"Ok that settles it, you are a physic" Naru informs, smiling up at the girl in front of him.

"I am?!" Mai yelled, sounding unsure and above all, surprised. Naru nodded, taking her hand in his.

"This explains all the times when you somehow knew who was at the door at the hospital, and maybe how you managed to tell the difference between me and my brother. I believe you can feel auras"

"I thought I was just good at guessing..." Mai smiled, rubbing the back of her head. She sighed, before leaning her head on Naru's chest. "Does that mean... " Mai stopped to look down at her swollen tummy "Will be physic too?"

"Considering we are, it would make sense" Naru nodded, kissing his wife on the cheek. "Seems like just yesterday we were in Japan, trying to make us work"

Mai nodded, feeling the same. It hadn't been just yesterday however, it had been nearly two years. She smiled again, her lips pressed lightly on Naru's neck. "I'm glad"

"Me too. At any rate, we better go back home. Mother would kill me if she found out I even took you here" Naru winced.

"She wont if I tell her it was all my idea" Mai argued, standing up and stretching tiredly.

"She will find a way to blame me, even if I can't say no to you" Naru sighed, taking Mai's hand in his and leading her genially to his car.

It wasn't a long drive but even so, Mai found herself falling asleep. Naru glanced at her every once in a while, making sure her sleep stayed peaceful. "I love you Mai" He muttered, recalling fond memories of their wedding day... Gene walked Mai down the isle and smiled, genially happy for them. Luella had burst out crying as soon as she saw the pure love in her son, and daughter in laws, eyes. Even his father had chocked down a sob.

He still couldn't believe such an amazing girl would pick him...

It was only a few weeks after Mai and Naru got together that he proposed. He knew it may have been soon, but they had never parted once since being together, and he knew Mai was the one.

It was raining that day. Mai and Naru were in a small flat they had rented until they moved back to England, to give them some time together. Mai had seemed confused and uncomfortable. He hadn't let her put money towards it, which made her feel like a charity case again. After being there for a week, Mai decided she wanted some fresh air, and walked out to the street without telling Naru. He had worried, but quickly picked up the first coat he found and ran out into the rain to find her. Mai wasn't in a coat, and didn't look fazed by the water running down her face. Naru quickly took off his coat and put it on her. He remembered asking her 'what she was doing out here?' And told her 'you're was gonna catch a cold'. Mai shook her head, saying she didn't know why she had... She put her hands in the pockets of the coat, and by her shock, Naru remembered what he had so recklessly left in there. Mai pulled out the small box. Naru hadn't had the nerve to actually propose, but seeing as he could no longer hide it... He held his hand out for the box, and once Mai placed it in his hand, he got down on one knee, and opened the small black box. Inside was a ring that was as elegant as it was beautiful. It was silver, with a lily shape decoration. A big diamond surrounded by smaller ones under them, the silver shape was made from silver, but coloured so you could see different colours emerging from the middle.

Mai had looked down at him, her face wet, and her hair dripping. She was confused, then Naru uttered the words Mai had longed to hear... 'Will you marry me?'. Mai had jumped into his arms, and pressed her lips against his, before pressing her head against his. She had asked something silly about if he was sure, and when he confirmed that he was, Mai squealed and nodded, tears in her eyes...

Naru still smiled at the memory. Mai was his, and he was Mai's. Forever...
