Hello. I lost badly to my dad in shuffleboard so I'm recovering posting this chapter. Thank you CuddlyChristina for helping me.

Rex and her both laughed at the same time.
"You seem quite honest with your words." he told her.
Seika smiled, and replied, "Thanks, Rex. I'm glad you feel the same way."
Her cuteness made him blush.
The film eventually ended, and as Rex and Seika left the movie theater, she couldn't help but hold his hand, possessing a faint blush on her cheeks. He couldn't help but smile at her, making her smile back.
This was more smiling in five minutes than he's smiled all year.
"I find it funny you used to be pretty aloof, but it looks like you're really starting to open up to others." Seika told him.
"Pretty much; thanks for telling me that. So, can I take you home?" Rex asked.
She nodded her head with a smile on her face.
Rex then escorted her back to her house, and kissed her goodbye. "See you tomorrow." he said.
"See you." Seika replied.
He then took off for his house, returning home as he kicked off his shoes while entering inside. Being blind people think he's sleeping all the time, but Rex always kept his eyes open to experience life. He was tired. Thus, he changed into some lighter clothes after having dinner with his family, and went to sleep later on that night.
He had a dream about running through a purple land with something burrowing through the ground and creating ripples. Rex stood still as the mysterious object emerged from the ground, revealing a pretty girl who vaguely resembled Seika, sporting fairy wings on her back.
He had no idea if she was there to help or there to make things worse. She approached him, and wrapped her arms around him. Leaning in to kiss him softly, this prompted him to nearly flinch, but he melted into the kiss, anyway. He was completely blank and yet turned on.
Just as he was about to make out with her, however, something cut Rex's dream short as he awoke to an odd sound. He raced towards his wooden kendo sword since he believed it was only an intruder. The intruder happened to be a very stealthy, very agile Hollow. It was in the middle of looking for human prey to feast on, thought Rex was sure to find it.
Rex could see it with his spiritual eyes. It looked more human than many other Hollows. When he finally got to it, it was in Kikue's room, about to eat her flesh. However, it heard his footsteps, and it turned to face him.
Rex had never been scared of a Hollow before and even though he didn't have the right weapon...he wouldn't be now. The Hollow lunged after him, and Rex made his first move by slashing at it in the head with his sword. The move was a backfire as something sharp sliced through the kendo sword.
The Hollow had a brain that was literally sharp as a knife, and Rex knew that he needed to come up with a strategy to destroy it.
The Hollow pushed into Rex's chest sending him flying back.
His back hit against a wall, and looked as though he was about to get hit, until Kikue awoke. She was able to find a katana of hers (she had been training), and she heard Rex yelling, "Don't slice its head!"
Kikue flinched at the sound of her brother screaming.
"Are you okay?!" she asked.
"I am...thanks for making the save, though!" Rex replied.
Kikue nodded, before the Hollow turned to face her. With her katana in hand, she struck at its legs, making it let out a somewhat loud shriek of pain.
The Hollow felt enraged a little girl could do that much damage to it.
"Kikue, I found out that this Hollow's brain is as sharp as a ginsu knife." Rex told her.
"So you're saying we need something like bullets or arrows to destroy it?" Kikue asked.
"Perhaps..." he replied.
They didn't have the time to find those things, or maybe they could surprise the Hollow with something that would make it leave.
"Maybe we can scare it off; what do you think?" Kikue asked.
"Sounds good." Rex replied.
The Hollow raises its arms before trying to grab the two children beneath it.
"Who's making all that noise?!" A voice called out.
Before the Hollow knew it, it flinched as it sensed another person. This time, it was Rex and Kikue's mother, holding a harisen in her hand. "Are you trying to sneak into our house?! Get out!" she exclaimed.
The Hollow hissed like a 90s horror monster at her.
"I said get out!" she commanded.
The Hollow growled, and immediately fled the house, hopefully never to be seen again. "What on earth was that all about?!" she asked.
"Well, something crashed into our house...and you ended up scaring it off." Rex told her.
Rex's mother stood silently and observed her surroundings like a boss. There was furniture broken everywhere she could see.
"Someone needs to start cleaning this mess; Rex, can you and Kikue pitch in and help out?" she asked.
Rex sighed, and with a reluctant expression, nodded. "Oh, alright." Kikue puffed her cheeks, but slumped her shoulders as she agreed.
