Alright guys last chapter!
Enjoy!
Peter looked at me as I swayed on my feet.
"Go home Crystal, you need sleep."
I nodded.
"Do me a favor?"
He nodded.
"Tell Derek I miss him."
The man looked at me as I gave him a light smile before walking out of Scott's house and driving to my own. As I entered the front door I didn't even make it to my room before I collapsed on the couch and fell asleep.
Feeling something warm press against my shoulder I grumbled and looked over at Derek who was smiling like an obsessed puppy.
"Hey."
I mumbled at him as he pressed his lips to my collar bone.
"Hey. Last I checked your bed was more comfortable than the couch."
I nodded in agreement while rolling over and wrapping my arms around his neck.
"Carry me?"
He laughed and picked me up, easily holding me against him as he walked us back to my room.
"I have the twins in the car, do you mind if they stay here?"
I shook my head, nuzzling into his shoulder before he placed me on the bed. Sighing I easily fell back into my dream world as he tucked me in and kissed me before leaving the room.
Someone screaming woke me up. Sitting up I walked into the living room to see Derek and the twins.
"What's going on?"
Derek sighed.
"They just had a run in with an old enemy."
I nodded and walked over to the werewolf.
"How long was I out?"
He smirked.
"Almost twenty-four hours."
I nodded and kissed his cheek.
"Anything happen I should know about?"
Aiden spoke up.
"Alison is dead."
"What?"
I gasped and looked at Derek as he nodded while starring down the twins. Aiden shook his head.
"Lydia's with Scott. We need to go."
Derek growled next to me as I leaned against him.
"Are you gonna try to convince her to go with you?"
Aiden growled back.
"I'm gonna try and convince her to run and hide. Like any sane person would do."
Derek scoffed.
"Like Danny?"
Ethan growled lowly.
"Allison's dead. Stiles is dying. What do you think?"
Derek gently moved me off of him as he stood up and approached the twins.
"I think Danny won't believe you. And Lydia would never run and hide."
Aiden scoffed.
"Because of Stiles?"
"Because of Scott."
At the twins silent response Derek continued.
"You've been trying to find a way into his pack. Trying to earn his trust, trying to fight for him. You've had it wrong the whole time. You don't fight for a leader. You fight for a leader's cause."
Aiden shook his head.
"What cause?"
Derek sighed.
"Scott's always been about one thing. Saving his friends. He will do anything and everything to save the people he cares about. When there's no chance of winning, he keeps fighting. When all hope is lost, he finds another way. And when he's beaten down, he stands up again. You two want to ear your way into his pack? You want redemption? Find another way to stand and fight."
The pair looked at each other before leaving, with a light sigh I smiled at Derek.
"So, your team Scott now?"
Derek turned and smiled at me.
"He's a good alpha, he'll protect this city."
I nodded and smiled as he hugged me to him.
"You're leaving again."
It wasn't a question but he nodded.
"Just tonight, we're gonna end it all tonight with this fox."
I sighed and hugged him tighter.
"Fine. Be careful and watch Issac's back."
He nodded before leaving my house. With a light groan I slowly got to my feet and moved to make some dinner. Knowing full well I wasn't going to be of any use in this condition.
Halfway through the night Derek sent me a text. Telling me that Isaac and Stiles were okay, the nogitsune was gone, and that Aiden had died in the process. I had to take a seat as I cried over the fallen wolf. A few minutes later I received another text from Derek asking me to pack my bags. I had simply replied with an okay before packing a suitcase, hearing the front door open I walked over and embraced my brother as he walked in.
"Shh, it's okay Isaac, it's okay."
The teen whimpered and hugged me tighter as his body began to shake. Reaching up I rubbed his back as I guided him into the house as Derek walked in and looked at us while I comforted my brother.
"Crystal."
I looked up at him while Isaac took a step back.
"Please come with me. I think we need a vacation."
I nodded and hugged him.
"Please."
He smirked and kissed my hair before letting me go as I looked at Isaac, who looked like a lost puppy.
"And Isaac?"
"He can come to if he wants."
My brothers eyes lit up, no matter how much of a dick Derek was to my brother, he still looked up to him as a role model.
"I take that as a yes."
Derek smiled at us before grabbing my suitcase and walking out of the house, quickly followed by Isaac. Turning around I looked at my house one more time before closing the front door and locking it behind me. With a soft sigh I turned and climbed into Derek's car, kissing him on the cheek as he pulled away from the curve. I didn't care what the future held for us, but I knew it was going to be interesting.
