A/N I apologize for the big delay, but I got sick with something called hyperacusis. If you have hyperacusis, then your ears hurt every time you hear a sound. Since I'm not entirely cured, I cannot tell you when the next update will be. Thank you for understanding.
Ichigo's POV
I was waiting relatively patiently for Urahara to figure out where Karin was. Toshiro… was pretending to wait patiently. His face was no different than usual, but his tapping was beginning to get on my nerves.
"Toshiro!" I snapped, "Stop tapping!" The tapping stopped. I waited for the usual It's Hitsugaya-taichou, but it never came. I looked confusedly at Toshiro. The only thing moving was an occasional twist by his finger, as if he wanted to begin tapping again. "He's going to find out where she is, " I told Toshiro. He looked up at me, surprised.
"Excuse me?" he said.
"Urahara is going find Karin," I said, "so stop being so impatient! Your turn comes later!"
"Ah… Hai," he said with a slightly shocked expression. He looked back down to his hands. I sighed. Really, you would think it was ME that was overly worried about Karin! Don't get me wrong, I was really worried about her, but I knew I couldn't do anything before Urahara found her. I had gotten almost too used to these things. I was shaken out of my thoughts when Toshiro stood up.
"I'm going to get Matsumoto," he simply said and went off before I could say anything.

"Taichou is acting… odd," Rangiku commented. After Toshiro had come back with her, he had gone down to the basement. I nodded.
"Tell me about it," I said, "he snapped at Urahara before, because he didn't think he was working fast enough!" Rangiku turned to look disbelieving at me.
"Really?!" she asked, "Usually he's really patient about that stuff." I sighed.
"I know." I said, "I can't really blame him, though. There's nothing we can DO!" I groaned. Even though I knew, that the best I could do was to wait patiently, it was still pretty damn FRUSTRATING! Rangiku sighed.
"Yeah, I know." She said, "Ah, but Taichou must really love her!" I looked confused at her.
"Eh?" I just said.
"He must really love Karin-chan!" she gushed, "They even went on a date~!"
"They WHAT?!" I yelled. She nodded excited.
"Yup!" she cheered, "They make SUCH a cute couple~"
"Like HELL I'll allow that!" I growled and moved to strangle a certain white haired boy, but Rangiku stopped before I had taken two steps.
"Don't you DARE stop them, Kurosaki-taichou!" she said angrily.
"It's my SISTER, damn it!" I retorted.
"And it's MY Taichou!" she retorted. We went into a staring contest, until Rangiku sighed and said: "Look, can't you please just give them a chance? I just want what's best for Taichou, and he lets himself be young around Karin. I've never seen Taichou so happy and relaxed as he is around Karin." I silently thought about what she had just said.
"Alright, FINE!" I finally said, frustrated, "but if he hurts Karin in any way, I'm going to Bankai his ass!"
"Of course~!" Rangiku said. She creeps me out with the way she says that…
"MATSUMOTO! KUROSAKI-TAICHOU! WE'RE LEAVING!" we heard Toshiro yell from below. Rangiku and I looked at each other.
"I feel sorry for the ones down there." She said sincerely.
"Me too." I agreed.
"GET DOWN HERE NOW!" We hurried down to the basement.
A/N Hope many reviews come your way (it's a greeting for fanfiction writers Ourfavoritefangirl came up with. I think it's awesome!)! You wait for weeks and all I give you is a filler chapter. I'm really sorry! I can't really do anything about the illness though. The doctor couldn't tell me why I had it, he couldn't tell me when I would be healthy again and he couldn't give me any medication for it. My dad bought me something to block out the worst of the sound though. I swear, this illness is the most annoying thing EVER! In the beginning, I couldn't do anything! I couldn't read any books (hardcover books creaks and that sound when you turn the page is really annoying!), I couldn't hear music (though I can handle music better), heck, I couldn't even turn in my bed without my ears hurting! As you probably can see from my long a/n, I am a lot better now. I still can't write a lot on this story, though. I'm going to school, now that I have gotten over the worst of it, and that makes my ears really sore, so I need to rest them as much as I can. In the weekend I usually use the time I can hear without hurting to listen to music, read, talk with friends, etc. I overworked me ears last weekend, though, which made my ears worse for almost the whole week… But yeah, that is why I haven't posted anything lately. I will finish the story, but don't expect anything from me in the near future.

I have actually tried not being able to walk, or rather, I've tried not having any balance for a few months. I got a virus on the balance nerve. Anzau S-Taich: Don't worry, I won't give up on it! I HATE when a story doesn't get finished! There really hasn't been a lot of romance in this story, has there? That may be because of my own relationship. It moved rather slow and smooth, so I'm not used to a lot of romance (^.^;) I'll try to add more romance… as soon as the two lovebirds get back together!

But it's actually not that farfetched of an idea, I think.
