Jesús: "Hey there. Had type to time...TIME to TYPE...there we go. Sorry about that, my mind's been all over the place lately. Anyway, here's another chapter and so let's get started..." Chapter 25

Warning: this may be a bit of a boring chapter but I'll try to make it entertaining.

Raguna POV

Cinnamon and I started walking to the river, which conveniently enough was across from my neighborhood...

"Wow...I can see my house from here." I said locating my house from the riverbank.

"Yeah, I saw you walking out of your house a couple times before I started school." Cinnamon said and suddenly went red.

"What's the matter?" I asked her wondering why she went red.

"Don't worry about it...is just that sentence made me think that that could be easily mistaken as me stalking you." Cinnamon said

"Well like you told me a while back. For some reason the idea doesn't really seems to bother me...I wouldn't mind it if it was you." I replied and she went even redder.

Cinnamon shook her head brushing off her embarrassment and then she sat down on the grass near the edge of the river.

"Well then let's get started." Cinnamon said and put some bait on her fishing-pole.

"Ok, but how is this going to help me with Water Magic?" I asked

"Well, I'll be honest. Water is one of the easiest elements to learn. It's so easy that you don't even need to read any instructions. You see, the average human body is made up of 50-65% water. The human body in us, children becoming adults, would be somewhere around 45-60%. Since over a third of us is made up of water us being able to control water is a rather, and surprisingly, easy task. Water Magic can be learned quicker if you are exposed to water. Fishing is a good way for this since you get so see the way the water moves." Cinnamon started explaining as she started waiting for a bite.

"Then what about swimming? Doing that you would go into direct contact with the water. You can also see and feel the motion of the water that way..." I asked and Cinnamon tensed up.

"Fishing is my personal preference for two reasons. 1) You can use the time waiting for the fishes to bite meditating and maybe even increasing your Mana Reservoirs. And 2)..."she said and said number two in a really quiet whisper.

"What was that?" I asked

"Don't worry about it. Is nothing." Cinnamon said trying to divert my attention, which I did let off to the side.

"So in other words we can meditate while fishing to increase Mana as well as feel the natural flow of the water?" I asked

"Yes...eventually you can start trying to control the water like so..." Cinnamon said and raised her hand in the direction of the river and then waved her hand lightly side to side and she made a small wave.

"Awesome..." I said seeing what she had done.

"And eventually after enough practice with water control you can create water yourself." Cinnamon said and then held her hand in front of herself, palm up, and water started spilling from her hand like a small waterfall.

"So you just practice water control and you eventually can even create water?" I asked for confirmation and she nodded yes. "Ok, then I guess I better get started." I said and got the other fishing-pole Cinnamon had brought.

'Well it's sure been a while since I last went fishing...' i said to myself and baited my fishing-pole.

I casted the rod and then I started watching the water's flow. I investigated the way it moved and the speed it did so too. Looking at the water made my body feel calm and relaxed, almost as if watching the rain during a rainstorm. It was a melancholic yet soothing feeling. I soon closed my eyes and my mind went off to meditative state. The sound of the water in front of me calmed my mind and made it easier to enter a deep meditation state...

"Raguna?" Cinnamon's voice came through my ears.

"What?" I asked and ended my meditation as I started opening my eyes.

"We should probably start going back. Is starting to get dark." Cinnamon said

"Wow...just how long did I meditate?" I asked realizing that everything around was starting to get darker.

"I'd say we were fishing for about three hours. The whole time you were meditating though." Cinnamon said

"Oh...Sorry." I said

"Why are you apologizing?" Cinnamon asked

"I technically went to sleep on you." I said

"Don't worry about it. The heat didn't feel too bad and the sound of the flowing water was relaxing. You might as well have been asleep instead of meditating." Cinnamon said laughing.

"Well then, we should start walking." I said and got up.

"Right." Cinnamon said and tried to get up. When she put her foot down it was too close to the edge of the river and she slipped into the water.

"Cinnamon!" I yelled and I went over to the edge.

"Help me!" Cinnamon said as she flailed her arms in the water.

The river didn't look like much but it was pretty deep.

"What's the matter?" I asked her.

"Help me! I'm drowning." Cinnamon said and then she started sinking

"Whoa there." I said and jumped into the water to get her.

Once I got her out she was out cold.

"Cinnamon!? Cinnamon please answer." I said as I checked her breathing. "Oh no..." I said and started trying some basic CPR on her.

After a couple minutes she spat out a bunch of water and started coughing.

"Cinnamon is you ok?" I asked

"Yeah, I'll be ok." Cinnamon replied regaining her breath.

"What happened? Why didn't at least float back to shore?" I asked her again.

"About that..." Cinnamon started "I may not..."

"Wait. You mean you…" I started And then it hit me…

'Fishing is my personal preference for two reasons. 1) You can use the time waiting for the fishes to bite meditating and maybe even increasing your Mana Reservoirs. And 2) I…well I can't swim actually…' her voice echoed though my mind

"…can't swim?" I asked

"Yeah..." Cinnamon replied a bit ashamed and then her eyes started tearing up.

"Don't worry about it..." I started and hugged her trying to comfort her. "...Look, there are a lot of people who can't swim."

"Y-yeah but...is just frustrating..." Cinnamon said as she got louder and louder on her crying.

"Come on...We have to get dried up." I said and started walking her to my house, which like I mentioned earlier was just across the river so we used a near bridge.

We made it to my house and right away Mom fixed the bath up for Cinnamon and I just dried myself and changed clothes. Once Cinnamon got out of the bath she looked tired, Very likely from the crying.

"Dad…you think we can let her stay the night? Is dark out already and she just looks like she should get some sleep ASAP." I asked

"Yeah. I'll let Kain know about this." Dad said and then I walked Cinnamon to the guest room again.

Right away Cinnamon Laid on the bed and actually went to sleep as soon as her head touched the pillow.

"Sweet dreams Cinnamon. Hope you're all better tomorrow." I said and gave her a small kiss on the forehead and walked out the room.

Outside the door Dad was waiting for me.

"I told Kain what happened. Apparently this happened before and she was quiet for a few days. If anything seems off tomorrow try to help her get back to normal." Dad said

"Yeah. I'll try..." I said. "Hey Dad…you think we can have a "special talk" in the back yard?" I asked my dad and he looked surprised I said that...

"Are you sure? Is been a while since we've done this..." Dad asked

"Yeah..." I said and then he just nodded and walked away.

Jesús: "That's it for this update. I remembered that in the game it was hinted that Cinnamon didn't know how to swim so I figured I'd go with something like this. I hope you all liked it and come back next time for another update. See Ya!"
