John sat on the bed with his head lowered. He knew his love for Sheamus had caused Randy troubles but how could he ever choose? He knew he couldn't. Randy locked up the house before he went to clean up the kitchen. He took his dad's beer downing the rest of the bottle as he went to clean everything else up. When Randy never returned John walked back downstairs. He heard movement in the kitchen so he headed that way, seeing Randy was alone.
Randy had already finished the one bottle & was working on the rest of John's when the older man returned to the kitchen. John could tell by Randy's drinking he was upset and the younger man's body language. "I'm sorry, Ran. I know you and your parents are tight." He said quietly. "I take it they left on bad terms."
"Something like that." He stated somewhat bitterly.
John swallowed hard. "I'm sorry, Ran. I know it's because of Sweets."
"Yeah." He took another draw of the beer. His eyes stayed cast down.
John's eyes lowered a little. "You don't feel cheated by sharing me do you? You know how much I love my daddy."
"Johnny I am still with him too...just not in love with him." Randy went for another drink giving a frustrated yell throwing the empty bottle against the wall with a crash. "IT'S MY FUCKING LIFE!" He screamed out before panting from frustration.
John jumped, looking as the glass from the bottle flew everywhere. He loved the Viper side of his lover but the rage worried him. "You're right...why don't you go upstairs and relax? I'll clean this up so no one steps on glass."
Randy looked at John the anger in his gaze even of not aimed directly at the older man. "Whatever." He moved to go past John & up the steps. A distant slam was heard from the bedroom door. John tried not to feel hurt as he moved to clean up the mess. He knew how much Randy looked up to Bob and the anger was his way of getting the frustration out.
Randy sat on the edge of the bed, he placed his head in his hands. He felt John suggested he leave to prevent two things. Him drinking more or him doing something stupid to himself. John cleaned the kitchen and wondered if Randy wanted to see him or not. He turned off the kitchen light and walked up to their shared bedroom, opening the door and standing in the doorway. "You want some alone time?"
Randy shook his head. "Maybe I should've allowed them to remain in the dark." He commented his voice faintly muffled.
John moved to sit on the bed beside Randy, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Maybe...but you were honest. They would have questioned eventually why you remain single."
"Maybe." Randy stated. "Just...I don't know." Something seemed to be eating at the younger man.
"Anything else bothering you, Daddy?" John probed. "After this many years with you I can read you pretty well."
"Just...nightmares...fears I guess. Stupid that I am letting them affect me."
"About what? Coming out to your folks?" John rubbed Randy's back.
"No...more like part of the reason why I finally did it."
"Okay...so do you want to share or is it personal?" John asked, feeling like he was playing Twenty Questions.
"Sorry Johnny...I guess I am just scared about the trip. I keep having nightmares...I feel dumb...a coward that I debate asking to be removed from the tour. I don't have a good reason to give them though."
John nodded slowly. "I get that, Ran. You went through a lot of trauma last time around. If you want to stay in the states we'll understand. I can keep an eye on Sweets."
"Vince wouldn't understand though." Randy grumbled.
"Yeah...so you told your parents you were bi in case something happens over there?" Now John could see why the younger man had been so upset with how his parents left.
"Um...yeah." Randy sighed. "I guess I worried something happening & them not knowing. Like they deserved to know who their son really was."
"Nothing is going to happen, Daddy." John tried to reassure him. "We'll watch each other and be cautious."
"We can try...but." Randy gave a faint huff of breath. "It was so close last time. I had no clue what was happening till it was over. It then hit me how close it could have been to being over."
"I know, Ran but what choice do we have? We can't all three bail. Vince would have a heart attack." John sighed. "Maybe we should try not to dwell on it since we can't change it."
"I try Baby Boy...but it haunts my sleep. I am shocked I haven't woken you or Shea yet."
"I think Sweets is worried too. I'll be glad when it's over." John moved to rest his head on Randy's shoulder.
"How will it ever be over? Either he breaks, leaves us & joins them, he somehow destroys them or they...will destroy us."
"I meant the tour is over and we come back home." John sighed at Randy's bluntness. "They can't reach us over here anymore. And Sweets would never leave us to join them."
"Yeah...I guess BB." Randy rested his head against John's.
The men stayed silent a few moments before John sighed. "We can't sit around all depressed like this."
"Sorry your trip...us...got so fouled up. I am sure you would have prefered Florida."
"It's fine, Ran. I wanted to be here for you." John tried to assure him. "I just hate thinking that your folks might have lost all respect for me."
"Not just you...they can't face me being in that kind of arrangement."
"I know they think I'm playing you...taking advantage of you both." John closed his eyes with another sigh. "And I don't blame them. It does look bad. But it works for us."
"Yeah if they knew the meaning of the necklaces...fuck my pop would flip & ma would faint."
John gave a laugh despite himself. "Yeah my parents too."
"True they don't know the 'whole' picture." Randy faintly laughed.
"You know when I came out what my brother's wife said?" John chuckled. "She said 'No offense, John but I always thought you had more chemistry with Punk or Randy."
"Yeah I can see that."
John shoved Randy, feeling the mood lighten. "Smartass. I know we have chemistry." Randy grabbed John pulling him back on the bed with him. "Hey!" John laughed as he toppled backward, caught off guard. "The Viper strikes."
Randy laughed as he moved on top of John. "And what you gonna do about it?"He gave his almost famous smirk.
"Nothing." John looked up at Randy, dimples popping. "I like it that way."
"Good so do I...most of the time." Randy faintly joked before he moved to kiss John.
John kissed Randy back, trying to show his boyfriend how much he loved and desired him. When it broke he smiled up at the younger man. "Can we do the abducted rich kid role play now?" He asked hopefully. "It will be so much fun and a good diversion."
"We can try Babe...not sure how easily I can get in the mind set." Randy told him as he moved. "We need a few things. Proper chair...something to tie with...maybe a blindfold?"
"I want a handkerchief tied in my mouth if you have one. Like those people abducted on TV." John told him as he jumped from the bed like an eager puppy. "Because we're in a hotel room and you don't want the cops called." He walked to grab a chair from the corner window and dragged it over by the bed.
"Let me see what I can find Baby...be right back." He headed from the room heading down to the garage to look for rope. John sat on the bed, feeling his heart race from excitement and thinking how lucky he was to have two men who wanted to make him happy. Randy always seemed up for his role plays, no matter how crazy they sounded.
