Percy's POV
After Lachlann's funeral, Eddie went straight to his room.
"This is really hard for him. I can't bear seeing him like this," Thalia said.
"His unit is his family and one of his family betrayed him. We all feel the same way towards are units and we can only imagine what he is going through," Reyna said. She had a point. We had all become very close to the people in our units over the past millennia. When someone in our units died we all felt like we had lost a brother or sister. Having to put one of your family down yourself, I couldn't even imagine the emotional pain that Eddie was going through. Thalia looked at the door to her room and walked towards it.
"You should give him some time alone Thals," I said. She looked me right in the eyes.
"Something I've learnt about Eddie in the last millennia Percy is that he hates being alone," Thalia said before opening the door. When she did the sounds of silent weeping were heard from inside and she simply closed the door behind her.
Eddie and Thalia weren't present at dinner but when we got back to the cabin they were sitting together on the couch watching Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
"Remind me again why we are watching this movie," Eddie asked.
"I thought after 1000 years it would seem comic but its still as bad as the day it was released," Thalia said disgustedly, turning the TV off. She stood up and looked through the DVD selection for another movie to watch and the rest of us sat down on the couch.
"Hey guys," He said half-heartedly. Everyone either hugged him or patted him on the back. It was odd seeing Eddie like this. He was usually light-hearted and brave. But this morning's turn of events had left him shaken and depressed. He was definitely in lighter spirits. It helped that we put 25 Jump Street on. It was pretty much Eddie's favourite comedy. We were all rolling on the floor laughing by the end of the movie. Eddie seemed a lot happier now. We watched Avengers 3: The Infinity Gauntlet and then we all decided to go to bed. Thalia and Eddie walked up the stairs hand in hand and Luke, Bianca, Zoe, Ethan, Connor and Dante followed them. Only Frank, Hazel, Rey and I were still downstairs. We just put Arrow on and eventually I decided I wanted to go to bed.
"Are you going to bed Rey," I asked her, my eyelids feeling heavy, even though I didn't really feel tired.
"I'm going to watch some more TV babe. I'll come up later," She said standing up and kissing me before sitting back down on the couch.
"I'm going to go to bed as well Hazel," Frank said to Hazel. They also exchanged a kiss before Hazel sat back down on the couch. Frank and I walked upstairs.
"Night Percy," Frank said, opening the door to his room.
"Night Frank," And with that he closed the door. I walked up the next set of stairs and went into my room. I had a really quick shower and got into some comfortable clothes for bed. I climbed into my bed and fell asleep.
Telekhines rushed around grabbing weapons and armour and giving them to other monsters. Venti galloped through the sky, lightning flashing in the storm clouds that formed them. Pit Scorpions clicked their fingers and flexed their tails. The sight of the scorpions reminded me of how Luke had betrayed me and dropped a scorpion on my hand, which had poisoned me and left me in the infirmary for a few weeks. Hellhounds ran around barking louder than heavy machine gun fire. Colchis Bulls, The Three Gorgons, Kampe, Cyclops's, Geryon, Flesh Eating Horses, The Hydra, The Chimera, Hyperborean Giants, Basilisks, Centaurs, Drakons, Empousai, Harpies, Gryphons, Katobleps, Laistrygonian Giants, Lycanthrope, The Nemean Lion, Lycaon, Scythian Dracanae, Sirens, The Sphinx and the Stymphalian Birds. It was a horrifying sight. Then I saw him. Standing in front of a heard of Colchis Bulls, some Katobleps and a pack of Hellhounds stood the Minotaur. He had his axe that was shaped like the Greek Omega was strapped across his back.
"Move out. Head for Half-Blood Hill. We will kill them while they sleep," A voice boomed in the darkness that surrounded the army. The monsters all yelled battle cries. As the Minotaur did he sniffed. His eyes narrowed in concentration. He looked right at me and yelled another battle cry. A grin plastered on his misshapen face.
I woke up in a cold sweat. Reyna was curled up next to me. They were on their way. I needed to warn the others. I went into my armoury and pressed the red alert button. Alarms blared all throughout the cabin and I knew they would be going off in the ship and just outside the cabin as well. I heard a scuttling outside the armoury and the door opened, Reyna bursting through the door. She looked at me, seeing the sweat on my face and ran to her battle armour. Previous to now we had only been wearing out assassins robes. Now we were pulling out the heavy artillery. She walked up to the casing and it opened. The suit split apart and Reyna stepped into it. (If you want to know what the suit looks like search up 'deathstroke injustice gods among us') The suit closed around her and the lights turned on. Reyna's suit was a dark maroon and a dark red. Mine was a dark green and a blue. I opened the casing and stepped into the suit as it split apart. The heads up display appeared and the suit turned on. I walked out of the casing and walked over to my weapon rack. I grabbed Riptide and his brother Waverunner. For my 100th Birthday, Reyna got the Beckondorf to make an exact copy of Riptide for me. I put them in their sheathes on my back, grabbed my semi-automatic grenadier sniper rifle. I put it on the holster that rested on my back. I grabbed my 2 SMG's and put them in the holster's that rested on my waist. I turned towards Reyna and she nodded. We walked out of the armoury, closing the door behind us. We walked down the stairs into the main area where everyone was gathered in their army.
"Erebus's army is inbound to our position. We need to get the troops in defensive positions while the campers make final battle preparations," I said. Everyone seemed surprised at this. But we still walked outside to find our troops, all wearing the same suits as us, standing outside the ship with a group of angry campers in front of them. Annabeth looked over towards us, her eyes narrowing. She stomped over.
"What is the meaning of this," She shouted. By this time all of the campers had stopped yelling at our troops and walked over here. They were know shouting things like "yeah" and "we were asleep ****heads". My helmet flew off my head so they could hear me better.
"Erebus's army is making there way to this position and will be here any minute. So if you want to die, stand around here and yell about not getting the right amount of sleep all you like. But if you want to live, go get your armour, weapons and prepare for battle," I yelled. They all became quite and looked at me sheepishly, fear in their eyes. Gradually people started running back to their cabins to gather their weapons for battle. I walked away from the few people who still remained in front of me and went to address the troops.
"If the enemy arrives before the campers are ready we need to hold them off. They have thousands of monsters at their disposal. We need every soldier we can get," During my talk with the soldiers, the lieutenants and generals had walked over and now they took the 4 different regiments to the top of Half-Blood Hill where they formed a battle formation. The campers ran around, scrambling to find weapons and armour.
"Perce. We got a battalion inbound. Minotaur in lead," Luke said over the battle suit intercom. I ran straight for the Hill and made my way through the army of Chaos. When I reached the front of the army's ranks, I found Luke and Ethan waiting for me. They pointed down the road and I enhanced the video feed so I could see. About 500 metres away, The Minotaur was leading the same group of monsters I saw him with in my dream. It only took him a minute to get to the base of Half-Blood Hill. The army became restless behind me, wanting to attack. I held my hand up, telling them to be at ease. They stood in position, waiting for my orders. I walked down the hill until I was standing only a metre away from the first monster I had ever defeated in combat, before I had even begun my sword training. I retracted my helmet and stared at him.
"Hey ugly, its been a while. A millennia if I'm correct," I taunted. He snorted through his noise, pawing the ground with his hoof.
"Let's do this," I said, my helmet flying back into place.

Will Percy beat him? Probably but who knows
