The kids used the pulley system and dumbwaiters to get to a higher floor, they stopped at the third floor and hopped off and out of their transportation.
"What was that about?!" Maria asked, a bit out of breath.
"Annie...Angie...personality-". Edgar started.
"Multiple...Annie...bad one…." Orville tried to finish.
"I think I might be able to translate their mumbling…-". Sarah stated, everyone turned to her, giving their full attention out of curiosity.
"Angie, she must have multiple personalities…. I read a lot, that's how I know…".
"Yeah...that." Orville and Eddie said in sync.
"I thought it was just a rumor for twins to talk in sync…". Maria wondered.
"I DO NOT TALK IN SYNC WITH HIM!" Spoken in sync as the two boys point to each other and grind teeth. Sarah rubs her forehead in annoyance.
"Do you two know what causes her to change in between personalities?" Sarah asked. Eddie opened his mouth to answer but Orville cupped it and pushed his brother behind him to answer her question.
"Her hair."
"Huh?!" Everybody except Eddie and Orville asked.
"When her hair is in braids, she's Angie, when her hair is out, that's Annie, when her hair is in a ponytail, that's John."
"John? You mean like a BOY personality?!" Ellie and Maria asked in surprise. Orville pushes up his glasses with a sigh.
"Sounds rather perverted to me." Alice said...Maria and Alice both turned to look at Eddie, Maria, VERY steamed.
"What?...What?" Said with a very fakely innocent voice by Eddie. Orville rolls his eyes as Maria glares. He looks her in the eye and smirks, she turns disgusted as her right eye starts madly twitching.
"So then...what do we do?" Ellie asked.
"Avoid her whenever you see her hair not in a braid." Orville explained.
"We'd have to be at least VAGUELY close to see what style her hair is in!" Maria yelled.
"She's...ummm...well...kinda NOT well, to put it sorta bluntly." Orville half answered.
"She's a psychopath!" Edgar filled in the other half of Orville's answer. Orville feels the need to glare at his brother...then sighed in aggravation and pinched his nose with a groan.
"Other than her personalities, what true reason do you have to back up that statement?" Sarah asked Edgar with an inspecting and skeptical face.
"Well…-". Orville cupped Eddie's mouth, instead of struggling against his grip his eyes just turn in Orville's direction to glare at him then spits on his hand and immediately Orville lets go. Sickened, he wipes the spit on Eddie's shirt as opposed to his own. The two glare at each other. Sarah thumps Orville's head and Maria thumps Edgar's.
"OW!"
"Now tell us what's going on with Angie, why would the old hag allow a nut job with MPD to live in this house?!" Maria asked, growing impatient.
"Simple…: Pity." Edgar answered. Maria was beginning to understand what he was saying but wasn't about to believe all of this unless she got some real proof.
"She doesn't look that pitiful…". Maria stated.
"She is, trust me…." Edgar responded. Maria was at a loss for words but decided to go along with it.
"Believe us when we say...you don't want to experiment with her emotions...who knows what you might trigger...and I hope for your sake that nothing bad will befall you." Orville looked at Sarah while he said this. Sarah didn't notice while Orville blushed, Edgar couldn't help but smirk at his brother. Orville turned to glare at him.
"Alright then...I guess there's no more explaining to be done…. So without further ado, I'll be headed to bed now. See 'ya clones…." Maria told them.
"TWINS!"
"Whatever…." She responded as she limps away. Alice walks over to steady her. Edgar sees opportunity as he starts toward her, but before he can take a second step forward…. Rafael grabs him by the collar of his shirt from behind, fire burning with hatred in his eyes. Orville resists laughter while his brother gets dragged toward a pitch black hallway. He heads to his room to sleep as well.
I apologize for this chapter being as incredibly short as the latest one in Prisoners of the darkness...
