a/n: We have arrived at the last chapter of, Keep Holding On! It is a very bittersweet moment for me, I have loved this story since the beginning and I'm glad that y'all came along for the ride! Okay, okay, I'm not going to get all mushy just yet. I hope that y'all enjoy the very last chapter! :(

This Moment On

5 MONTHS LATER…

To say that she was exhausted, was an extreme understatement.

Emily Farrelly had spent the last 30 minutes pacing in her bedroom. So much so that she was surprised to not see burn marks on their carpet. She had been up most of the night before, just when she was about to fall asleep, her alarm went off. She wanted so desperately to ignore it and sleep in, but she had two clients booked, so that option was thrown out the window.

Stephen had gone to talk to his parents the night before, when he texted to tell her that he would be spending the night; she began to worry. She knew the type of people her in-laws were, and how vulnerable they could make their son. They were going to try and change his mind, she just knew it!

She could only hope that he didn't allow them to.

"Today's the big day! Are you ready?"

"Just about…" Ted replied as he fixed up his tie, "are all my girls ready?"

"We've been ready, let's go!"

"Okay, okay!" he exclaimed as he ran out of the bedroom, "let's go, let's go; we don't want to be late!"

He just couldn't stop staring at her, ten little toes and fingers. Weighing in at 8 pounds 3 ounces, Nadia Caroline Orton had come into the world exactly one month ago; she was absolutely perfect. Fair skin, brown hair, big green eyes, she was the spitting image of her mother.

"Honey, its 2 AM, you need to get some rest."

Turning around, Randy met the gaze of his wife. Clad in an oversized t-shirt of his, Camilla wrapped her arms lazily around his waist and rested her head on his shoulder.

"She's perfect, isn't she?"

"Yes…" he replied, kissing the top of her head, "just like her mom."

Smiling, she reached for his hand, "Come on, she'll wake us up in about an hour anyway."

Nodding, Randy turned, draping his arm around her shoulders. Looking back once more, he grinned at the outline of his daughter. Life couldn't get any more perfect than it was right now.

Armed with breakfast from a local shop in town, Stephen made his way to the front door of his house. He had spent the previous night at his parents' home, where he had planned to tell them about leaving him and Emily alone. It took him a while to get around to it, he didn't exactly know how to get around to it.

For the past few months his family had been dealing with an illness that had come over his grandmother. She was still in Ireland, so having to deal with the long distance, was really taking its toll on them. His mom, especially. She had been going crazy about it all since they got word of it. Which is why they decided to hold off on telling them to back off a little. Emily didn't want to add any more stress to their plate.

Thankfully, his parents were too focused on Gramma, to really pay their marriage any attention.

Walking into the dining room, he saw Emily sitting at the table scribbling in her planner. "Stephen!" she exclaimed when she saw him, "honey, I was so worried."

"Worried?" he questioned, "I told you where I was."

"Oh, I know… it's just…" she sighed, "so, how'd it go?"

Putting the food and coffee on the table, he sat her down, "Well…" looking into her blue eyes, he smiled, "It took some convincing… but they agreed!"

Emily's eyes lit up, "R-really?"

"Yeah… in fact, they're going to fly to Ireland for a few weeks to help with Gramma."

"Oh, wow!" throwing her arms around him, she smiled, "This will be so good for us, baby. Maybe they could see how good we can actually be for one another."

"Yeah." He smiled, as he held her. Hopefully these next few weeks would drag, so they could enjoy a few days of solitude. Now they could really find who they used to be.

"Just sign here and once more on the back, and we'll be good to go!"

Once they did, Ted and Rylee looked at each other, before looking at their case worker and Hannah, "So it's official now?" Rylee asked, barely able to contain their excitement.

"It is." Hannah said with a smile, "Zendaya and Zahara are officially DiBiases!"

Feeling her arms around his neck, Ted picked up his wife and spun her around, "Let's go get our girls!"

Hand-in-hand, they walked out of the court room, towards the play area they had for children. Five months ago, he and Rylee embarked on this adoption journey. They had originally planned to adopt only one child, but in meeting and getting to know Zendaya, they found that she had a younger more reserved sister, Zahara. When she told them that she didn't want to leave her behind, they decided to adopt them both. It was a no-brainer for them.

Walking into the room, both of the girls ran towards them. After signing them out, the two carried them in their arms and headed out of the building. With her head perched on Rylee's shoulder Zahara asked, "Why were you gone so long?"

"She thought you were never coming back… I told her that you would!"

Laughing, Ted sat them down with them on one side, and Rylee on the other, "Well, we were in the court room signing papers."

"Important work stuff?"

Rylee nodded, wiping a stray tear from her eyes, "Yes, they were very important… but not for work, they were for us."

"Oh, what were they?"

The two looked at each other before Rylee spoke again, "Well, sweeties… when we signed those papers, we officially became your mommy and daddy."

"Oh." Zahara spoke.

"Are you okay with that?"

The two girls were quiet for a while, then they went to whispering in each other's ears.

"Girls?"

"Well," the older of the two spoke, "We kind of already thought that you were our mommy and daddy already."

Laughing, the two hugged the two girls, while they clung to one another. After a while they got up and walked hand-in-hand to their SUV. The DiBiases were finally whole, and they couldn't wait to see what their – now brighter – future held.

a/n: So that was that! I really hope that you guys enjoyed what I put out for y'all, thanks for sticking with me through 25 chapters! Once again, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. Ugh, I can't say that enough guys… I LOVE YOU ALL!

P.S. there are plans for a sequel, but just in case it doesn't happen (for now it will), i think that I left everyone in a place of compete happiness! :) Also, I know that the Orton's segment was rather short. :( but I feel like it got to the point of where they really wanted to be in their marriage. Besides, I promise to make up for that in the sequel. :)
