The trumpets blared through the silence that had drawn upon this courtyard. The shifting of people's dresses and suits was all that could be heard as all 100 people stood up in their seats to show respect to the late former FBI agent. As the coffin came into view, it was clear it was wrapped in the American flag. It only seemed fitting; he fought every day to protect his fellow citizens. As the coffin was laid down six men either side of it placed their hand closest to it on the bottom and lifted it, a heavy weight bore on their shoulders. Agent Rossi, Agent Hotchner, Agent Reid, Ex-agent Gideon, Will and his old friend from home. As the men walked strongly together with Morgan above them their solemn faces turned darker. They then place the coffin down and the trumpets blared again. When they stopped the ruffling of paper was clearer as the late agent's sisters had gathered at the podium in front of his coffin.

"Friends, Family, we are here to celebrate the life and work of our beautiful and brave brother Derek Morgan. Derek cared for all of us, every single one of you that are here today and every single on that aren't. His life was lived shortly due to injustice." They took a deep breath before continuing to fight back their tears that burned down their cheeks.

"Derek always said he wanted to make a difference, and no matter what anyone says, I know, and we know, that he has, he's made the world a better and safer place, for you, for all of us, so the least we can do, is honor him today. My brother, our brother was a hero."

As the girls stepped down, tissues in hands, they made their way back to their seats. As the priest was about to make his speech, a cry came from the gathered. Ellie Spicer ran forward, tears rolling down her face, flower in hand, she ran and hugged Derek's coffin screaming through the pain.

"No, no NOOOO!" she was wrestling JJ and Emily who had ran forward pulling Ellie off gently.

"P, please he wa, was my hero, please!"

Ellie quietened down in the arms of Garcia who too was crying. In all the commotion, everyone has started crying, because they realized how much Derek meant, not just to them but to others.

Then in line, Prentiss, JJ, Garcia, Reid, Hotch, Rossi, Gideon and Elle stepped forward places white roses on his coffin parallel to each other, as it was the flower Morgan had chosen for Prentiss's funeral. The group of 8 stepped back together holding hands, and standing proudly above him. The priest finished his speech and for the last time the trumpets blared loudly as his body was lowered into the ground.

Goodbye Derek, Goodbye Old Friend, Goodbye Brother, Goodbye Son, Goodbye my hero, Goodbye.
