"What the hell are we going to do now?" Helga asked looking at the still blazing house in front of her. "Shek isn't just after revenge now. He is out for blood. We could have been blown up just now!"

"Thanks for stating the obvious Helga." Gerald said under his breath though he was shaking "Let's think of something less obvious shall we."

"Like what?" she asked. He was shocked to find that there was no malice in her voice but curiosity. She was really shaken up about the blast and it was now clear that she couldn't think of anything else.

"Like the fact that Shek knows where we are and that we need to go to the police." he said searching down the streets for them.

"Maybe that isn't the best idea though." Arnold piped up fianlly able to see straight after his encounter with the gas "I mean the only people who knew we were here were the police, right? SO who told Shek? It is possible that Shek has payed off the cops to keep quiet if anything shoud happen to us."

"But it is also possible that those people who took us weren't cops after all." Helga said thinking hard "After all they came to get us, we didn't go to them. So maybe they were just some of Shek's goons."

"Can we really risk that though?" Gerald said "I mean Shek is a really powerful dude, he could very well turn the police."

"Okay so we can't go to the police, now what?" she said throwing her arms up in the air and wincing as the burned flesh stretched. "It's not like we can just walk around town like this. Look at us."

They all did a scan of each other and concluded that she was indeed right. Helga's arm had been burned severly by the flames. Her once ivory skin was now a raw, ugly, red and was peeling. The ends of the flesh coming up was blackend. Arnold had a large cut going from his forhead and over his eyebrow just stopping short of his eye. His shirt was torn and there was blood staining certain spots. Gerald was in slightly better condition as he was on the side of Arnold away from the bomb. His hair was singed and he had a purple bruise blooming on the left side of his face covering it and a cut lip. His ring finger was broken and bent oddly making Helga flinch whenever she looked at it.

"So what do we do? Go into hiding?" Arnold asked looking around at the people who had started to emerge from their homes gazing at the house in horror.

"I think we might have to. At least until we can make sure that Shek is back in prison." Gerald said

"Or dead."

They both looked at Helga in alarm. The three had been through a lot but to suggest that they kill Shek seemed a bit extreme to the two boys.

"Oh don't look at me like that." she sneered "Like it didn't cross your minds at all."

Arnold looked at his girlfriend and shook his head violently "No, no it really didn't. It kind of frightens me that it crossed yours. Helga brining Shek to justice is one thing, but to kill him! Killing him! What would that do."

"It would ensure that we are safe for one thing!" she yelled "The way I see it is this, he is going to come after us whenever he can. Shek obviously holds a grudge. Arnold we put him away nine years ago for something horrible. And in that nine years he has planned his revenge on us. Look at that house! Look at it! We could have been in there. If he has no problem killing us then why should we have a problem killing him. We've killed before."

"That was different Helga," Arnold shouted running a hand through his hair. He had never really gotten over the fact that he had killed several of La Sombra's men in order to survive their little adventure in the jungle. "we had to kill them. They would have killed us if we hadn't fought back."

"How is this any different?" she challanged

Arnold grit his teeth desperatly trying to get his thoughts away from murder and he turned to Gerald who was watching the two fight with a pained expression.

"What do you think Gerald?" he asked

Gerald shifted his feet and looked down at the ground "Look man, I'm not saying she's right but Helga has got a point. If we really need to then we can't rule it out. But I also don't know if we should count it as our only option."

This earned a glare from both of the blondes and he held his hands up in surrender. "You asked me what I thought and I told you deal with it. But if we are going into hiding, which is what I think we should do, we better start running now. Those sirens are getting closer and these people still don't notice us yet. I say we hijack a car and split."

The two blondes looked around and realized he was right. They nodded and grabbed each others hands "We will figure this out later, yeah?" Helga asked looking up at Arnold.

He grudginly nodded before pointing out a running car that a man had left in his driveway as he talked to his neighbor looking up at the burning house. The trio snuck around them and hopped into the car taking off without any notice, starting their lives on the run.
