Just in case you were wondering, yes I am still alive.

Emma: No it's not weird that you ship Sebastian and Clary. Because let's all face it the whole TMI fandom shipped them at one point in book three. :)

Read on my beloved Shadowhunters.

Chapter Twenty-Five.

Month Three.

Clary laid flat on her bed, with her shirt pulled up just over her baby bump as Magnus checked her over. Clary watched Magnus' expression as he hovered his hand just over her stomach, watching for any emotion change on him but his face remained blank. After Magnus was done he took his hand away from her and helped Clary pull her shirt down and sit up.

"I hadn't expected anything like that," Magnus confessed, with a shocked look over his face.

"Anything like what? What is it?" Clary asked, almost jumping off the bed in desperation to know.

"Well, when I had first looked you over, I saw that your child was growing at an unhuman rate, much faster than its other sibling, which hadn't even started to develop. And you remember the demon blood, Sebastian," Magnus spat his name. "Made you drink."

Clary nodded, answering his question.

"Well that demon blood would have gone away in a year's time, but it seems that your child has somehow absorbed the demon blood helping it to grow at the same speed as its sibling and helping you to get over it quicker."

Clary made an 'O' shape with her mouth, but still feeling confused because of how fast Magnus explained it.

"But if he took the demon blood out of my system and into his, wouldn't he be just as demonic as Sebastian?" Clary asked, worriedly.

"That…" Magnus sighed. "Is a high possibility. But once he is born the blood inside of him could just burn out, like it would have done to you. Causing no harm."

"And if it doesn't?"

Magnus paused for a moment, as if he didn't know the answer himself or feared that if he said it, it would end all life. After a few short moment Magnus looked up into her eyes and spoke.

"I'm so sorry Clary."

Clary gasped, tears prickling her eyes and threatening to pour over her cheeks. Her son had possibly damned his own life for his mother and he hadn't even been born yet. How could anyone want to end a life that has saved one?

She rested her hand over her stomach, where she pictured her children to be resting, closed her eyes and whispered a silently. 'I'm sorry.'

oOoOoOoOoOo

A smile played on Sebastian's face as he checked his phone, for the hundredth time that morning. 7:30am, only two minutes from the last time he had checked it. Sebastian sighed frustrated as he put his phone back on the coffee table and leaned back on the sofa.

Today was the first of April and the end of the three month, waiting period.

He had Clary's address written down and stored into a journal he had. Sebastian had planned that he wouldn't go and see her in daylight, anyone could be around and watching.

It was only luck that he had seen her alone that night in England. But he still had to dash away when he had seen the daylighter coming.

So he figured out time zones in England and planned to leave at just the right time to see her.

Sebastian stuffed his hands into his pockets, forcing himself not to check the phone again. When he felt his hand brush against the small velvet box he had in his pocket. Inside the box was a golden ring with a diamond on it, it was a pretty simple ring.

If Clary decided that she still wanted to go with him, he would ask her to marry him. He loved her and wanted to be with her for the rest of his life. They could start everything over and be a family. A small smile appeared on his face at the thought of being a father of a boy or girl.

But, if she didn't love him and it all was just a bond and she really still loved Jace. Sebastian would let her go, he wouldn't force her to go with him all he wanted was her happiness and if that meant leaving her forever, he would do so. But he would never stop loving her.

After so many years of wondering what it's like to love, now he finally realised it. Love was a happiness no one could take from you, not even the one who held your heart.

oOoOoOoOoOo

"I'll come back in a few months and check on you," Magnus said as he gave Clary a hug, holding her tight but not too tight.

"That depends on what the clave decides," Clary said, as Magnus finally broke away from the hug.

Magnus looked down into the red heads green eyes and rested a hand on her shoulder.

"I can only hope for your sake everything will turn out with a happy ending," Magnus whispered, only so she could hear, and before she could say anything back Magnus had turned around and disappeared into the portal he had made.

"Clary, it's time you get ready, the portal won't last forever," Joslyn said as she came over beside Clary. The red head gave her mother a light nod before dragging herself into her room, in not sort of a hurry.

Today was the day that the clave had decided the fate of two innocent children.

