Gravity

"You hold me without touch,

You keep me without chains,

I never wanted anything so much than to drown in your love,

And not feel your rain

You loved me cause I'm fragile,

When I thought that I was strong,

But you touch me for a little while,

And all my fragile strength is gone"

-Sara Bareilles

"It's nice to see you back," Stefan said as he neared the bar, and Klaus rose an eyebrow as he watched the vampire pour himself a drink.

"Really? Now, why do I feel like you're being a little sarcastic about that, brother?" Klaus asked with a smirk and Stefan pursed his lips before he took a sip of bourbon.

"You might be onto something, Klaus," Stefan replied, with an angry stare.

Just then, Damon descended from the steps, and his eyes widened when he saw Stefan.

"Stefan, you're back," he said and his brother tipped his glass to him.

"That I am. Tara's fine, so I decided it was time to come home. Ooh, question- when were you gonna tell about this little arrangement?" Stefan asked a bit hollowly, and Damon glanced between the brothers. "We're living with him?"

"Uh... right now. Stefan, Klaus is crashing here. Time to go-" Damon said quickly, as he grabbed Klaus' arm, and Stefan stopped him.

"Where are you going?"

"To the Gilbert's; we've got some... business to handle. Damage control, if you will," Damon said, as he glanced at Klaus, who was still staring at Stefan intently.

"Yeah, those Gilbert's... they seem to ruin everything, don't they? Well, I mean, except for Jenna. She served her purpose well..." Klaus trailed off, and Stefan's eyes widened. "I'm kidding. God, do none of you small town folk know how to take a joke?"

Stefan sighed impatiently as he turned to Damon and his brother shrugged apologetically.

Just because Klaus was making amends didn't mean he was actually changing.

"Can I speak to our brother, alone, please?" Stefan asked, still eyeing Klaus, and Damon glanced between the two.

"Stefan, come on, you just got here- you wanna spare me the theatrics for two minutes?" Damon begged and Klaus stopped him.

"I suppose I can have a chat with our little brother, Damon. I'll meet you in the car," Klaus said and Damon sighed.

This wasn't going to end well; he knew it. But he wasn't in the mood to play referee- he wasn't even in the mood to go talk to Jeremy, but he had "responsibilities," and whatnot. But as far as Stefan and Klaus went? They needed to sort this tension out on their own.

Damon exhaled and walked out the door, leaving the two in their stand off in the living room.

Once the door locked, Stefan crossed his arms and Klaus grinned.

"I know what you're doing, so why don't we just cut to the chase," he said and Klaus raised an eyebrow.

"Do you? Please, enlighten me, little one," he said sweetly and Stefan huffed.

"You're using Damon to get on him on your side- trying to win him over. And I know that you've got something planned- you have to. What it is, exactly? Well, I can't wait to see. Just know that I'm watching you, Klaus. Just because I didn't kill you back in New Orleans doesn't mean you're off the hook. I remember everything that you made me do, and I'm not letting go of that," Stefan said strongly through his teeth, and Klaus clapped his hands together, seemingly delighted.

"Oh, wonderful. I am undoubtedly afraid of the hybrid who's not really a hybrid, because he's too afraid to reach his full potential... Sounds silly, right? Honestly, Stefan- you can't kill me-only my brother Damon can, and with the way we've been getting along, he wouldn't think of it. So why don't you take your big hair, your v-neck t-shirts, and your bad attitude upstairs to your bedroom, and sleep this one off?" Klaus asked, as he neared Stefan, and spoke directly into his ear. "Because I'm here to stay," he whispered.

Stefan narrowed his eyes as Klaus backed up with a smile on his face and walked towards the door.

"At the end of the day, Klaus, he's my brother too- and just because you've come into the picture doesn't mean he's gonna turn his back on that."

Klaus smiled as he scratched his blonde hair, and placed a hand on the knob.

"Do I sense a little jealousy, Stefan? You know, they say sibling rivalries are the best kind of rivalries. If you'd wish to engage me at some other time, I will gladly accept the offer. But right now, if you'll excuse me, I have a human to let-down," he said, before his exited.

