Author's Notes: I've been dodging the question regarding their age for quite some time now. Like with Brick's hair, I never gave it any thought, but since I want something to put here, The PowerRuffs are at that age where they're in the grade which teaches the Pythagorean Theorem in math; how earth metals react in water in science; and how a four-stroke internal combustion engine works*. What grade is that you ask? I can't remember, I think it was grade…um… hey look a new chapter.
"Come on! Come on!" Blossom urged as she led Brick, who was carrying Jack, through the city. "We have to stop E-Male from getting his hands on the largest source of power left in the city!"
"I could go faster, if I were to ditch this carry on" Brick commented.
"You better not!" Jack protested. "You'll need my laptop in order to administer the worm cluster to destroy the virus plaguing E-Male!"
"Okay" Brick said. "I'll drop you, and catch your computer." Jack gritted his teeth nervously, causing Brick to laugh. "Relax I was only joking. Honestly I don't see what the hurry is, it's not like there's much power left in Townsville anyway."
"You forget" Blossom said. "There's still the self-sufficient geothermal plant right in the middle of the city!"
"What are you talking about?" Brick said. "The middle of Townsville is…" he soon came to the realization that Blossom had. "…Oh."
"Mojo Jojo's volcano lair!" Blossom finished his thought. "Who knows just how much power is at his disposal."
"Then what are we doing wasting our time here?" Brick said, increasing his flight speed. "Let's go!" he caught up to Blossom and, using his free hand, grabbed her by the waist, and flew off at max speed. The usual trail of red light that followed him was accompanied by stars and smoke.
Brick crashed through the roof of Mojo's lair, Jack and Blossom were being carried in each of his arms. Already inside stood E-Male, in front of the exposed volcanic crater and Mojo Jojo's elaborate generator, designed to harness the power of the volcano.
"Ah, here's our guests of honour now" E-Male said to them. "You're right on time! It's a shame you're still too late to stop me!"
"E-Male!" Jack said. "Come on listen to me! This isn't you! You're not a villain, you're a hero! You need to fight this!"
"It's no use, Jack!" E-Male said. "The E-Male you know can't hear you! What I say goes now, and I say let the energy flow!" he lifted his hands in the air and the generator began spinning faster. Arcs of electricity shot out of it and into E-Male. The added power caused him to grow in size and before long he was towering over Blossom, Brick and Jack.
"Uh" Blossom sighed. "Why do they always have to grow bigger? Do they honestly believe that they have a better chance of defeating us just because they're bigger?"
Brick turned to her. "Now hang on just a second" he said. "I happen to think that yeah, you are more likely to destroy your enemies if you're bigger."
"That's because you're full of crap!" Blossom argued. "When does growing in size ever work?"
While the two argued, an electric field formed around E-Male's right hand. Out of fear Jack hid behind a large machine. The field around E-Male's hand disappeared into it, and E-Male fired the electric charge at Blossom and Brick.
The two jumped out of the way, their focus not on the one who shot at them, but still at each other.
"Remember when me Butch and Boomer came back to life?" Brick said to Blossom. "We grew in size and almost flattened you!"
"But you didn't!" Blossom shot back at him while ducking under another electric charge fired at her. "We, Bubbles, Buttercup and I, managed to take you down just the same!"
"Is arguing all you two ever do!?" Jack shouted, while still cowering under cover.
"No, not all the time" Blossom answered. "We actually do agree with each other, sometimes!" she dodged more shots fired at her. "Isn't that right Brick?"
"Occasionally" Brick said, also weaving through the shots fired at him. "Look, why don't you just worry about getting that computer virus into him?"
"Oh right" Jack said. He took his laptop out and ran out into the open. "Hey E-Male!" he shouted. "I have a tasty computer right here! With a full charge!"
E-Male stopped firing on Brick and Blossom and turned to face him. "Hah!" he laughed, in a voice much deeper than before. "I have the power generator of a super villain at my disposal! Do you really think I need your pathetic battery?" to accent his point, E-Male raised his hand to Jack and shot at him.