Clary had spent all day in her pyjama's, so she reached into her draws and pulled out a baggy black top and a pair of maroon tights. She sluggishly threw everything on and slipped her converses on.

"Clary hurry up, we should have been gone by now. Its half past seven for crying out loud," Joslyn complained as she stepped into the room and pulled Clary's hair into a messy bun before tying it all up.

Joslyn helped Clary stand and then they walked out of her room and over to the portal, Magnus had made earlier for them.

"Wait isn't Jace coming?" Clary asked, stopping dead in front of the portal.

"He said he would meet us there, you were taking too long," Joslyn said as she grabbed her daughters hand and held it tight. "Ready?"

"As I'll ever be," Clary replied as they both stepped through the portal. Clary had her eyes closed as they came through the portal, but she opened them again once she felt her feet touch the hard ground.

"There you two are," Clary saw Jace as he walked towards her and her mother. "The clave has been waiting for you."

"So let them wait if they plan on killing two lives," Clary muttered angrily as she let Jace pull her down a cold dark hallway.

"You don't know if they want to kill them or not, Clary," Joslyn said, defending the clave, as she walked behind the two teenagers.

Clary was about to say something back, when Jace pushed open two heavy doors revealing the room where she was to meet the members.

"Clarissa Morgenstern, you seemed to have taken your time," A male voice said, from the end of the room. "Now come forward."

Clary hesitantly stepped forward and kept walking until she was directly in front of the man who had spoken to her before, but she didn't look up at him or any of them she kept her eyes focus on the ground. Fear running through her body for the answer she may receive.

oOoOoOoOoOo

2 Hours later

Sebastian came to a stop once he stepped out of the portal and into the cool streets of England. Tones of mundane's walked by him, but none seemed to notice a teenaged boy just appearing out of nowhere. Which was odd, yet he was thankful for. He didn't really want to have to kill anyone tonight.

Sebastian reached into his pocket and pulled out a piece of paper, which he wrote Clary's address on. Sebastian looked around for a street sign and found that he was on her street. What luck, he smiled to himself as he shoved the paper back into his pocket of his pants.

Sebastian walked down the street in search for the house, once he came across the house number he looked up at the building. It was a small brick apartment, which looked dark inside. Sebastian walked up to the door and pulled out his Steele, quickly drawing an unlock rune on the door.

He entered the house and looked around. It was dark but he could see that it was very plain. Walking into the house more he noticed something, a sound. It sounded like crying. Curiosity coming over him, he followed the sound until he came to a stop in front of a dull white door. The crying was coming from directly behind this door. Sebastian grabbed the door handle and opened it in one quick movement. Scanning the room the first thing his eyes came to rest on was the bed and a mass of red hair spilled out across the pillow.

"Clary?" Sebastian asked worriedly.

oOoOoOoOoOo

"I am so sorry, Clary," Joslyn said as they just arrived home from the meeting with the clave.

The members did nothing to sugar coat it or even try to make her understand, which she wouldn't have agreed to it that way anyway. But as soon as she arrived they talked to her about the problem, which she tried to make them understand about. But in the end they said to her "the life of millions is more important than the life's of two, we do apologies but your children are too dangerous for us to ignore." Clary didn't take to it to well, mainly because Jace and her mother had to hold her back from punching the members in the head.

But in a week from now she has been scheduled to see a warlock, not Magnus, so he or she can perform an abortion. Which was everything Clary was against.

Clary felt tears prickle her eyes as she turned to face her mother. "NO YOU'RE NOT. YOU HAVE JUST BEEN WAITING FOR THE MOMENT WHEN THE CLAVE WOULD TELL ME THAT MY CHILDREN COULDN'T LIVE," Clary screamed, frustrated, tears now streaming down her face as she cried.

"Clary, I know you're upset but…"

"UPSET? UP-FUCKING-SET DOESN'T EVEN BEGIN TO DESCRIBE HOW I FEEL," Clary cried. Wishing Jace was here to whisper sweet nothings in her ear, but he decided to stay behind and try to talk things out with the clave.