Stefan polished off his drink and stuffed his hands into his pockets, as he watched the front door shut.

Damon may have been dumb enough to trust Klaus , but he wasn't- he didn't trust him for a minute. And as soon as he figured just what Klaus was up to, he was going to end him- take no prisoners.

"Damon and I? I wasn't aware you two were speaking as an 'item,' now," Caroline said as she looked at Elena, and crossed her arms unhappily. Bonnie sent her a scolding look, and she scoffed. "You know what? I'm gonna go get another drink before I say something really mean," the blonde answered, as she stood up and walked away to the bar.

Bonnie sighed, and she looked back up at Elena, who's brown eyes were shining, and waiting to speak.

"I'm... sorry about Caroline. She's a little on edge today," Bonnie apologized, though she knew she shouldn't have.

Caroline did say what she was thinking, afterall.

"I-I guess I did that did come out wrong-'Damon and I;' I really just... I wanted to talk to you about this entire situation," Elena said and Bonnie nodded quietly."Why-why didn't you tell me about you and Damon?"

Bonnie tapped her thumbs together and stared into Elena's eyes, reading the true determintation on her face as well as the curiousity that was looming in her stare. Elena came here for answers, and though Bonnie was reluctant to give them to her, she figured this was her best chance to just be straight-up and figure out what the hell was going on between Elena and Damon.

Bonnie inhaled, and took a sip of her soda before she finally spoke.

"I didn't tell you about Damon, Elena, because I was still figuring out how I felt about Damon. Between the whole mess with Jeremy, and Klaus, I just... I didn't know how I felt," Bonnie confessed and Elena remained quiet. "I kinda fell for him suddenly, Elena. And I don't know what he means to you, but-"

"What happened between you and Jeremy?" Elena asked and Bonnie sighed as she bit her bottom lip.

She really didn't want to explain this all over again.

"He hit me, Elena," she said, and the brunette's eyes widened. "And that's how Damon and I got drawn together- he helped me and protected me... he was really there when I needed someone to talk to. And though I've just found out that Klaus was actually behind what Jeremy did... my feelings for Damon haven't changed. I-I really care about him, and I don't care who knows it," Bonnie admitted and Elena pursed her lips together.

"I- I had no idea," she said, and Bonnie shrugged quietly. "I'm so sorry, Bon; for what Jeremy indirectly did, for Klaus, for-for everything. I feel like a monster for not being there for you sooner-"

"Elena, stop- I promise everything will be okay," Bonnie said brightly, and Elena shook her head as tears appeared in her eyes while she stared at Bonnie, and she took her hands into her own, gripping onto them very tightly.

"He hasn't told you, has he?"

Bonnie stared at Elena and her slowly rose as the girl's brown eyes met hers again; this time, she looked even more serious, and it made Bonnie worry.

"What hasn't he told me?"

Elena exhaled and looked down at the ground as she shut her eyes tightly, and Bonnie felt the worry that was in her stomach instantly multiply as she watched Elena struggling with the words she so desperately needed to say.

"Damon- he told me that he loves me, Bonnie,"Elena confessed, and Bonnie positively felt her heart stop and her palms go sweaty as she stared into Elena's eyes.

"He-he what?"

"He told me that he loved me, and he compelled me to forget. And it didn't work-I remember everything Bonnie; the way I felt, the tears in his eyes-I remember it all."

It didn't make any sense- Damon hadn't even mentioned this to Bonnie, or gave her any inkling that he actually loved Elena. Sure, she knew he felt very strongly for her, but Bonnie convinced herself it was just a crush and he had gotten over it, for the most part, in Louisiana.

"Bonnie... please say something," Elena started, and Bonnie cut her off.

"Do you love him too, Elena?" Bonnie asked, and she watched as the sullen expression on her friend's face only became even more dire, as tears filled up her eyes, and she nodded-giving Bonnie the confirmation she was waiting for.

Once she did, Bonnie stood up-she felt sick to her stomach.

