Tahnee was in the kitchen cooking, she was trying to keep her mind off the adult's out searching for what had caused the huge bang noise that had woken her up from her slumber. She knew it was an odd time to cook though it was a good way to introduce the wolf lake clan to a nice meal in the style they eat it so they see they can eat the same way and have their wolves thank them for feeding them right. They're not like normal wolves they have to feed the human side of them just as much as the wolf side and until they start making both healthy they will stay being weak like other packs. Tiarna had now joined her in the kitchen cooking while Tyrone sat down beside his alpha Dequan who was too busy watching Tahnee to, notice his male Beta had sat beside him though the male beta was watching Tiarna. Aisha had gone upstairs to shower though that didn't bother the other girls they got to work preparing a full meal. They did know the boys were watching them the difference was they didn't care and the boys knew they knew and didn't seem to be bothered by it so they just stayed watching them cook the food knowing whatever they cooked it would be delicious and tasty.
IN THE WOODS.
The adults had been running in their wolf forms for awhile and had not found the reason for the huge explosion that had woken all the skinwalkers staying at the cabin up from their peaceful slumber when Matt said in their mind links "This feels like it was a trap to get us all away from the pups, I think we should head back before we find out it is a trap". Sherman looks at Matts wolf in his own wolf form and said, "You know what I think you're right there is nothing out here the only thing that makes sense is that they exploded it in the riverbed and then waited on us all to leave so they could make there move on the pups". Before anyone could say anymore Marccus and Jamal had left and were running back to the cabin faster than most wolves could run. Their father was a proud dad because he had raised his sons to protect their sister at all costs and that is what they were doing. He ran off to catch up-to them as the wolf lake pack members followed behind knowing there was no way to catch up-to wolves that moved that fast. Jamal got there first followed by Marccus and then there dad.
Their father was happy to see nothing seemed out of place at the cabin and the smell of good food coming from it told him the pups were fine which made him wonder what was really going on in wolf lake because now nothing made any sense to him what-so-ever and that annoyed him a little though he felt better knowing his daughter was safe for now. The smallest thing can bring that man to his knees and that would be if Tahnee got hurt on his watch. Sarah, Sean, Luke and Sophia who were still sitting outside were a little shocked by the speed of the wolves in front of them and how they didn't care that they were sitting there they flipped and got dressed and walked inside like they needed to be sure she was okay letting everyone know something was up out in the woods. Dequan and Tyrone and Tahnee and Tiarna all knew by the smell of the older males from their pack something was wrong. Before Tahnee could ask Dequan said, "What happened out there did you find out what the huge bang was?". The older men all shook their heads and said, "No so you Tahnee go nowhere without someone with you until we know what is going on". Tahnee simply nodded knowing better then to argue with them in the mood they are in.
When Jamal says in a tone just as vicious "That doesn't mean Tiarna or Aisha either we mean a male person who can defend you better". Tahnee went to speak and her father said in more of an Alpha tone "DO NOT ARGUE YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED IF YOU BREAK THE RULE YOU WILL BE PUNISHED AND YOU WON'T LIKE IT TRUST ME". Tahnee nodded she knew now it was not up for debate as she was now given an order and everyone inside and outside now knew even Tahnee will back down if her father goes all Alpha male on her. Tahnee went back to cooking the last few things as the guys made sure the table was extended and thair was enough seats for everyone and started to carry food over to the table. They knew Tahnee was out of sorts after being spoken to like his errant child when she was just going to say she did not think it was fair she was put on lock down though Tyrone and Dequan rarely left her side anyways.
When she was done cooking the last of the food her and Tiarna started making juice and Tea as their wolves could not have coffee it makes them weaker than having Tea. When everyone came inside Vivian and Sarah and her parents and Sophia and Matt, as well as Sean and his family and Luke all noticed no coffee was out on offer to drink, Sherman smirked and said, "Welcome to the life of learning to eat right and drink right to make your human and wolf side stronger as a pair not just one or the other". Vivian and Matt nodded and went and took a seat followed by Ruby and John and then the others. Dequan sat on one side of Tahnee with Jamal on the other and Marccus across from Tahnee and Tyrone on the other side of Marccus letting everyone know the seating order for this event.
Tahnee and Tiarna stood and said they would fix everyone their plate of food so nobody would just pick the meat out and that is what they did. They all had all the food groups she had made and knew they had to eat it all. Sean went right for the Cabbage very excited to try something knew as he wanted his wolf stronger. Luke went for the Carrot because he heard Tyrone say it helped with eye-sight both human and wolves need it so they can see better in the dark. They both pulled faces as they ate it causing everyone to laugh.
