us walk up the steps leading to the front door and I reach up to brush off some snow covering the sign hanging above the door.
"Wandering Oaken's Trading Post and Sauna," I read aloud.
"Ooh! Sauna!" Anna exclaims in delight.
The first thing I notice when we walk inside are shelves and shelves off all sorts of items, from various bottles of different shapes and sizes to shovels and other gardening tools.
"Yoo-hoo!"
Anna and I turn to the left to see a burly man with sideburns and a mustache sitting behind the counter with a small smile on his face. He must be Oaken.
"Big summer blowout!" He tells us in a thickly-accented voice. "Half off on swimsuits, clogs, and a sun balm of my own invention, yah?"
"Uh, great!" Anna smiles nervously. "But for now, how about winter boots and dresses?"
Oaken points over to a corner of the store where two dresses, two pairs of boots, a rope, and an axe lie. Anna and I look at each other. It's not much of a winter department. It's not even a department. More like a nook.
Anna picks out a dress with a dark blue medium-length skirt with a black bodice and a light blue long-sleeved blouse. That leaves me with the dress with a sky-blue medium-length skirt, a red bodice, and a white long-sleeved blouse. It's not really my style but it's better than walking around with my arms and legs exposed to the cold.
"I was just wondering," Anna says as she brings her dress up to the counter, "but has another young woman…I don't know, the Queen perhaps…passed through here?"
"The only people crazy enough to be out here are you too."
The front door suddenly opens, and a tall and muscular guy stands in the doorway. He's covered head to toe in fresh snow.
"You two and that guy," Oaken says. "Yoo-hoo!" He calls out to the newcomer. "Big summer blowout!"
The newcomer ambles over to the counter and looks down at Anna.
"Carrots."
"Huh?" Anna says in a confused tone.
He leans closer towards her. "Behind you."
"Oh, right," Anna laughs nervously before she steps aside. The guy grabs the carrots and throws them on the counter before moving onto to the meager winter department. He picks up the rope and the axe.
"A real howler in July, yes?" Oaken asks. "Where could it be coming from?"
"The North Mountain," the guy responds.
"The North Mountain…" Anna says quietly to herself.
The guy places the rope and the axe on the counter next to the carrots.
"That will be 40," Oaken tells him.
"Forty? No, 10?'
"Forty and I'll throw in a visit to Oaken's sauna."
The guy starts to get a little frustrated, if the tone in his voice is any clue. "Look, 10 is all I got. Help me out."
"Okay." Oaken pushes the rope and axe off to the side and pushes the carrots towards the guy. "Ten will get you this and no more."
Before the guy can respond, Anna takes several steps forward towards him so she's standing right behind him. "What was happening on the North Mountain? Did it seem magical or anything? Anything unusual?"
"Yeah, yeah, yeah!" The guy almost growls at her. "Do you mind? I'm trying to deal with this crook here."
Oaken slowly rises to his feet, hulking over us. He's a lot taller and a lot bigger than I thought he was. The three of us have gawk upwards at his enormous figure.
He glares menacingly down at Kristoff. "What do you just call me?"
Seconds later, Oaken is carrying the guy out of his shop under his arm. He tosses him out into the snow like he's tossing out a sack of potatoes.
"Bye-bye!"
Oaken calmly walks back to the counter and takes a seat behind it, smiling politely once more like nothing happened.
"I'm sorry about this violence. I will add a quart of lutefisk, so we'll have good feelings. Just the outfits and boots, yah?
"Uh…" Anna trails off. She looks down at the rope and axe still on the counter, then out the window. "Give us a moment, please?"
Anna pulls me off to the side. "I think that guy can get us up the North Mountain," she whispers to me. "That's where Elsa ran off to."
I glance out the window. "Maybe, but he didn't really look all that friendly. How are we going to convince him to give us a lift?"
"Simple! We give him what he wants."
xxxxx
As soon as Anna and I leave Wandering Oaken's, we look around to see where that guy went off to. He couldn't have gone far.
"Look! Over there!" Anna points her figure towards a barn, where I catch a glimpse of the guy disappearing inside.
We trudge across the snow towards the barn and push open the door. The guy sits up from the hay he was just lying against when we push the barn door open.
"Oh, it's just you," the guy says in an uninterested voice. "What do you want?"
"I want you to take us up the North Mountain," Anna responds.
