Chapter 22
We stopped at a random gas station.
"I'll go get some food." I said, patting my pocket to see if my money was still there.
"Okay." Dean filled up the tank and Sam had already nodded off some 15 minutes ago.
I jogged to the store in the gas station lit night. My breath came in white puffs, my hand gripped the cold handle of the door and I pulled it open, stepping into the warm room. A man in his mid-30s came to the counter and stared at me with a blank expression. He had no hair, except for a mustache and he also had bright blue eyes. He sighed, "Hi. Welcome to hell."
I laughed, "Buddy, you have no idea. You better be happy working night shifts." I grabbed a few bags of chips, some drinks, a Snickers bar and a foil wrapped hamburger for Dean. I placed the food on the counter and the guy slowly rang it up.
"21.56." He announced in a monotone voice. I handed him the money and he put the stuff in a bag. I thanked him and took the food, walking out. I carried the bag on one arm and the hamburger in the other hand. Dean was leaning against the Impala and brightened up when he saw the hamgurger. He stood up straight and took the hamburger away from me as I got close en0ugh. I got in the car, slamming the door. Sam jumped and looked back. He then smiled as I scooted to the middle of the backseat. Dean got in and slammed his door, starting up the car again. We were back on the road with Dean hungrily eating his hamburgers.
I offered Sam a bag of chips and he took it, thanking me. I handed him and Dean their drinks, also.
"Thanks," They mumble.
I yawn and set the rest of the food on the floor. I lay back down, closing my eyes. "Going back to sleep."
"Aren't you going to eat? You were complaining earlier about being hungry." Dean said.
"Eh." I mumbled, dozing off quickly.
"HEY! VALLIE! WAKE UP!" Dean yells.
My eyes shoot open and I sit up too fast. The blood rushes from my head and get dizzy. I snap out of it and murmur, "What?!"
"Anna Milton is at the hospital, Sam and I are going to go talk to her." He said.
I blinked at him tiredly, then I noticed I was in a hotel room and Dean was wearing a suit, his Fed suit. "Where's Sam? Why are we here?"
Dean rolls his eyes. "He took a shower, he's probably getting on his suit. And, uh, Sam carried you in."
"Oh, can I go with you guys?"
"Uh, not really. They get suspicious with three Feds. So you stay here maybe your ex boyfriend will keep you company." Dean joked.
"No."
My eyes wondered to Sam as he came out of the bathroom. I smiled and he looked up, smiling back as he saw me. Then he looked at Dean, fixing his tie. "She'll be here, alone." He put emphasis on the last word, glancing at me. I got up and walked over to him, fixing the tie he was struggled to tie... -_- I giggled as I finished it and straightened his collar.
"What?"
I look up into his grey-green eyes and smiled, "You're such a dork."
He opened his mouth, then shut it, but then... opened it again. "WHAT?"
I put my hands on my hips and looked at him. "Don't yell at me, mister."
"Sorry." He gave me a dorky smile.
"Whatever." I put my hands on his cheeks and gave him a quick kiss. I pulled away and he gave me his puppy eyes for more. "You have a job so get to it." I got to my tippy toes and whispered in his ear, "We'll grab a couple beers and have some fun later."
Sam's POV
"We'll grab a couple beers and have some fun later." She whispered in my ears seductively. It gave me chills down my back as she lowered back down to her normal height and her brown eyes got brighter.
"Do you guys need a minute? Or an hour?" Dean asked.
I looked over at him and Vallie said, "Maybe three later." She plopped back onto her bed, smiling.
"Um, okay." Dean put his uncomfortable face on, "Let's go, Sam." I headed towards the door after Dean and looked back at Vallie.
"Bye. I love you." I shut the door and walked towards the car.
Dean and I walked into the hospital and asked for the girl. A nurse pointed towards a redhead and we walked towards her.
"Anna Milton?" I ask.
She looked up at Dean and I. We flashed our badges. "Yes?"
