Multikill: Killtacular

The fourth story of the Multikill series, but by far the best one so far. Follows the story of Phoenix team, a group of Marines who have the hardest job in the UNSC, following orders and taking out fellow UNSC members that ONI wants gone, then taking the blame for 'acting out on their own'. But what happens when they finally do act out on their own? Feel free to review.

25. Chapter 25

Osci walked into the control room to see his team talking about their next mission. "We still have wounded, we can't go after Fitzgerald with this many wounded." Reaper didn't seem interested in sending his soldiers to fight the UNSC without as many soldiers as possible.

"The longer we wait, the more wounded we get, we only have to kill Fitzgerald and General Aden, then it doesn't matter anymore, with them gone, ONI won't control the UNSC anymore. We only need a small team." Karl had taken control of the team while Osci was gone.

Osci joined the conversation "We have three Spartans, we did have five. Karl is right, waiting will just make us weaker. The question is, how do we find them?"

"They are on Earth, Aden is making some kind of massive announcement."

"So then it's the same thing as the last general, sniper shot from far away. Then we just need to find a way to take out Fitzgerald before he can get away."

"He won't be far from the General, Dream will probably be there too."

The plan was simple, Osci finds high ground with Karl to back him up. Then Chris and Styx scouting to give intel, and Reaper and Sleet on evac.

Doom, Naomi and Rogue would be going after Fitzgerald in a warthog. If something went wrong, then both hunters from the Inquisitor would be in drop pods and ready to drop down for backup.

The hard part was going to be getting onto the planet without alerting anybody. They had to head back to Nigel four and obtain a pelican.

"How can the Spartans take out Fitzgerald without alerting the rest of the UNSC, and still get back to the pelican before the UNSC comes after us?" Osci was the first to find a flaw in their plan, they had to keep the pelican a safe distance away from the whole mission.

Karl laughed at Osci. "Doom has asked me to build him a new warthog. We call it Big Barry, it took some damage last time Doom drove it, but we are confident it will work fine with the current repairs."

The Inquisitor arrived at Nigel four with no issues, the covenant had assumed it was one of their ships. The ship entered the surface of the planet and dropped Styx and the two hunters at one of the bases. They came back on a pelican a few minutes later, the team geared up for their mission as the Inquisitor headed towards Earth. They hooked the Big Barry up to the Pelican, the Spartans would be the only ones with a vehicle.