"Bonnie, don't leave-" Elena began, but the witch quickly grabbed her bag, and spun around on her heel, existing the Mystic Grill in ten seconds flat.

Elena leaned her face into her palms, and Caroline came walking back over with a drink in hand.

"Hey, where's Bonnie?" she asked curiously, and Elena looked up, as she wiped her tears.

"She's gone, Care. I told her the truth."

Caroline raised her eyebrows and stared at her.

"What truth, Elena?"

"That Damon loves me, Caroline, and I love him back."

Caroline's mouth dropped and she furrowed her eyebrows and she shook her head.

"He-he wouldn't say that to you while he's into Bonnie, Elena. When... when did he tell you?" she asked.

"Does it matter, Caroline? Now she knows the truth and she can move on," Elena replied softly and Caroline scrunched her face, displeased by the words.

She couldn't believe what she was hearing right now.

"Do you really want him that badly, Elena, that you would throw your best friend under the bus? And... what about Stefan? You know, that guy you were so in love with-"

"Caroline, I really don't think this is any of your business, so for once-just try to stay out of it," Elena replied as she grabbed her bag and stood up.

Caroline scoffed as she shook her head, and Elena pulled on her jacket. When did Elena become such a mean girl?

"I hope that hurting Bonnie was worth it, Elena- because you are being an absolute bitch. I'm not sure what's gotten into you, but-" she said and Elena interrupted.

"What do you care, Caroline? Stefan's on the market again- I'm sure you can find a way to forget about all of this and just occupy yourself with another one of my ex's, like you usually do," Elena said nonchalantly and Caroline scoffed.

"You're being really rude, Elena," she said as she shook her head, and Elena shrugged.

"If you're gonna involve yourself in things that don't concern you, Caroline, there will always be consequences," she said softly before she walked away from the table, and out the door.

Damon knocked the front door to the Gilbert house, as he stood next to Klaus, and he waited until he heard footsteps approaching, and he sighed.

It was going to be hard as hell watching as Jeremy get this news, but he remembered why they were here and doing this, in the first place: Bonnie.

Damon wanted to make things easier on her, especially given everything that happened lately. So when Klaus offered to come clean, it was almost a godsend. He wanted to be with Bonnie, and Jeremy was a very big obstacle-one that he'd have to tackle, one way or another.

The door finally opened, and Alaric stood there with a puzzled expression on his face when he saw Klaus next to Damon, smirking at him and Damon looking complacent.

"Damon... and Klaus?" Alaric asked, clearly confused and Damon held up a hand.

"I'll explain later, Ric. Is Jeremy home? Klaus needs to have a word with him," Damon said, and Alaric's eyebrow rose.

"About what?"

Damon sighed- they hadn't actually told Alaric about anything Jeremy had been up to since he was brought back to life-the drinking, the drugs, the attempted suicide, or the hitting Bonnie thing- he especially didn't know about the fact that Klaus made him do all of it. Springing this on his best friend right now probably wouldn't be the best idea, either.

"I-will explain that later, too," Damon relinquished, and Klaus rolled his eyes.

"Don't be silly, brother- Alaric can listen to everything I'm about to tell Jeremy; I'm going to start right at the beginning," he said and Damon sighed.

Alaric still gazed at him skeptically before he called Jeremy, and the boy appeared at the door a minute later.

"You can tell Jeremy whatever it is that you need to tell him at the door, because there is no way in hell you're invited into this house," Alaric quipped, as he crossed his arms.

Klaus shrugged.

"Very well then," he turned to Jeremy who was just staring at him, confused. "Jeremy, I'm sure you remember me."

"No, I don't- who the hell are you?" he asked and Klaus sighed as he looked at Damon.

"This is going to be very troublesome," he said through his teeth and Damon shrugged.

"Just, get it done, please."

Klaus sighed as he turned back to the boy standing in the doorframe, and stuffed his hands in his pockets as he stared at him. Jeremy's brown eyes blinked as he stood there, hesitantly- waiting for an explaination to something he wasn't even sure of.