The guy immediately lays back on the hay and pulls his hat over his eyes. "I don't take people places."
"Hey, I don't think we ever got your name," I intervene with a smile. "My name's Kairi, and this is Anna. And you are…?"
He sighs. "Kristoff. And like I said, I don't take people places."
"Let me rephrase what I said earlier…" Anna tosses the bag of supplies into Kristoff's lap.
"Oof!"
"Take us up the North Mountain. Please."
Kristoff opens the bag and his eyes widen slightly when he sees the rope and axe inside.
"I know how to stop this winter."
Kristoff sighs before lying back on the hay and pulling his hat back over his eyes. It doesn't look like he believes Anna's words, so I'm a bit surprised when he says, "We leave at dawn…And you forget the carrots for Sven."
Anna tosses another bag at him, except this time it hits Kristoff right in the face.
"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to…" She clears her throat and stands up perfectly straight, looking every bit like she's in a position of authority. "We leave now. As in right now."
Before Kristoff can respond, she turns around smartly on her heel and strides out of the barn. I follow her.
As soon as we're out of earshot, she exhales, her shoulders slumping slightly. "How was that?"
"Good. But do you think he's really going to take us up the mountain right now?"
"Of course. We gave him exactly want he wanted."
A little while later, Kristoff, Anna, and I are on Kristoff's sled, his reindeer named Sven pulling us across the snowy terrain at a brisk pace. Kristoff wasn't kidding when he said they liked to go fast earlier.
"So, what exactly made the Queen go all ice-crazy?" Kristoff asks.
Anna sighs, looking forlorn all of a sudden. "I just wanted to know why she shut me out all those years, why she kept pushing people away. I got mad, then she got mad, and then she tried to walk away, and I grabbed her glove…I mean she wore gloves all the time, I just thought she had a thing about dirt, but I never guessed she was hiding ice powers…"
While Anna is explaining the situation to our new companion, my eyes scan the surroundings rapidly passing by for any sign of Sora, Riku, or the Gummi. But all I see are green trees and white snow.
And then I see something off in the trees to the left of the sled. A flash of something black. Like Sora's clothes...
"Stop stop stop!" I shout. "Stop the sled!"
Kristoff pulls on the reins and Sven comes to a stop. "What? What is it?"
My eyes search the snow-covered trees, trying to find what I thought I saw in the darkness. I was sure I had seen Sora but I can't see him anymore.
"Sora? Riku?"
There's no response. I sigh deeply.
"You mind telling me what's going on here?" Kristoff asks.
"I thought I saw my friends," I say glumly."
"You're looking for someone too?"
"Yeah but—"
Before I can finish my sentence, a small group of Air Soldier Heartless materialize all around us, hovering in the air.
Kristoff nearly falls off the sled. "What are those things?!"
"Heartless!" I shout. "Go!"
Kristoff yanks the reins and Sven takes off, faster than he was running before. I look over my shoulder. The boost in speed does nothing to throw off the Air Soldier Heartless. They're nearly keeping up with us.
"What the heck are these things?" Kristoff asks again.
"They're Heartless. They like to steal people's hearts."
"Wait, I thought those things that attacked me earlier were Heartless," Anna says in confusion.
"Those were also Heartless. They come in all different shapes and sizes."
"So, there's different types of Heartless?"
"Pretty much."
"Then how—"
"Hey, less talking, more attacking!" I look over to see Kristoff delivering a solid kick to an Air Solider that drifted too close to his side.
Anna grabs Kristoff's lute and swings it around, striking another Heartless in its face.
"Wow, nice hit," I say. She grins at me.
An Air Soldier swoops in and knocks Kristoff of the sled.
"Christopher!" Anna calls out.
Fortunately, Kristoff manages to grab the loose rope hanging from the back of the sled, getting dragged behind in the snow.
"It's Kristoff!"
"Hang on, Kristoff!" I summon my Keyblade into my hand.
Kristoff's eyes bug out, like most people do when they see a Keyblade being summoned for the first time. "Whoa, how did you—What are you going to do with that?" He asks as I grab my Keyblade with both hands and point it upwards.
"Thunder!"
Multiple lightning bolts descend from the sky and strike the Air Soldier Heartless, dissipating most of them into darkness.
"Huh," Kristoff grunts. "That's a neat trick."
