So, here it is. The 25th chapter of Crimson Wolf. Seems short but oh well. I have actually started working on a new story. I really need to stop that though since I should start writing the summery first before writing. Its just so I can remember the idea I had for it, I read what I wrote and remember the direction I was going. Its only to cut off what happened that isn't beneficial for the story and not forget about things like the creator for Dragon Ball did. I mean, what the fuck happened to Launch?!

Chapter 25

Ruby stood there and watched. Yang informed them on the plan. Their weapons near Crescent Rose. Soon, they all ran into the forest. Yang is the only one standing in front of Ruby.

"Ready Rubes?" Yang yelled out to her.

"Not yet… let me get into it…" Ruby closed her eyes and took deep breaths. She opened her eyes. The white of her eyes turned black. Her pupil thinned like a snake's eyes and turned red. Her tattoos glowed bright red. Ruby smiled widely.

"Okay! Come at me if you think you stand a chance!" Yang charged at Ruby. The plan might not work if she is like this… damn… Yang thought. She threw punch after punch towards Ruby. She dodged every punch. Ruby threw a punch at Yang. She shattered into glass.

Ruby rolled away from a kick from Neo. Ruby grabbed Neo's leg and threw her towards the trees. She shattered like glass on impact. Ruby dodged a punch from behind. Neo kept Ruby from fighting back. Blake soon charged in and nailed Ruby in the back with her elbow and Neo kicked Ruby in the head. Ruby fell to the ground.

"Did… we beat her?" Blake asked.

"No… I doubt it…" Yang came out and walked towards them.

"What do you mean?" Yang's eyes widened and she pulled Neo and Blake away from Ruby. A claw was inches away from Blake's and Neo's face. Ruby was standing up, smiling like a monster. Her arms had turned into that of a Grimm's arms. Nora rushed out and traded blows with Ruby. Every time Ruby landed a hit, Nora hit harder. Ruby staggered. Her power increased.

Ruby kicked Nora in the stomach and sent her into a tree. Nora's out… Yang, Weiss, Blake, Neo, Adam, Jaune, Coco, Fox, Pyrrha, and Ren left to go… Ruby thought. She evaded a kick from Adam. They fought for a bit before Blake joined him. Ruby evaded and dodged every kick and punch thrown at her. Ruby was basically dancing around they're attacks. Ruby used the shadows to attack them. They shattered again into glass.

Jaune and Pyrrha ran towards Ruby. Pyrrha punched Ruby and Jaune kicked her. Ruby blocked both attacks and grabbed Jaune's leg and Pyrrha's arm. She spun and threw them towards the trees.

There was now a snow storm coming.

Ruby evaded Ren and Weiss. She knocked out Weiss in one punch. Ren was taking the hits. Ruby spun up and grabbed Ren's other arm and threw him towards Yang. They both went down. Neo, Adam, and Blake charged her again. Ruby blocked their attacks and fought back. Coco and Fox soon charged at her not to long after.

They traded blow for blow. Ruby hit Neo in the stomach and threw a punch at Blake. She left her shadow to take the blow and kicked Ruby in the face. Ruby staggered back and kicked Adam in the face and hit Blake in the gut. Coco hit Ruby a few times before Ruby kicked her in the head. Fox began his attack from there. Ruby was having a harder time keeping up with him. She then turned the tables and ducked under him, suddenly throwing an uppercut to his jaw and kicking him in the stomach shortly after. Ruby stood there breathing heavily. She heard movement from behind her. When Ruby turned, she was knocked to the ground and pinned.

"Glad to see you still got some fight still left in you!" It was Taiyang. Ruby was about to roar out for some help when Taiyang dug a knife into her throat. He smiled. "There! No escape!" Ruby struggled. Taiyang ripped the knife across. It slashed through Ruby's throat, stopping her from screaming. She tried to scream in pain, but no sound was made.

"No one will help you… your all alone… you took out anyone that would have been able to help you…" Taiyang scraped the blade against Ruby's scar over her right eye. "You don't deserve to see!" he slashed her eyes, he thought she still had both of them, and she tried to scream even more. He was about to plunge the knife into Ruby's chest when someone had grabbed his arm. He looked and saw Megan.

"That is enough you monster…" Megan grabbed Taiyang's neck and threw him away from Ruby.

Ruby was covering her eyes. She could still see out of the robotic one. Her throat bled heavily, a bone plate formed to cover the wound. Taiyang got up and growled.

"Damn you, Megan… Why are you getting in my fucking way?!" Taiyang yelled out at her.

"Because you are taking this grudge against the cursed thing to seriously… your family respected the cursed… why is it that you don't?" Megan asked. She had a very serious tone to her.

"It's their fault that I am related to the ones that tried to kill my parents!" Taiyang yelled out.

"You're wrong… no cursed would ever kill without a reason… I remember everything that a cursed had ever done… no cursed had ever tried to kill your parents…" Megan walked towards him.

"Lier!" Taiyang charged at Megan. Ruby stood up. She kept her eyes closed. Shadows grabbed Taiyang and stopped him from charging. Her right eye opened, revealing a robotic eye.

"I'm not lying… you are going to have learn this the hard why…" Megan said.

"What is a bitch like you going to teach me?" Taiyang snapped at her.

"I'm teaching you to learn respect… you might not live through it though… I'm sure your Uncle will be very disappointed seeing you like this…" Megan and Taiyang disappeared in an instant. Summer rushed in and saw the blood coming from Ruby's left eye and her throat.

"Ruby! Are you okay? I came as fast as I could…" Summer had concern clear in her voice.

"Taiyang… he slashed my… left eye… stabbed my… throat…" Ruby had blood coming out of her mouth as she talked. Summer noticed the blood that looked like it came from Ruby's throat, under the bone plate. The ones on the ground, that sparred with Summer, got up and noticed the blood from Ruby.

"Where is Taiyang?" Summer asked.

"I don't know… I heard Megan's voice… She disappeared with him…" Ruby looked at Summer.

"He must have used something that could cause your aura to break… you have barely any aura left…" Summer stated.

"Looks like sparring must be put on hold…" Ruby's arms returned to normal. She sat down against a tree and Summer covered Ruby's left eye in bandages. Soon, the others showed up. Yang and the others got up and groaned.

"She took all of you out as well?" Mercury spoke up.

"Yeah… How did it go with Summer?" Blake asked.

"Not so good… it barely took her that long to take us out… how long for you?" Emerald answered.

"Ruby drew it out to give us a chance… I doubt she'll be able to do that again right now…" Blake pointed to Ruby.

"Guess we have a long way to go…" Mercury said.

"We also have to study as well…" Weiss stated. Everyone groaned when she said that. Summer finished cleaning the blood off of Ruby.

"There…you can't fight for a while though… not until your eye and your throat is better…" Summer stated.

"Okay…" Ruby wasn't happy that she had to sit out. Summer had to train the others. Ruby closed her robotic eye, she listened and pictured how they were fighting Summer. She allowed her powers to heal her left eye completely. She felt different than before. How she felt different, she wasn't even sure.