This was going to be a worse cleanup than when the water pipe broke and they had to clean up the water. Rex took a mop and Kikue took a broom. Spending nearly the rest of the night cleaning up the house, Rex and Kikue finally got some sleep.
When morning came, they even slept through breakfast, though their mother was kind enough to wake them up. "Good morning; sorry if you missed breakfast; I was able to make some just for both of you." she said.
"Hmm...thanks." Rex replied, letting out a long yawn.
Rex rubbed his eyes as he got up to get dressed.
After he and Kikue put on their clothes for the day, they headed into the kitchen to eat breakfast. "That was a pretty crazy night, Rex." she told him.
Rex nodded his head. The craziest night he's ever been in.
"If we ever see that Hollow with that super sharp brain, we might need some backup." Rex replied. "You did good in helping me out, by the way." he added.
Kikue smiled, and hugged him.
Rex blushed from the hug given to him by his sister.
He couldn't help but smile, however, and Kikue said, "Thanks!"
"You're welcome." Rex told her. Both of them began eating together, until there was no more breakfast left on the table.
Seemed like the food was finished faster the more their mother made. On the other hand, Rex wondered if today was going to be eventful or not.
Yesterday was a whole avalanche of excitement. What with Seika and the Hollow. After getting dressed, Rex went out to have a breather at the park. When he found an available bench, he sat down on it and relaxed.
This was the one time of day being blind had its perks. He could hear people talking, the sound of feet walking, and perhaps the possibility of someone calling out for him. That calling out turned out to be a hand shaking his elbow.
Rex sensed as to who was shaking his elbow, and discovered it was a younger boy. "Hey, mister. Can you help me?" he asked.
Rex wondered why he was suddenly very important.
"Is there something wrong?" he asked.
"My sister told me she'd be back in a minute with some ice cream, but she hasn't come back. Will you please help me find her?" the boy asked.
"Hmm...I shall help you; hopefully, she's safe." Rex replied.
Rex wasn't sure though how helpful he could be with his permanent blindness though.
He traveled back home, where he was able to get his katana, and returned to the boy. The two then began their search by asking other citizens for clues as to what happened to the woman.
Most of them remembered the girl that was kidnapped, but didn't know anything about anyone suspicious. Rex was somewhat stumped, but he chose to keep searching, until they decided to check the beach.
As they reached their location, the boy gasped as he saw his sister, laying unconscious on the sand. As Rex walked over to her, hoping to see she was okay, he was unaware that another Hollow was watching them. It seemed this Hollow was invisible, and had captured her without being detected.
Rex did what he could do for her and that was check her pulse before picking her up and listening to the kid to lead him to the hospital.
She was still alive, and still breathing, and as she was checked into the hospital, she faintly spoke up. "A Hollow attacked me..."
That was very bad for her. If the Hollow attacked, chances were it wasn't far away.
"Did you remember what it looked like?" Rex asked. The boy was very anxious and worried at the same time about his sister's condition.
"It...It looked like it was transparent, but sometimes a part of it would be visible, then disappeared. It was almost like some sort of ghost, and I ended up running from it at first, then it cornered me at a beach, and grabbed me by the throat. The next thing I knew, it threw me down to the ground." she explained.
This sounded like a very dangerous Hollow.
"I'll make sure to track it down; I might even need some friends to tag along with me, too." Rex told her.
"Thank you, kind sir." the woman replied with a smile.
"Is she okay?" the boy asked.
"Yes, she is still alive." Rex replied.
"Thank goodness; aren't you gonna find that...thing?" the boy asked him.
"I will." Rex said, nodding. He decided to go try and find Seika, Dyado, and / or Arino, or perhaps all of them.
The problem was Dyado and Arino were signed up for couples orgy. Ever since that onsen orgy, they've developed a wanderlust for group sex. Because of this, Seika was the only one present, and as for Jirran lived in a much different location. As Rex arrived at her house, he knocked on the door.
"Hello?" Seika's father asked.
"It's me, Rex. I would like to talk to your daughter." he replied.
"Oh, you mean Seika? Hold on..."
The older man went to retrieve her, who was busy practicing her swordsmanship. "You friend Rex is here!" he called out.
"I'll be right there!" she replied, and immediately went inside the house to meet Rex. "Hey, you need anything?" she asked.
"Just needed your help against this Hollow that kidnapped a little girl and left her on the beach."
