Attention Beyblade Metal Fight Fandom! We have a problem. Beyblade is dying. And I don't mean just the show….the fandom is slowly disappearing. There were very few of us to begin with, and now there are even less! To prevent this, I've decided that we, the true Beyblade fans, need to act. If you still watch the Beyblade show and love the characters, if you will forever love Beyblade Metal Fight no matter how old you are, post this on your page:

COPY AND PASTE THIS ON YOUR PAGE IF YOU WILL FOREVER BE A BEYBLADE METAL FIGHT FAN AND YOU HAVE A TRUE BLADER'S SPIRIT!

Maybe if we show our pride, we can restore the Beyblade to its former glory. Maybe if we show the people who make the show how much we love it, they'll start to care about it too.

On another note, I finished Slivers of Light! Do you know what that means? More Beyblade Prom updates! Yaaaay! I've also started a Thor FanFiction, and if you are a Thor fan, I would greatly appreciate if you read and reviewed it.

And so the Beyblade Prom continues.

Kiyoko Ume found Aguma with Bao. No surprise there, really. They were standing side by side, drinking punch by the food tables.

Kiyoko thought it would be funny to scare Aguma, since he looked so peaceful. She also wanted him to look like he was having more fun.

He was dressed in a black suit, his muscles etched under the silk of his shirt noticeably. She couldn't help but smile, because both Aguma and his best friend looked like they wanted out.

Kiyoko crept up behind Aguma. She was much shorter, but she managed to leap up and throw her arms around his neck, expecting him to fall over. Instead, he stood rock solid and smiled. "Hello, Kio."

"Good day, Behemoth."

He turned around and took her hands. She felt a little thrill go up her spine, but hid it behind another grin. "Howd'ya like the singing?"

"I could have done better."

"Like hell you could, pal!" Bao slapped him on the shoulder.

"See? Bao agrees."

Kiyoko rolled her eyes. "Where's Neptune?" She asked Bao.

"She went somewhere with Abby. I'm not sure, really. Girls. I don't understand you."

"I don't understand me either." Kiyoko reassured. "They voted Dynamis the best singer, by the way."

Aguma snorted. "You're kidding."

Kiyoko shrugged. "Apparently. Gingka and Madoka got best duet, Anika and Tsubasa the runners up."

"Wow."

"Yeah."

Another song started blasting through the speakers. Bao ran to Neptune and Cynthia, who were emerging from a connecting room, leaving Kiyoko and her boyfriend alone. Kiyoko grabbed Aguma's arm and dragged him into the whirl of dancing. He didn't resist much.

"I want to go Beyblade." Kiyoko complained.

"There should be a beyblading competition coming up soon."

Kiyoko grinned. "Is that a challenge?"

"It was a fact."

"Challenge, Behemoth."

"I could crush you."

"You could, Mr. Beylin Fist." Kiyoko pulled him into a whirl. "You want to go start the competition?"

Aguma furrowed his eyebrows. "What do you mean?"

"Well, I want you to have fun, Brawn."

"I am having fun." Aguma countered, and Kiyoko smiled.

"Please, Brawn?"

"Why do you always end up getting me in trouble?"

"We're not in trouble yet." Kiyoko laughed.

Aguma grinned and kissed her. "We will be, though. It's a given."

It didn't take much stealth for Kiyoko to creep up onto the now-empty stage and sneak the microphone away from the DJ, who gave her a dirty look and made a move to stop her, only to be distracted by a student wanting to request a song. Kiyoko and Aguma then proceeded over the stadiums.

Aguma managed to scavenge a scoreboard from one of the gymnasiums and Kiyoko set up the beystadiums so that they were battle ready. Then she put the microphone to her lips and called, "Aaaaaalll righty then!"

Half the heads in the room turned to her. The rest kept on dancing.

Kiyoko cleared her throat and tried again. "Let's get ready for beybattles!" She called.

Seventy percent of the room was paying attention to her now. Thirty percent continued to ignore her, which irked Kiyoko, who liked to be the centre of attention. Aguma must have seen her annoyance, because he grabbed the microphone from her hand and yelled, "CAKE!"

The dance floor went silent. Even the DJ turned down the music.

Kiyoko almost burst out laughing at the incredulous looks on their faces. They looked like puppies that had just seen the hugest bone. She took the microphone back from Aguma and said loudly, "Just kidding!"

Grumbles went up.

"But! We have a Beyblade competition that will start soon! All the participants are to sign up with Aguma!"

"Kio, you know Dr. Sideburn doesn't want us beyblading!" Yuki warned. "If he catches us…."

"Hey, it's not Dr. Sideburn's prom! It's ours!" Kio answered. "So, let's get out Beyblade on!"

Half of the party proceeded to crowd Kiyoko and the DJ, signing in their names for the tournament.