"Jeremy- I'm Klaus, an Original vampire/werewolf; the one who killed Elena and your Aunt Jenna to break the curse. I know you weren't present, but do you remember that?" he asked slowly, and Jeremy's eyes widened.

"Th-That was you?"

"Indeed. I guess I apologize about that, by the way. But moving on-"

"Why the hell is he here, Damon? And why are you with him?" Jeremy asked angrily and Damon turned to him.

"That's another story for another day, Gilbert. For now, let's just focus here," he said and Jeremy shook his head angrily.

"How could it get any worse than you running around with the hybrid who killed my family?"

"Well," Klaus interjected as he looked at Jeremy. "It could get worse if I tell you everything that we did to Bonnie after she brought you back to life."

Jeremy's eyebrow rose.

"What do you mean 'we?'" he asked and Klaus pressed his fingers together, and wallked closer to Jeremy, now standing in his face, looking down him contemplatively.

"I hurt her, Jeremy- while I was in your body. I had a witch create the illusion that you were seeing your dead girlfriend's Anna and Vicki, and they were telling you that you needed to kill Bonnie, though it was me controlling you all the while. The plan was to get Bonnie so afraid of you that she fled Mystic Falls with Damon, and would come to New Orleans to help me complete my ritual to turn Stefan into a hybrid. Long story short, Stefan is still a vampire and I failed-but I figured it'd be the nice thing to do to at least tell you that it's my fault Bonnie is no longer your girlfriend. Think of it as collateral damage," Klaus explained easily, and Jeremy's eyes widened, as he stood there, shocked.

Damon looked at Alaric, who was equally thrown, and he sighed. This was not good.

"You're lying- I don't remember any of this," Jeremy said angrily, with tears forming and Klaus shrugged.

"Not my doing- though I am curious as to why that occurred. If you would like me to compel the answer out of you, I would gladly-"

"You're not gonna do anything else to him, Klaus, so back off," Alaric spoke up and Klaus glared at him, causing Damon to eventually jump in the middle.

"Let's not do this right now, guys. Please."

Alaric shook his head and grabbed Jeremy's arm.

"I think we're done with this conversation," he said, and Jeremy surprisingly stopped him, still staring at the hybrid.

"I want to know why I don't remember, Klaus. I want you to compel me," Jeremy said and Damon's eyebrow rose as he stared at the two of them.

"Fine-" Klaus began, and Damon stopped him silently. "Damon, trust me- it's the only way," he said, and the vampire sighed as he looked at Alaric, and his friend stared back, unhappily.

"Caroline tried to compel an answer out of him, it didn't work-" Damon said, and Klaus held up a hand.

"I'm an Original and a hybrid, Damon. I should be able to successfully do this," he said and Damon stood quietly. "Jeremy," Klaus began, as he focused in on the boy's eyes, and Jeremy instantly stared back, captured beneath the trance in seconds. "Won't you tell me why you don't remember anything I made you do to Bonnie?" he asked.

Jeremy stared back at him blankly as his eyes seemed to dialate before they focused in on Klaus' again, and he opened his mouth to speak.

"The consequences," he said softly and Klaus furrowed his brows as he stared at him.

"What consequences?" he asked and Jeremy continued looking at him in a way that positively sent shivers down Damon's spine.

It instantly clicked in Damon's head as he remembered his talk with Bonnie about what happened after she brought Jeremy back to life, and his eyes widened. He looked at Alaric who seemed to have caught on as well, and he turned back to Jeremy.

"Emily?" Damon asked, and before he could say another word, Jeremy's eyes shut, and he passed out, almost falling to the ground if it hadn't been for Alaric's arms catching him.

"Jeremy, wake up," Damon said, as he moved in closer, and shook his arms.

He was breathing, but whatever it was that possessed him for the quick minute to pass along the message knocked him out cold.

"I'm gonna bring him in," Alaric said, heaving the boy over his shoulder, and Damon stared at him.

"Do you need help?"

"I think I've got this under control for now, Damon. You and Klaus should go. I'll let you know if he says anything else," he replied, and Damon sighed as he nodded, while he watched as Alaric walked away with Jeremy, and Damon pulled up the door.

