Chapter 25: Tomorrow's Dawn

Oh yeah, sorry for changing between human and nation names. They are the same people, so don't put much thinking to it~

"Asura, burn this into your mind!" Kid said.
"You two, let's do this on the double." England ordered. The twins sounded enthusiastic and agreed to that. "Soul Resonance!"
A great blue blob soon engulfed him up and down. When that happened, Canada turned into another Weapon form, from bow and arrows into a crossbow. As he was charging, the trio felt that the Neo Chain Resonance grew even stronger than before. In immediate chance, Soul charged into the Demon God Hunter form. "Alright! This is our chance, guys!"
Despite Asura was still in his blood form, he tried quite hard to evade the attacks. "I don't get it though. While I'm still in this liquid form, nothing should be able to touch me."
"Asura, you forget one thing." Maka said, as she dashed to slash Asura with the Demon God Hunter.
"Oh, what did I forget?"
Just as he said that, he noticed that part of his body was destroyed. The parts were quite hard, as hard as a stone.
"Blood dries after a while. Especially that black blood. When it dries, it becomes a crystal. Just like Ragnarok."
Even though he knew that he was not in a good condition, Asura kept on wearing his calm demeanor. "So you think you can defeat me?"
"Hell yeah, of course!" Black Star slipped behind Asura. "After all, I'm the guy who will overcome god!"
"Your existence must end here and now, Kishin!" Kid said, as he prepared his Death Cannon.

After England finished charging, the trio charged at the Kishin all at once. Asura tried to defend, but what Maka said turned out to be true. His body was slowly hardening. "Demon God Hunter!"
Maka swung her Weapon as hard and as fast as possible. At first, Asura managed to defend against it, but since his body was slowly hardened into something similar to carbon, the defend became futile and thus he was slashed through. "Shadow Star!"
Black Star came from behind and stabbed Asura directly. It was futile at first, but because of Black Star's strong force, it pierced through. As it stood by, the Kishin's blood form hardened bit by bit. "Alright, once more!" Soul exclaimed.
Kid was crouching down with his Death Cannon readied and aimed at the enemy. "Death Cannon!"
As the cannon hit Asura, most part of his body was destroyed. Because most of his body had hardened, he could hardly move like before. Few moments later, England was aiming both of his Weapons towards the enemy.
"Let this be end, Asura."

...
"Alright, that's the end of today's class." Sid said.
After he said that, few students stood up and gathered their belongings. Not long until Sid said another thing. "Oh yeah, you three, and your Weapons."
The usual trio turned their faces towards Sid. "Come to the Death Room after this."
Tsubaki raised her head a bit. "Eh? But I thought no one should come to the Death Room after that battle."
"The matter's over, so just come over."
...
"You know, it has been two weeks after that last battle, but things don't change much!" Black Star complained. "It's the same old, same old!"
"That is true, but we saved the world from Asura's madness, right?" Kid replied. "But..."
Kid looked around the corridor that was filled with people walking around. "Those three never came to DWMA again ever since that last battle."
"Oh yeah, they disappeared in the next day, huh?" Liz said. "Though right now I want to know what Lord Death wants from us."

When they arrived at the Death Room, the first thing came to their mind was a shock. The disappeared trio was inside that room as well. "Yo, you all! Are you doing fine?" America greeted happily.
"You three... Where did you go after that battle?" Maka asked.
"We were called by the main branch for an explanation with the madness." England paused. "Since the America is connected directly with this incident, so the three of us had to come to the meeting."
"Oh, so that's why no one should come to the Death Room for over two weeks." Tsubaki said, feeling relieved.
"In the end, America is really a Weapon himself." Liz said.
"Because of Kishin's black blood, his true potential is suppressed so he wasn't able to force out his true form. Is it along that road?" Kid asked. "Though, now that things have gone calm, are you going back?"
"That's correct. I have my duties in the European Branch and in my country." England replied.
"The same goes for me. I'm going back to the government quarters. And of course, you're leaving too, right Canada?" America turned his face towards his twin. The latter only replied with a nod as he smiled softly.
"It's not like you guys won't see each other again, you know~" Lord Death stated. "Anyway, when are you three going to leave?"
"After this is done with." England replied. "We should get going before I missed my flight."
...
Black Star shrugged and walked towards England. "Heh! Just you wait! My soul wavelength will be even more powerful than you when we meet again!" He pointed towards England with a great pride written on his face.
"Just don't push yourself too hard, Black Star..." Tsubaki said, looking at Black Star.
"I look forward to that day, lad." England smirked.
...
"Hope we can see each other again, Alfred. I'm interested in your Weapon form." Kid stated.
"Of course! I still lived in this country after all!"
"And one other thing."
"Yeah?"
After a few seconds of silence, Kid soon grabbed America's cowlick. "Do something with your hair! You're so unsymmetrical, you piece of trash!"
"Ah... There he goes..." Liz face-palmed as Patty just kept on laughing.
...
"From bow and arrow to a crossbow... That's quite a change." Maka said.
"Yeah, but I think I can only reach that with England as my Meister... And I never expected that America really has a Weapon blood in him." Canada looked nervous.
Few seconds later, Soul raised his eyebrows. "Dude, aren't you rather... transparent?"
"Uh, no, don't worry about it... It's a normal occurrence..."

In front of the school gate, the first thing that America did was breathing the air deeply. "Whew! It feels like forever since I've stopped going outside!"
"It has been two weeks of our interrogation. Of course it has been forever." England replied.
Canada smiled softly. "Well then, shall we get going?"
"Yeah."
The trio turned their heads towards the team behind them, who waved goodbye to bid them farewell. They smiled towards the team as they left Death City, unto the world which had been freed from the Demon God's madness.