One of the three Air Soldiers who managed to avoid getting struck by the lightning bolts swoops in low towards Kristoff, rearing for an attack.
"Crap, I missed those."
"I got it!"
I stare at Anna as she takes the torch and lights a rolled-up blanket with it. She raises it above her head and throws it at the Heartless. "Duck!" The blanket hits a Heartless squarely in the chest, just missing Kristoff.
Kristoff starts crawling up the rope. "Are you insane?! You almost set me on fire!"
"But I didn't!" Anna and I grab hold of him once he's near us and hoist him back onto the sled.
Sven makes a series of noises and our eyes are drawn straight ahead. There's a cliff in front of us.
"Get ready to jump, Sven!" Anna calls out to him.
"You don't tell him what to do." He picks up a satchel and shoves it into her arms before picking her up.
"Hey!" She protests.
"I do!" And he tosses her right onto Sven. Before I can say, "I can jump", he picks me up and tosses me onto the reindeer right behind Anna.
"Jump, Sven!"
Sven leaps into the air and glides over onto the other side. The impact almost knocks Anna and I off Sven's back but we manage to hang on.
We quickly jump off Sven's back. Kristoff is just barely hanging on to the cliff.
"Hang on!" Anna shouts at him as she ties an axe to a rope that she attaches to Sven.
I'm just about to go help her when I see the last two Air Soldiers swooping in towards us.
"They just don't know when to quit," I mutter.
I wait until they're near me before I lift my Keyblade into the air and yell, "Thunder!"
More lightning bolts descend from the heavens and strike the Heartless, making them disappear into nothingness.
By this time, Anna and Sven have rescued Kristoff and he's lying on his back in the snow.
"I just…paid that sled off." He holds his face in his hands.
"I'll replace your sled and everything in it," Anna smiles in an attempt to reassure him.
He groans before he covers his face with an arm.
"I, uh, understand if you don't want to help us anymore." She starts to walk off sadly. I look after her, then at Kristoff, then back at Anna. I follow her.
"Do you have any idea which way the North Mountain is?" I whisper to her.
"Hmm…" She looks around. "I think it might be this way," she says as she points straight ahead. "Or maybe…" She points to the right. "This way?" She looks back and forth between the two directions she just pointed out. "I think, actually, it's up."
"You don't have any idea where the North Mountain is, do you?"
"No clue," Anna admits without any hint of hesitation or shame.
"Hold up, we're coming!" Kristoff calls from behind us.
"You are?" Anna excitedly asks as Kristoff and Sven walk forward to join us. She clears her throat. "I mean, uh…Sure! I guess we'll let you tag along!"
With no sled, we're forced to continue towards our destination on foot. Night eventually turns into dawn, the sky colored in beautiful shades of red and orange. I don't spend much time watching the sunrise though. I keep my eyes peeled for any sign of Sora or Riku somewhere along the snow-filled landscape, but I don't see a sign of either one of them.
I frown. If something bad happened to them, I wouldn't be able to help. I hope they're fine wherever they are.
I'm ripped out of my thoughts when I hear Anna gasp. She's standing off to the side, looking over the side of the hill.
I join her at her side to see a large castle completely covered in ice.
"Arendelle," she says softly.
"It's completely frozen," I remark.
"But it'll be fine. Elsa will thaw it," Anna says with clear assurance in her voice and eyes.
"Will she?" Kristoff doesn't sound so sure.
"Yeah. So, uh…This way to the North Mountain?" Anna timidly asks as she points straight ahead.
Kristoff chuckles and steps forward, moving her pointed finger upwards. "More like this way."
My jaw drops as I glimpse the top of the mountain peeking out from behind a curtain of clouds.
"It's all the way up…there?" My voice rises a little at the end in trepidation.
"Yep. Afraid of heights?"
"Well I can't say I'm particularly fond of them…"
We continue our journey, eventually stumbling across a forest covered in snow and ice. The sunlight reflects off the ice, making everything seem like it's sparkling.
"Wow," Anna breathes as she gazes around at the beautiful scenery. "I never knew winter could be so beautiful."
We all freeze in our tracks when a voice starts speaking out of nowhere. "Yeah! It really is beautiful, isn't it? But it's so white. How about a little color? I'm thinking like maybe some crimson, chartreuse. How about yellow?"
I look around frantically. The voice doesn't sound frightening or intimidating, but that doesn't mean the owner of the voice can't be.
