Hello wonderfuls!

Thank you for the birthday wishes! :D Hope you enjoy this chapter! Have you realised how much Luke sounds like Sebastian (From TMI)? I HATE SEBASTIAN! And LUKE!

And sorry its late. Has anyone seen TFIOS yet? OMG!

Percy's POV

The moonlight poured in through the barred window, signalling that it was time to hatch my escape plan.

The guard watch changed, the new soldier bringing my dinner. As usual, he left it at the door.

"Uh, excuse me sir," I said, and the man jumped, "But would you mind bringing it closer, I can't reach that."

He raised an eyebrow at me. "You can reach it every other time."

I shrugged and approached the door, straining against the chains. I'd suspected that he might not believe me and had wrapped the chains around the bed where it would be out of sight.

The rolled his eyes and opened the door, coming in to give me the meal. As he transferred the plate to me, I whipped my arm and the plate came crashing down on the man's head, knocking him unconscious.

Smirking, I searching his jacket for the keys. I unlocked the cuffs around my wrists and angles and grabbed my makeshift knife before dashing out of the cell.

Should I have killed the guy? Yeah, probably.

I ducked around a corner, hiding the shadows as a squadron went past. I knew the way to the stairwell to the ground level, but then it was a matter of getting past the security.

Annabeth's POV

I stared at my reflection with utter hatred.

The gorgeous white satin dress tumbled down to the floor, the train spreading out behind me. The dress hugged my waist, secured with a jewel belt. The low dipped back and the front of the front of the dress were patterned with silk lace.

I hated how beautiful it was.

It was my wedding dress. I resisted the urge to rip the thing off me.

The thought of being married to Luke made me want to throw up. I was beginning to think how stupid so many girls, including myself, had been in believing that Luke was a great, handsome man.

Two maids came back in to help me out of the dress, and when I was back in my clothes, Luke came into the room.

"Did you like the dress, Miss Chase?" He asked.

I glared at him and walked into the ensuite, slamming the door and pressing my body-weight against it to keep Luke out.

From the other side, I heard his voice call, "It's okay to admit you were wrong."

"I'm not wrong," I growled, "that's precisely why you're on the other side of this door!"

He chuckled. "I wasn't aware exactly how much spirit you have, Annabeth."

"There are many things about me you aren't aware of, Castellan."

Luke was silent for a moment. "Annabeth, can I give a piece of advice?"

"I don't want your advice, nor do I need it."

He ignored me and continued anyway. "There is always more to something than what meets the eye."

I froze, remembering when Percy had said those exact words to me, while I still his prisoner. Luke made a satisfied noise from the bedroom, and I could imagine his smirk as if he knew my reaction even if he couldn't me.

"Annabeth, you are being blind. Percy isn't the hero you think he is."

Then I heard his footsteps retreating. I stepped out a minute later, finding myself alone again.

Leo's POV

Jason, Piper and I sat on the edge of the beach in the moonlight. Just the three of us.

Like it used to be.

Jason and Piper were holding hands, Piper's head resting on Jason's shoulder. I sat with my forearms resting on my knees.

"How did it get to this?" Piper mused quietly. Piper never seemed like the pirate-type. She was so beautiful that she'd used it to her advantage in many instances, pretending to be a noble-bred. Jason, though, was brought for this, and I was always getting into trouble.

But I'd never been in this much trouble. I didn't even feel like making jokes any more.

"So, did you guys find out a way to contact Annabeth?" I asked.

Jason shrugged. "Kinda, but we're not sure if its gonna work."

The waves laped up against the shore, reminding me of the sea-side home I shared with my mom before she was killed in the fire that burnt the house to the ground.

I shivered involuntarily. I had started that fire, with my special powers. Like Percy's and Nico's and Jason's. I had killed my own mother.

"Leo, dude," Jason snapped his fingers in front of my nose. "Are you even paying attention?"

I shook my head to clear my thoughts. "Sorry. What were you saying?"

Jason rolled his eyes. "Reyna said we were going to need you to carry out the plan. We need an invention."

"Awesome." I grinned.

Percy's POV

The bitter chill of the night air bit at my bare skin on my arms. Clouds were beginning to move in over the moon, but there was still enough light for me to safely navigate the city.

After retrieving Riptide from the dungeons armoury, I'd slipped through the guards' watch without being spotted once.

I couldn't help but feel triumphant. If that was Luke's best prison, I had no idea how people hadn't escaped yet. And it was at that very moment, the guard from my cell came running out of the dungeon.

"Guards! A prisoner has escaped! Enact emergency lockdown."

Cursing, I hid behind the barracks and waited as soldiers poured out of the entrance and spread around the perimeter of the prison. Search lights turned on immediately and scanned the ground.

I can't believe this, I thought. I'd gotten so close. I was on the other side of the wall but now there was no chance of me getting out of the area without being spotted.

"Percy," a quiet voice hissed from the shadows behind me.

I spun and whipped out my sword. The boy at the end of my sword let out a familiar yelp. "Nico?"

"Okay listen, I promise I never meant to betray might not believe my but Jason and Reyna have decided to let me help them get you and Annabeth. We know where Annabeth is."

I scowled and pressed the sword harder into my cousin's throat. "What are you talking about."

"Jason has a plan to rescue Annabeth from Luke, but to do it, we need you to do something."

I paused. All common sense in me screamed not to listen. Don't forget, he betrayed you, I told myself. But then again, he came back for me, and I don't really have of a choice.

"What do you need me to do?"

Sorry guys, I'm not very happy with that chapter and I'm actually so sorry that it took so long. I have no excuse.

And I have no idea why its rated T, it just is. I was a fanfic newbie when I started this story. Speaking of stories, I was thinking of writing a new one when this I done.

Percy and Annabeth get stranded on a deserted island after a devastating plane crash. It's inspired by the movie Cast Away. I'm not sure how it will unfold exactly, but would you guys read it?

Please R&R XD