Blossom quickly swooped down to pick him up. "That quite work as planned." She said. "We'll have to think of another way to administer the virus."
"Like what?" Jack said. "It's not we can just throw the virus on the generator now could we?"
"Why not?" Brick quipped. "Aren't you supposed to be some sort of hacking genius?"
Jack was momentarily left speechless by Brick's suggestion. "You have no idea how computers work, do you?"
"What, you can't do it?" Blossom said. "And you call yourself a cyber-criminal?"
"Fine, I'll find a way to put a computer virus on a power generator" Jack submitted. "But you'll have to distract him while I work my magic!"
"Naturally" Blossom put him down on the ground and flew up to E-Male's eye level. "So!? What's with the supersize? You compensating for something?"
E-Male's response to this was to swat Blossom down. She easily slipped through his fingers, escaping unscathed.
"Not even a scratch" Brick remarked. "You were a bigger threat when you weren't the size of a building!"
"Aha!" Blossom proclaimed, while down below Jack connected his laptop to Mojo's generator. "So you admit that being bigger doesn't make you better!"
In his bedroom, Mojo Jojo slept soundly, Ride of the Valkyries played over a stereo at his bedside.
Bang Bang Bang**
"What!?" Loud crashing noises caused Mojo to shoot awake, panicked. He scanned his room for the source of the noise. Finding nothing, he rationalizes that he imagined the noise rested his head back on his pillow and tried to return to sleep.
Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang
When a second series of noises woke him up, Mojo resolved to get out of bed to investigate. Still in his pajamas, he left his bedroom and moved to the main chamber. There he saw Blossom and Brick flying through the air, arguing with each other while being careful not to get hit by the electric shots fired by the enlarged creature, that even Mojo recognized as the A.W.S.M member E-Male, who had grown in size thanks to his power generator, which was being messed with by some kid who Mojo's never seen before.
Mojo decided to investigate the kid at his generator. We walked across the room, going unnoticed by Blossom, Brick and E-Male.
"And then there was the time Mojo turned my sisters and I into giants! We couldn't take two steps without breaking something."
"That was probably the point!"
Mojo looked over Jack's shoulder to the computer in front of him. It was connected to his generator via a USB 2.0 and Mojo immediately recognized that he was attempting to upload a worm cluster into it.
Sighing, Mojo wrestled the computer out of Jacks hands.
"Hey! Give that back!" he protested.
Ignoring him, Mojo turned the laptop off. He then proceeded to take the battery out, walk towards the exposed volcanic crater and threw it in.
A strange reaction occurred when the battery hit the pool of lava. Blue static rippled across the lava, up through the generator and into E-Male.
"Agh!" E-Male cried out. His red figure faded and his blue one emerged.
Blossom and Brick stopped in their tracks and stared at E-Male receding to his normal size.
"What just happened?" Brick asked.
"I think Mojo just saved the day" Blossom answered. "Go figure."
E-Male eventually reverted back to his normal size, and Jack ran over to him. "What happened?" he asked rubbing the top of his head.
"You were corrupted by a malicious computer virus" Jack explained. "But you were saved! Thanks to…"
"The PowerPuff Girls!?" E-Male said recognizing Blossom.
"Yes, yes everything's fine and dandy know" Mojo said. "Now everyone! Get out of my house!" he noticed the hole that Brick made when they arrived. "I'm going to send Professor Utonium a bill for my roof in the mail!"
"Sir" E-Male said to Mojo. "I would like to express my sincerest apologies for any damages myself or these fine young hero's…"
"Get out!" Mojo shouted at them.
Author's Notes: okay be honest with me. This story is getting dull, tedious stupid, and boring isn't it? Its these repetitive action scenes, even I'm getting sick of just writing them! Imagine that! Me! Getting bored of Myself!? I'm the most egotistical man I know!