"I am your mother and you can't speak this way to me," Joslyn defended as she looked angrily at her daughter. She loved Clary, but couldn't love the monsters growing in her. Joslyn was glad to hear that they were going to be killed. Clary would understand in time.

"I'm sorry Clary but I think you should cool off here, on your own," Joslyn said as she walked over and picked up the car keys from the counter.

Clary didn't even bother to stick around while her mother was getting ready to leave. She ran off to her room and threw herself, being careful of her stomach, down onto the bed, not even bothering to turn on her bedroom light.

Clary felt that she could have been crying for hours. She didn't even hear her bedroom door open or notice anything until a soft voice said.

"Clary?"

Clary pulled herself into a sitting position on the bed and turned to face the doorway. It was dark so she couldn't see, so Clary reached over and turned on her side table lamp. Her eyes widened at the sight before her. His pure white hair, his eyes as black as tunnels, his beautiful features. Sebastian.

Clary felt fear run through her, but she knew that he wouldn't hurt her she knew why he was here in fact she had forgotten about him coming.

"H—hi S—Sebastian," Clary sniffled.

Sebastian looked at her worriedly and approached the bed, sitting next to her but Clary slightly scotched away from him, not feeling comfortable being so close to him. He didn't seem to notice this though.

"What's the matter, my angel?" He ask, making eye contact with her. Seeing the tears in her eyes broke his heart.

"The clave thinks my—our children aren't safe to be able to live and they are making me have an abortion," Clary broke back into her sobs.

Sebastian felt a number of emotions run through him. Anger, sadness, guilt. Wait….did she say children? As in more than one?

"Don't worry Clary. I'll take you away from this, were we can be a family and have a fresh start," Sebastian said calmingly as he rubbed her back and reached into his pocket for the velvet box. Sebastian grabbed Clary's hand lightly and placed the velvet box in it.

Clary looked at the box for a moment before taking the lid from it and revealing a golden ring with a diamond on it, it was beautiful. She gasped.

"I thought maybe since you were brought up in a mundane life style, you would want a ring," Sebastian said as he looked into her emerald eyes. Which he gently brushed the tears out of. "Clarissa Adele Morgenstern, will you marry me?"

Clary felt her heart stop. She couldn't explain what the feeling inside of her felt like. But she did know one thing, she didn't love Sebastian not in this way at least. But she did love her children and she didn't want them to have to die, just for her. If she married Sebastian he would take her away and keep their children safe from the monsters of the shadowhunter world. And maybe after time passes she could probably learn to love him without a spell keeping them linked together. Maybe she could love him as he loves her.

"Sebastian, yes," Clary smiled. A smile grew on Sebastian's face as Clary slipped the ring on her left ring finger.

Sebastian brought her into a hug and rested his hand on her stomach.

"I love you all so much," he exclaimed as he kissed the top of her head.

Sebastian then brought Clary into a passionate kiss, which she returned. Clary knew the kiss was wrong but at the same time she couldn't tell what was right as he lightly bit her lower lip. He loved her and now she needed comfort and since she knew he truly did love her, why not take comfort in the arms of someone who loves you? No matter how messed up it is.

Sebastian slid his tongue along her bottom lip and she gave him entrance, their tongue's battling for dominance, Sebastian ended up winning in the end though. The two had been so caught up in the kiss that they hadn't even notice the door open and hadn't seen the two people walk in.

"Holy FUCK!" Jace exclaimed, as if he had just walked in on Magnus and Alec having sex. But this was much worse.

"DEAR GOD," Joslyn half whispered, but still loud enough for everyone to hear.

They had both seen them. They had been seen the two SIBLINGS kissing each other.

Oh shit.

Like it? Hate it? Tell me what you think. Pssst….That means review.

Sorry but Clary isn't really in love with Sebastian. It was all a bond so she is just going to pretend she loves him. And remember this if you kill me you will never know how this story ends or anything about the sequel, and my laptop has a password on it so ha.

Raise your hand if you are against abortion *stretches hand so high it hits roof*.

What will Jace and Joslyn do? Find out next chapter. I am so evil, that's why I should marry Sebastian we could burn down the world together. :)