Seika gasped in shock. "Oh my god...I'll pitch in and help out!" she exclaimed.
After she retrieved her katana and put it into its sheath, she kissed her father on the cheek. "See you later, dad!"
"Be careful out there!" he replied.
With Seika in tow, Rex returned to the beach, beginning to assume the invisible Hollow was present there.
Rex could usually tell when a Hollow was near. It was the only time his body seemed to have eyes. The Hollow then lunged at Rex, about to grab his throat, before he deflected the attack with his katana. It began to materialize before him, appearing as a cross between a fox and a human.
Rex remembered how foxes use pheromones to lure puppies to them before eating them. It seemed this Hollow lived up to its reputation but with children.
'Are you afraid?' the Hollow asked.
Rex shook his head no, and went for the first attack, providing the enemy with a slash or two on its body.
The Hollow felt barely a scratch from the cut. Why was it the more feminine the Hollow the stronger it was?
It lunged for Rex, its claws penetrating the skin of his arm. This left him with a small wound, but he wasn't giving up as Seika fought back. Seika fought with her katana trying to sever his Hollow arms.
Surprisingly, she sliced through one of its arm, causing it to let out a shrill shriek. It attempted to use its other hand to claw at her, but Seika teamed with Rex to provide a double attack from both the two humans.
The boy, on the other hand, was watching with a look of excitement, cheering on Rex and Seika. Rex was glad his ears weren't as bad as his eyes because this cheering really made his spirit flutter.
By then, the fox-human Hollow hybrid was on its last legs, and Rex providing the finishing blow by slashing through its head. That was enough for it to disappear completely, indicating its death.
Rex was shaking his hands from the force of the blow he delivered.
"Whoa..." he muttered, as he stood there in amazement.
"Did you get him?" the boy asked as he rushed over to them.
"We did." Seika replied.
They raised their arms and shouted "Hooray!"
The trio returned to the hospital, but Rex asked the boy, "What's your name?"
"I'm Kenta! Do you have a name, too?" Kenta asked.
"I'm Rex, and this is Seika." Rex replied. "Hello." Seika said with a smile.
When they returned to Kenta's sister's room, she was still alive and noticed them entering the room. "Did you get the Hollow?" she asked them.
Rex nodded his head to his friends.
"Thank you!" the girl exclaimed, giving Rex a hug.
"You're welcome." he said with a nod.
"Hey...I didn't even get to introduce myself to you guys, with the exception of Kenta. I'm Hinako." Hinako replied.
They all waved hello to their new friend Hinako.
"Hello!" Seika exclaimed.
"It's an honor to meet you, Hinako." Rex replied, shaking Hinako's hand.
"Thank you; I hope you continue fighting against Hollows." she told him.
"And who knows? I might even have another epic adventure like the one I had when I had to rescue my family." he said.
She smiled slightly. Thinking about him so eager to go on an adventure brought joy to her life.
"Kenta and I hope so. Once again, thank you!" Hinako told him.
Rex and Seika smiled, before exiting the hospital together.
Rex felt like a happy young boy who was given a gift.
"I feel pretty good about helping some people out...in fact, I feel like I'm starting to better myself." Rex told Seika.
"I'm glad...so, um...we should hurry home, now. The sun is, after all, starting to set." she replied.
Rex nodded his head. Being blind he wasn't use to ever seeing the sun set. After escorting her home, he considered the idea of visiting Kisuke, Ichigo, and others and telling them about his adventures for the past few days.
They would surely be interested.
He started with Kisuke first, arriving at his home and knocking on the door. When the older man answered, he asked, "Good to see you again, Rex. How are things doing?"
"Pretty good; in fact, I wanted to tell you some of the events that happened for the past few days." Rex replied.
He stood straight and listened to what he had to say,
"Today, I got to track down a fox-esque Hollow who tried to kill this innocent young girl named Hinako. It all started when her brother asked me to find her, and so I looked for Hinako, until I noticed her laying face down on the beach.
After I took her to the hospital, she told me to find the Hollow, and to my surprise, my friend Seika and I found it at the same beach where we found her. After we dealt with the enemy, we returned to the hospital, Hinako and her brother Kenta were happy to learn we got rid of the Hollow." Rex explained.
"That is a very interesting story," Kisuke said thinking about what Rex said and the tea he wanted to drink.