Kiyoko nudged Aguma. "Hey, thanks."

Aguma looked surprised. "What for?"

"For supporting me." Kiyoko said sincerely.

Aguma smiled softly, which looked strange on him, as he was such an intimidating persona usually. "Any time."

In a moment, the tournament had started. The loud clang of Beyblade on Beyblade filled the whole place, louder than any music the DJ could muster. Kiyoko joined in soon, battling against Blader after Blader. For the first time that night, Aguma looked like he was almost having fun. Almost.

But something was still missing.

Suddenly, there was a loud bang, and a voice hollered, "WHATIN THE BLAZES IS GOING ON HERE?"

"Crap." Kiyoko muttered.

All heads turned to Dr. Sideburn, who was standing in the entryway to the prom, looking odd surrounded by pretty decorations, with his face red and fists clenched.

"MIZZ KIYOKO AND MISTER BRAWN. I LEAVE FOR ONE DARNED MINUTE AND THEN THIS HAPPENS! WHAT ARE WE? A ZOO?! THAT'S IT, THE PROM IS OVER!"

Silence. Finally, Kiyoko laughed. "I'm sorry Professor Mikhnovsky, what was that? I don't think I heard. You weren't shouting loud enough. Did anyone hear that?" She asked the crowd of girls and boys in fancy dresses and suits, all holding beyblades.

Wanda shook her head. "Nope."

Kiyoko didn't think it was possible for Dr. Sideburn to get any redder. He did.

"GET OVER HERE!" He hollered and burst across the room, knocking past people. He stretched his arms out, ready to grab Kiyoko, but Aguma knocked his arms aside and yelled "Run!"

He took Kiyoko's hand and took off, out of the door and into the school hallways. Behind them, Kiyoko could hear laughter and the loud cursing of Dr. Sideburn, who was running after them faster than Kiyoko thought possible.

Aguma maneuvered Kiyoko down into Principal Ryo Hagane's hallway.

"What are you doing?" Kiyoko yelled at him. "The last thing we need is Principal Hagane to find us running from one of the most renowned teachers!"

She heard Aguma laugh and pant at the same time. "I know…what….I'm….doing!"

"Do…you!?" Kiyoko was beginning to pant too, but she could still hear Dr. Sideburn behind them, and he was not slowing down. She suddenly felt how ridiculous her situation was, and started laughing loudly.

Aguma gave her a funny look and suddenly jerked her into an empty classroom. "Stay down." He hissed.

"Yes, Agent 007." Kiyoko muttered. "What are you doing?"

Aguma put a finger to his lips. "Trust me."

He looked like he was listening for something, so Kiyoko did too.

She could heard Dr. Sideburn's hiss. "Where are the bloody bastards?" He muttered. "I hate those kids."

His footsteps stopped right in front of the classroom they were hiding in. Kiyoko sucked in a breath.

"Come on….come on…." Aguma whispered.

Suddenly, another pair of footsteps was heard, vibrating down the hallway.

"Yes." Aguma exclaimed quietly. Kiyoko cast him a questioning glance.

"Professor Mikhnovsky! Could you explain why you are chasing my students?"

It was Principal Ryo.

Dr. Sideburn stammered, "Um…well…."

"And why were you cursing?" Ryo asked.

"The nasty kids were beyblading in the Prom!"

Kiyoko heard Ryo laugh. "Ha! Well, Professor, could you tell me what the name of this school is?"

"M-Metal….High?" Dr. Sideburn stammered.

Kiyoko grinned. "Busted!" She said quietly.

Aguma nudged her. He was shaking with silent laughter.

Ryo continued, "Yes. Metal High, Academy for Talented…..what?"

"Talented Bladers." Dr. Sideburn finished gloomily.

"Exactly. Now, I hope I won't hear about you chasing my students anymore."

"B-but…."

"Right?"

"Yes, Principal."

Kiyoko and Aguma waited until the footsteps receded. Then Aguma sprang up and opened the door a crack. He beckoned to her. "They're gone."

"Yeah!" Kiyoko exclaimed, pumping her fist in the air. "Take that, Sideburn!"

Aguma chuckled. "I have an feeling he won't be targeting us in class anymore."

Aguma gave Kiyoko a fist bump, which then turned into a light kiss. "Good job, Brawn." Kiyoko commented. I wonder how our improvised Beyblade tournament is doing?"

"Let's go see! Last I checked, it was supposed to be Merulia vs someone when we left…."

"I hope Mer won." Kiyoko said. She took Aguma's huge hand in her small one and they set off down the hallway. Suddenly, Kiyoko asked, "Having fun?"

She heard Aguma laugh. "You see, I always have fun with you around. It's my secret"

Kiyoko looked ahead, trying to hide her smug smile.