"Yellow and snow? Brrrr...no go!"
A small snowman almost suddenly seems to be standing in between us. "Am I right?"
Anna screams and kicks the snowman's head off where it goes sailing right into Kristoff's arms.
"Hi!" He beams at Kristoff.
"You're creepy," Kristoff says, and he tosses the head to Anna.
"I don't want it!" She tosses the snowman's head to me.
"Uh…" I take one look at the snowman before throwing it Kristoff's way.
He tosses it right back to Anna, who squeals in fright.
"Come on, it's just a head," Kristoff says.
"Alright, we got off to a bad start," the snowman says. His headless body is running around with its arms waving around in the air.
"Ew, ew, the body!" Anna shrieks, and she throws the head onto the snowman's body. Only it lands upside down.
"Wait a minute. What am I looking at right now? Why are you hanging off the earth like a bat?
Anna lets out a little sigh before she scurries over to the snowman. "Alright. Wait one second." She reaches down and readjusts the snowman's head so it's right side up again.
"Oh! Thank you!" He grins a buck-toothed grin, the snow around the top of his mouth resembling a buck tooth.
"You're welcome."
"Now I'm perfect. It was like my life got turned upside down—Wooh!"
"Oh!" Anna exclaims. She had taken a carrot from her satchel and accidentally slammed it all the way into the snowman's head between his eyes. The tip of the carrot pokes out between his eyes. "That was too hard. I'm sorry, I was—"
"Are you kidding me? This is wonderful! I've always wanted a nose!" He tries to grab the little bit of carrot sticking out between his eyes. "It's like a little baby unicorn."
Anna pushes forward the carrot sticking out of the back of his head.
"What? Hey! Whoa! I like even it more now!" He exclaims happily.
"Alright, now that that's been settled, let's start this whole thing over. Hi everyone! My name is Olaf," he says with a wave. "And I like warm hugs."
"Olaf?" Anna repeats the name like she's heard it before. A couple seconds later, a wave of realization crosses over her face. "That's right. Olaf."
"And you are?"
"Oh, I'm Anna. This is Kairi," she says as she gestures to me.
"Who's the funky-looking donkey over there?"
"That's Sven."
"Uh-huh…And who's the reindeer?"
"…Sven." Anna, Kristoff, and I share looks.
"Ohhh…Oh they're both named Sven. That makes things easier for me."
"Olaf, did Elsa build you?" Anna asks.
"Yeah. Why?"
"Do you think you could show us the way?"
"Yeah. Why?"
"I'll tell you why," Kristoff says. "We need Elsa to bring back summer."
"Summer?"
"Yep," I say.
"Oh, summer! I don't know why but I've always liked the idea of summer and sun and all things hot."
I frown at Olaf in confusion. I'm guessing he doesn't know what happens to snow when in heat.
Kristoff is thinking exactly what I'm thinking. "Really? I'm guessing you don't have much experience with heat."
"Nope! But sometimes I like to close my eyes and imagine what it would be like when summer does come." He closes his eyes and giggles, already lost in his sun-filled fantasies. He starts singing a song to himself.
"I'm going to tell him," Kristoff smirks.
Anna gasps, slapping him on his shoulder. "Don't you dare!"
"In summer!" Olaf belts out loudly. "So, come on! Elsa's this way!" He starts walking off, a little bounce in his step. "Let's go bring back summer!"
"I'm coming!" Anna scurries after him.
I scurry after her. "Wait for me!"
Behind me, I hear Kristoff mutter, "Somebody's gotta tell him…"

ElvenPrincess01: Let it go! Let it go! Can't hold it back anymore! Let it go! Let it—
Riku: Dude, that song is so overplayed.
ElvenPrincess01: Maybe. But it's still a good song.
Riku: If you say so…
ElvenPrincess01: I don't know if you guys noticed it or not, but I kind of cut Hans out of the story, for two reasons. The first reason is that if I kept him in the story and tried to follow what happened in Frozen, I would have to change some of the ideas I had for the next chapter, which I couldn't do because, well, I just didn't want to do things that way.
Riku: And reason number 2…?
ElvenPrincess01: Hans is a jerk and he has no place in my story.
Riku: No argument there.
ElvenPrincess01: Thanks for reading! Feel free to leave a review and/or subscribe! See you real soon!
Riku: Later.