He turned back to Klaus, and the hybrid had some sort of strange look of satisfaction on his face.

"What?" Damon asked as they began to near the car, and Klaus looked back at him.

"I told you I wasn't your biggest enemy."

"Bonnie, what are you doing here?" Stefan asked, and the witch walked into the boarding house as he shut the door behind her, and she seemed to be pacing nervously.

"I-I didn't know you were home, I was looking for Damon," she said and he nodded, though a look of concern suddenly masked his face.

Bonnie looked over at the coffee table, and saw two empty blood bags, and one that was half full, laying there, freshly squeezed.

"Sorry, if I'm interrupting-" she began, and he held up his hands.

"It's fine, Bonnie. I promise," Stefan said, quickly clearing away the blood bags, and Bonnie sighed. "Is everything okay?" he finally asked, and Stefan watched as Bonnie continued trembling, and he neared her hesitantly.

Stefan wasn't used to this- anytime he saw Bonnie, she was strong, and capable- never afraid, and always determined. It didn't matter what was going on around her, she always had to ability to get out of her own head and be the stabilizing force that they all needed, every once in a while. She was a rock, or sorts, and when he left with Klaus, he was glad that his brother, Elena, Caroline, and everybody else, would have somebody so level headed around to keep things in order.

But when he saw what Klaus did to her- it made him sick to his stomach. Bonnie was a friend, and as strong as she was, she couldn't handle that type of treatment. She didn't deserve it, either.

But now, as she stood before him, even more strung out than she had been the night of the ritual, or ever before, he couldn't help but wonder what effected her this way.

"I need to talk to Damon," she said and he sighed.

Damon. Of course- the only other reason Bonnie could be so flustered.

He saw the almost-kiss that happened between his brother and the witch, and though he didn't say anything at the time, he wasn't necessarily supportive of whatever was blossoming between the two. Not because he didn't think Damon was capable of caring for Bonnie, or vice versa, but because he knew of the way his brother felt for his own girlfriend- Elena.

And now, he was fairly certain Elena felt the same way for Damon.

Stefan dreaded the thought of Bonnie getting involved, or mixed up in the drama at all- she was his friend, and he knew she deserved better.

"He's not here- he's with Klaus," Stefan replied and a slight frown appeared on Bonnie's face. "I'm sure he'll be back soon," Stefan added, trying to sound optimistic, but he failed miserably.

Bonnie stared back at the vampire-and she wondered if she should tell him what Elena informed her about; she didn't want Stefan to be left in the dark, but she didn't believe it was her place to come between the brothers.

She decided that a talk between Damon and Stefan would be the best way to handle that, and she wasn't going to stick her nose into it.

Damon was on his own.

Just then, the door opened, and Damon and Klaus walked in, to see Bonnie and Stefan standing quietly in the living room, and the four glanced between each other.

"Bonnie, what are you doing here?" Damon asked dryly, and she cleared her throat.

"We need to talk- alone and in private," she said, and he searched her blank eyes for answers, but he recieved none.

He didn't say a word, he just walked up the staircase, and Bonnie followed him up, leaving Klaus and Stefan in the living room alone.

"Nothing like the old ball and chain," Klaus said, before he headed to the bar, and mixed himself a drink.

Stefan scoffed and rolled his eyes at him.

He wasn't in the mood.

Once Damon locked his door, Bonnie crossed her arms, and sent him a glare that let him know he was in trouble; big time.

"Damon, we need to talk," she started, and he took in a deep breath.

"Do we have to, right now? My head is still spinning from the talk with Jeremy," he said, and her eyebrow rose.

"You spoke to Jeremy without telling me?" she asked, with a bit of a bite to her voice. "Is there anything else you're not being honest about?"

"I told you Klaus was going to speak to Jeremy-I just went along as company," he started, and Bonnie continued glaring at him. "What are you upset about?" he asked and she placed her hands on her hips as she paced.

