Chapter 25

Ada's POV

I jumped out of the way as she fired incinerate at us and rolled before leaping and tackled her and started punching her, I cracked her screen and she caught my fist before punching me knocking me off. "YOU'RE ALL TRAITORS" "WE DID NOTHING TO BETRAY YOU" Miranda yelled and I looked at her "Miranda it's no use they won't listen", she let out a screech and charged at us and I extended my needle waiting for her to get closer before driving it through her screen and she crashed into me.

I could hear her coughing and pushed her off of me before looking at her "we're… family… we must… stay a family" she held a hand out to me and I looked at her, "we're always a family in the end now let go" I placed her hands on her chest and removed my helmet. "Do you recognize her" I asked as she removed her helmet "yeah we were friends when we were in Rapture… she wanted me to kill her when she began to lose herself but I couldn't" I placed my hand on her shoulder "it's ok I doubt any of us could do it" "Epsilon could" "Miranda he did it to protect us" "he killed the ones he called Brothers without a second thought" "he still loved them he even allowed Isaac to bond with him" she stood and removed her helmet "Ada I can't kill my Family it was hard enough to leave them in Rapture but killing them is just too much".

I looked down and turned before scratching my head "we'll go find the others and we'll talk about what to do" "do you think it was a good idea to leave Rapture" I turned to face her and grabbed her "Miranda-" "do you... look at what's happened we have these creatures hunting us and they're deadlier than Splicers, Epsilon almost died twice and Jacky has blood on his hands not to mention that Epsilon killed the rest of his Brothers except for Beta… we should've stayed if we had we could've banded together and made Rapture safer" "and look at what we've gained by coming here" we turned to face Epsilon and Beta "our younger siblings were able to play without Splicers trying to kill them, we got our first dog and we were able to live in peace for a time even now it's easier than Rapture we can actually sleep at night never having to worry about Splicers ambushing us sure we have our share of problems but that comes with the territory" "but Epsilon we're killing our-" "Miranda I was troubled when I realized I'd have to kill my Brothers to get here but I didn't want them to suffer in Rapture any more than we had so I decided to end it did I kill them yes but they no longer have to suffer even Isaac had to keep them all calm when he was there… I tried to convince them that staying here is better but they didn't listen so I had no other choice but to end their lives before going back to Rapture".

She looked away and I looked at her "alright Epsilon I understand it's just that I've never had kill them before" he walked to her and placed a hand on her shoulder, "neither did I but sometimes it has to be this way now c'mon we need to go find the rest of our sisters".

Epsilon's POV

I watched as Eleanor and Katie fought the Sister I had talked to and sighed "You all go find Jenny and Mackenzie I'll handle this" they gave me a nod and left, "Eleanor Katie stop" they looked over to me and I walked over to my sister as she sat up against a tree "go with the others I'll join up with you all in a bit" "Epsilon" "it's ok Eleanor now go" they left and I looked down at her.

I took my helmet off and knelt down "may I" she looked at me and gave me a nod so I removed her helmet and I looked into her glowing eyes, "you left us but you act as if we're family" "aren't we you're my sister and i'm your brother just because I left doesn't mean I forgot about any of you" she looked away and I frowned. "You wanted to come with us didn't you" she didn't respond so I continued "were you scared that we wouldn't accept you" "after what you did to our brothers how was I supposed to trust you" "...I didn't want to do that but... in all honesty killing them was mercy" she glared at me and grabbed me "HOW IS THAT MERCY" "BECAUSE THEY WERE SUFFERING DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG IT TOOK ME TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO HELP THEM... Beta was like them but I managed to save him but that was pure luck I tried to save others but their bodies couldn't handle it I almost gave up hope but them Beta came through however before I could tell the others they'd all given up hope I couldn't even save Isaac but I don't want to keep killing my Family so please" I grabbed her hands and looked at her "let me help you".

She pulled away and tackled me to the ground before I felt her needle against my neck "you liar you don't care about any of us" "Big Sister please don't hurt Big Brother" she turned to look at Jacky before back at me "if you believe I'm lying I'll let you kill me and you can take Jacky back with you to Rapture" her eyes went wide when I said this "go on make your choice Taylor".

Eleanor's POV

I looked down at my Sister's body and knelt down before removing her helmet, "we tried to talk sense into her but she wouldn't listen" Mackenzie said and I placed her helmet on her chest before placing her hands on the helmet. "The path to peace will not come without loss... I know that now" I moved some of the hair out of her face and kissed her forehead "she's with the rest of our family now" I stood and put my helmet on before turning and smiled when I saw Epsilon and Jacky along with Taylor, "I'm glad you're both alive" "so am I now Taylor how many of our Family are here" "um... about twenty eight but we got seperated by those creatures" "alright then how'd you all get up here" "our sisters swam while our uncles walked up here I don't know if we have any others coming though" "great... alright let's head back to camp and we'll come up with a plan there".
