Hey all Heartbreakerninja here,

I has returned! With another crazy chapter in this maddening story. Its a longish chapter but not the longest chapter. I've had this done for a while but have been reading it over and over because I didn't really want to end it on another clip hanger. Unfortunate it is a stubborn chapter and wanted to be ended they way it wanted to be ended. No if and or buts about it. Heroka wanted to continue to hog the spot light!

I hope you enjoy this next chapter and without further ado here is the next chapter in The Return of The Ring of Arc!

*Still with Dante and the guild*

Jason nodded to Dante as he motioned to the rest of the children to let Dante's team pass. He and the other 2 older children followed behind the team silently as they reached the door.

Dante took a calming breath before reaching out and tuning the door handle. To his surprise and confusion, it was locked from the inside. He tried again with the same result. Panic would have soon followed if Doctor Heroka hadn't at that moment unlocked the door and pulled it opened for them. He looked out looking surprised by the number of people outside.

"Did I miss something or did your team triple in size?" Heroka asked Dante with such a straight face it was almost comical. Dante shook his head before hitching a thumb up to the group behind him.

"No they are another group that was worried about Lok as well. Don't worry only the 3 oldest will be coming in with us. How's he doing?" Dante informed the surprised doctor before asking the question on all their minds. Dr. Heroka nodded solemnly before stepping aside to let the group through.

"Come on in and then we can discuss that question more in depth." Dr. Heroka said in a calm tone that put Zhalia on edge. She didn't know why but something about the doctor didn't sit right with her. He looked normal enough. If ruggedly good-looking and well-built was a norm for doctors anyway. Seriously did this guy model on the side? Zhalia shook her head. Those were thoughts for a later time; right now Lok's health and safety were more important at the moment.

Once the group was in the room the doctor closed the door behind them, but not before the small gray wolf pup and what looked to be a black boxer puppy slipped in just as the door closed. No one seemed to noticed, which suited the pups just fine as they quietly but quickly made their way behind the group. The child's well-being was just as important to them as it did to the human seekers.

Heroka let out a tired sigh before turning towards the group. In the time it took for them to enter the room and for him to turn around the group had taken up strategic positions around the ailing boy.

Dante had taken position farthest from the door on Lok's immediate right. This put Zhalia on the boy's left and Sophie nearest himself by the door. The 3 new comers, that Heroka could only assume were the 3 eldest of the Pandora's guild, stood near the wall on the opposite of the bed. He couldn't be sure exactly of which house each child was from even after taking in their looks and attire.

From what data he did have he could only assume that one of them was of the house of Zeus. But which child was the child of Zeus was uncertain. He knew from the Intel they did have on the guild that the child of Zeus was a male child and that he was one of the older members of the guild. So he had to be one of the two boys in the room.

Heroka turned his eyes to the remaining female in the room. The girl would have to be either a daughter of Athena or Aphrodite. Since most of the Sisters of Aphrodite where blond, tall, skinny young ladies he would have to assume this shorter girl would have to be a daughter of Athena. He would have to be leery of her as all the children of Athena were trained to be calm, patient, and wise enough to be able to strategize a plan for any situation. She would be a force to be reckoned with.

Heroka scanned the room for his options if he would need to make a quick getaway and whether he could grab the boy on the way out or not. The Professor would not be happy if he was to fail in his mission and lose one of the three ring holders. So far, his cover was holding up. What happened from here would decide on whether he would be able to pull this off.

Heroka turned back to the boy on the bed. He seemed to be sleeping peacefully, unlike when they first brought him in. He'd have to wait till the sedative he'd given him earlier to wear off before he'd get any idea what the boy had seen. The anomalies he seen in the boy's system was still bothering him. All the curses were supposed to have been removed from the ring. Could there have been something that had been missed? Something that was added later for the one who would eventually bond with the ring's titan? And if so who added it to the ring and when? Was it before or after Dante's team had recovered it? There were a lot of variables that didn't add up. On top of that there was also Pandora's guild to contend with. The best of the best of the children of the ancient Greek Seeker families. They were the protectors and sometimes keepers of the rings. They were also the protectors of Pandora's Box and the secrets of the Greeks. The only groups stronger than them was the Council of Pandora and The Three Kings, The leaders of the families.

Heroka looked back at the two boys of Pandora's guild. One of them, if not both, had a destiny of kings. One of them was either the king of Might, Compassion, or Reason. The other could be one as well. Either way Heroka would have to keep an eye on all of them. Any one of these children had the power to destroy just about any enemy in their path. He would have to tread softly from here on out if he was going to succeed. He couldn't afford to fail.

See what I mean! *points to chapter above* Heroka wants to be a spot light hog!

I hope you enjoyed this chapter. Bits and pieces are being added to the puzzle that is the Guild of Pandora and their Families hierarchy [ooh big word]. Just what is this mysterious anomaly in Lok's system and how is it effecting him?! You'll just have to wait till the next chapter to find out!