"Why don't you take a wild guess, Damon? It shouldn't be that hard to figure out, considering she must be on your mind a lot, lately- even when you're compelling your way out of hers," Bonnie said angrily, and his eyes narrowed. "When were you planning on telling me that you're in love with my best friend?"

Damon suddenly stopped moving, and he was sure that he went pale in the face as she watched him.

This was not the way that he wanted to have this conversation.

"Bonnie, listen to me very carefully-"

"Why, Damon? So you can lie to me some more? Why didn't you tell me that not only are you in love with somebody else, but she's in love with you too?" she asked, feeling tears emerge from her own eyes and he watched hopelessly as she looked at him with such anger, and distrust.

"I didn't mean to hold this out from you for so long, Bonnie! I-I just didn't know what to say-"

"How about you start with 'Bonnie, we can't be together because I'm in love with Elena?'" Bonnie responded and he shook his head furiously.

"Because I don't want to love Elena, okay? I don't! I want to be with you, Bonnie. I-I want to love you. And I'm so sorry that I've been an idiot and I didn't just tell you this from the start, but I didn't want to disappoint you. I wanted you to be happy-to be proud of me, for once. I wanted to be the guy that you deserve-"

"The guy who deserves me is Jeremy, Damon," Bonnie said, with a stone face expression, and his stomach dropped as he shook his head.

"You don't mean that," he said lowly, and she continued staring into his eyes. "You're just saying that out of spite to push me away, Bonnie- and it's not gonna work," Damon said, as he moved in closer towards her.

Her green eyes glowed as her tears stained her cheeks, and she pursed her lips.

"I mean it, Damon," she said softly and he let out a scoff as he pushed her against the wall and he continued to move in closer.

Bonnie pushed her hands against his chest in an effort to shove him away, and he didn't budge.

"You're a bad liar, Bonnie Bennett. I know that I mean something to you, and I will be damned if I let you walk away from this-if I let you walk away from me," he said angrily.

Bonnie was shaking beneath his grasp, and he knew she was contemplating using her supernatural forces to leave this situation; he expected an aneurysm any second now, or at least a shock to the hands that would force him to get his hands off of her, and allow her to run like holy hell, back downstairs to the living room, where Stefan could at least get him to back off.

But she didn't do it.

She just stood there, staring into the blue abyss that were his eyes, with tears rolling down her cheeks, and trembling hands.

"Why am I here, Damon? Why aren't you with her? You both love each other," she said and he gazed at her.

"I told her that I loved her before you were ever in the picture, Bonnie. And I don't know if it means much, but if I could take it back, I absolutely would," Damon confessed. "I've been feeling this way about Elena for so long because I never allowed myself to stop feeling this way. But now that I have-now that I see that I feel so much better around you, I honest to god wish I had never done it. I want to be with you, Bonnie. I've never wanted anything so bad in my life- not even her."

Bonnie looked down and Damon drew her in with his arms, and kissed the top of her head.

"I am so sorry. Please, believe me, Bonnie," he whispered against her hair, and he felt her body moving slowly against his as she inhaled and exhaled, with her face buried to his chest.

"I don't know if I can," said softly, and he unwrapped his arms long enough to lift her chin to him, and look down into her eyes.

"Yes, you can, Bonnie. You need to," he whispered.

Damon's lips pressed to hers softly, and she was drawn into the kiss by his hands when he cupped Bonnie at the cheeks. She wanted to feel nothing- she wanted a reason to just give up on him, and let this entire thing go, like she should've.

But she couldn't- because despite the circumstances and the words Elena confessed to her, she felt something for him; something that continuously pulled her in when she wanted to just walk away, and forget she'd ever met him.

But her gravity was grounded with Damon- her heart, her mind, and everything else that should've belonged to her were now his.

The magnetic pull that she felt when his lips touched hers was like no other, and she cursed herself every single second that she fell deeper into the spell- deeper into him.

When Bonnie fell for Jeremy, she was sure that she knew what love felt like; being happy, being caring, being there for one another, no matter the cost.

