"Yosh, it shall be a most honorable fight against you fair kunoichi." Lee shouted in exuberance at Kiko as they met in the arena.
"Honor has no place in a ninja battle," replied Kiko in an equally loud tone, and then in her exuberance continued, "unless you wanna have a Betrothal Battle."
"Betrothal Battle," Lee questioned, "that is a strange name for a battle."
The discussion the two were having caught many attendants ears, and the Hokage stood quite suddenly at the mention of a Betrothal Battle.
"No," the old man said in a strong voice, "you are not to challenge that boy with such a binding contract." He directed his command to the copper haired girl, but was obviously warning all the Nadeshiko women. This caught their attention, and made Kiko shift in a guilty manner; she was just doing her job as a ninja of her village, no reason for the old man to get his knickers in a twist.
"Yosh, I accept you most youthful challenge!" Lee suddenly shouted, breaking the tension.
This caused Kiko's head to snap in his direction. "Really," she questioned in an anxious tone, "You'll accept a Betrothal Battle?" a grin snuck onto her chubby face, giving her an innocent appearance. "That is awesome." She finished before getting into her battle position, an open stance with her hands guarding her face and chest and her feet spread to distribute her weight wide.
The battle then began, with Lee charging with a strong taijustu attack, his impressive strength pushing Kiko back but not knocking her over, her feet skidding against the floor, and soon pushing into it with the continuous barrage from Lee.
The kicks and punches, enough to break a normal man's bones, simply bruised Kiko, but the momentum still caused her to move in the direction of the forceful attacks. The tall girl grit her teeth as she hit a wall, the strange boy's attacks were getting annoying. When the boy prepared a spinning kick, Kiko ducked and the green clad boys foot connected with the wall, creating a deep crater.
Kiko then began to duck and roll, maneuvering around the strong boy's attacks and began to back him into a corner.
"Why are you not attacking?" the exuberant boy questioned as one of his shattering punched connected with her ribs, but the lack of crunches worried the black haired boy.
This question made Kiko smile widely at her opponent, causing Leo to shiver when her caught site of it. He remembered the last time she smiled like that; he ended up with a concussion and a month hospital stay and learned to never refer to her as a cow.
Kiko pulled her hand together in a quick succession of signs, ending in a 'hare' sign, and then called out "Speed Level 3". This technique caused the muscles in her legs to bulge with the sudden chakra increase, and she suddenly blurred out of sight, attacking her opponent in a barrage of heavy punches and cutting kicks.
Lee blocked many of her attacks, but when a punch landed or a kick found its target the damage began to build. The boy's green body suit was starting to get cut when a hit landed or when Kiko's attacks missed by a hair the chakra surrounding her fists and feet left residual effects.
This pattern repeated itself, a give and take of attacks and blocks by both Lee and Kiko, it seemed as though Kiko was having fun with this fight.
"Hurry up," Leo yelled out, "We do not have all day to watch you flirt!"
"Shut UP!" the flustered girl screamed out before boosting her speed again, she needed to end this fight before her chakra reserves ran dry.
The black haired boy leapt back onto the railing, and unhooked his leg warmers, before dropping the weights hidden underneath. With a burst of blinding speed the self-proclaimed 'Green Beast' released a barrage onto the sweating copper haired girl.
She was running out of chakra fast, Kiko knew how this fight would end as soon as she saw the boy's speed, but damn it all if she would lose without taking the enemy with her.
As the hits rained down, bruises slowly building onto the copper haired girl's strong body, her hands blurred into a pattern of signs before she pulled back. Taking a deep breath the girl swallowed what appeared to be a solider pill and pulled all her chakra reserves for the technique.
"Ox Strength" was shouted by the girl, before she went for a punch. Lee dodged back, and when the punch landed on the ground it split and shook the earth within the concentrated area, leaving a crater no larger two feet in radius, but deep enough to swallow a child whole.
"She is serious." Was all Meigestu had to say for the point to be made; someone was not making it out of the fight in one piece.
The punches and kicks rained, with Lee barely dodging, and all it took was one misstep.
"BINGO!" Kiko growled in a chakra fueled voice, deep and sharp like a whip, cracking through the air and cutting into her enemy. The punch landed. Lee went flying through the air, conscious lost once the super charged fist made contact with his skull, cracking it severely. The now concussed boy hit the far wall with dangerous speed and torque, snapping bones and ligaments, muscles stretching and ripping. The sound was sickening and medics rushed to the boy before the match was called.
Kiko passed out almost a second after her punch had landed; the enemy was incapacitated, so her part of battle was complete. The chakra exhaustion would be a bitch later, but she won and that was all that mattered in her mind.
