A few weeks had past when an unexpected visitor turned up on Rachel's doorstep. She showed the visitors through to the living room before calling Poppy down from her room. "Poppy! There's someone here to see you." Poppy had been working on some school work that morning, so it was a welcome relief. "In the living room," Rachel directed.

"Mollie!" shouted Poppy. She came over and looked at the baby in her arms. "She's so cute! What an adorable little darling!"

"You wouldn't be saying that at 2 in the morning!" joked Mollie as she cradled the new born in her arms.

This was the first time Poppy had seen Mollie since Charli had been born. Her brown eyes twinkled in the cold winter sunlight as Poppy gazed down onto the new born. She had a few curls of light brown hair on her head and looked just like Mollie.

"Here, hold her," Mollie offered as she handed over the little bundle.

"Hello sweetheart. You're tiny! Aren't you lovely though, looking just like your Mummy!"

Poppy and Mollie chatted for a while, recapping on everything that had happened since they had been separated. Poppy and Mollie used to be joined at the hip, so there way lots to say!

"Poppy, say no if you want to, but I need to ask you this,"

"Yes?"

"I'm having Charli christened, since my Grandmother is very religious, and I'd like to ask you if you'll be her god parent?"

"Yes! Of course I will!"

"Fantastic! There's no better person to do the job! I want to ask Rachel too, do you think she'd accept?"

"I think she'd be honoured."

"Great! The christening is next week!"

"Bit soon isn't it?"

"No, I just want it to happen soon."

The girls spent the rest of the afternoon chatting about various things and organising the final parts of the christening. Poppy arranged for Mollie to stay over one night in the week so they could make sure everything was ready and Poppy could help to look after her god daughter.