But now-now that she was falling for Damon-head over heels for him, in fact- she didn't know if she knew what love had ever meant to her, at all.

The pull she felt with him? It was something she'd never experienced in her life. The anger, the tears, the passion, and the pleasure- it all surpassed anything she ever felt, or knew; what she felt for Damon damn near demolished it.

His hands against her skin, his tongue against her throat-it was a battle even pretending that she could fight this-fight him-or even fight herself into pretending she didn't care, and she could go on without him.

Something always brought her here-right back to him, and might try to explain it if she could; but she couldn't.

All Bonnie could do was crumble- lose her strength, her will, and her judgement when he pulled her face towards his again, and part with every bit of rationality inside of her when his mouth was with hers- doing exactly what she wanted him to do.

Damon half remembered pushing Bonnie onto his bed, and climbing on top her, as he tore through her blouse, and placed a trail of kisses up her chest, straight to her ear.

It was a blur when his own shirt came off, along with his pants, and her denim shorts, as he only recognized the faint sounds of the fabric hinting the ground. He gripped his fingers with hers, holding her down beneath him, eager to take control of her in a way that he always had. His muscles tightened, and his arms bulged as he held her, watching as she drew him in closer, without lifting a finger.

Bonnie was something incredible, and given the choice between her and Elena- he'd pick her every time.

The way she breathed when he ran his fingers over her skin, the intoxicating scent of her blood filling his every senses, and the moans that escaped her lips whenever he kissed her sent him into a dizzy- he couldn't be without now that he had her.

"Bonnie," he whispered into her ear, and she opened her eyes to look into his.

Damon brushed his hands against her hair, and she sighed at the touch of his fingers.

That was something he relished in.

Bonnie wrapped her bare legs around his torso, and Damon buried his mouth at her shoulder, grazing his teeth lightly across her skin. She gripped his back with her nails, in deep anticipation, and he continued kissing against her veins, slowly and softly.

Her hands moved to his dark hair, twisting and gripping the locks beneath her fingers- her hold only tightened when she felt his fangs pierce into her neck, and she tried to breathe evenly, though even thinking while she was in bed with Damon seemed like the biggest struggle of her life, thus far.

Damon latched his lips onto her neck, and took in the sweet taste of her blood, as she exhaled into the air. Usually when he fed-whether it be blood bags or a human- he saw red. He could never really recall the feelings or scents, or anything else as it happened- he just knew he was satisfied, and that was that.

But with Bonnie- he felt everything. He felt her tremble beneath him as his fangs emerged, and he felt her muscles relax after they cut into her skin. He breathed in the unmistakable scent, and relished in the irreplaceable feeling that she was his.

He was falling in love with this feeling- and no doubt, her too.

Bonnie shut her eyes again, and Damon kissed along the bite gently, and he gripped around her waist firmly, as if to signal that he might have been done, but she was not going anywhere.

She floated away into her thoughts- her thoughts about Damon, what was happening to her, and what was going to happen if they continued, and she ignored Elena's confession.

Bonnie suddenly felt a darkness enter her head, and when she opened her eyes, she looked at Damon, but the voice that spoke to her didn't come from his lips.

"There will be consequences for this, Bonnie."

A/N: Hellllo, all! So I have been on a serious updating kick, and this is a LONG chapter because not only do you all deserve it, but I probably won't be updating over the weekend, as I will be busy. I got especially inspired after watching TVD last night. How did you all enjoy the episode? Can we just skip all the nonsense, and get to the BAMON already, right? I really am PRAYING they don't set Bonnie up with Matt, because IDK- I have a feeling it's heading in that direction. But whatever. At least you all have my story to get your fix ;)What did you think of Stefan being suspicious of Klaus? Unwarranted? Also, what about Elena's attitude? Did she seem a little... off to any of you? *HINNNNNNT.* And Jeremy-didn he seem a little off as well? Double hint. Lastly- Bamon! How do you all feel about the words and the passion exchanged between the two? Hot enough? And what was up with those last words for Bonnie? Hmm... until next time! Read, review, enjoy, and discuss! :D
