Feeling suddenly dizzy, J'onn groaned and put his hand to his head as he was forcibly yanked out of Kay's mind by some invisible force.
By this time, Kay had finished the last notes of the music that she had been playing and was setting aside the instrument that she had been playing just a few moments prior and moved on to another. A keyboard this time. And after messing with the settings just a bit to adjust the sound, began to play Beethoven's most famous piece.
Shocking the hell out of Diana, Shayera, Clark and himself despite the fact that he was slowly getting the feeling that none of them should truly be surprised. Because despite her lack of memory about the specifics of her former life, it was becoming painfully obvious that even if her memories weren't intact, her muscle memory remained.
Not only that but she was incredibly talented.
So much so that she could have been a musician before her memory had been tampered with. J'onn thought as she finished playing with the keyboard and moved on. Taking her time and meandering around until she found the next instrument to play.
All in all everyone who entered the store was given a private concert for almost an hour before she grabbed a guitar, flute, violin, keyboard, harmonica and a drum set that she decided to purchase along with some odds and ends to maintain the string instruments.
Along with a mouth piece or two for the flute and paid for them and decided that she would like for them to be delivered to the mansion and turned to her four companions for help since she didn't exactly know the address to the Wayne estate.
Clark was the first to figure out the issue once she turned to look at them, and stepped forward to give the guy behind the counter the address to Bruce's home before they both thanked the guy and then- with the others close behind them- made their way out of the store.
After which they made their way to several other stores where Kay found some more clothing, some shoes, a few coats and jackets, some belts and hats. Some make-up.
Why they even found a store where women could design their own perfumes where Kay took the time to design four of her own perfumes to wear. And two more to act as gifts for Clark's mother and cousin. Each of them light, and exotically floral instead of the trashy, overwhelming scents that most young women wore today.
She also took the time there to design a few cologne's. One for Clark. One for Bruce. One for J'onn (which surprised and pleased him greatly though he was still puzzling over what had happened earlier). One for Alfred. And the last one was of course for Clark's father.
Each one had been specifically designed to suite each person's personality traits.
Clark's smelled like a light musk. Bruce's smelled like dark spices. And J'onn's smelled like the ocean and the wind on a clear sunny day. All in all he was very impressed by Kay's choices in scents.
They suited each of them perfectly.
Soon after they left that particular shop, Kay asked if they could take a break at the food court. The other's agreed, if only to allow their charge to rest for a little while before getting back to shopping. After all, Kay had yet to manage to go anywhere near a formal clothing store.
In fact if anything she seemed to be avoiding them. Which was something that they would have to put a stop too since she needed to get herself one or two more dresses for the upcoming charity event at Wayne manor and another for the holidays.

The food court was beyond crowded as the small group made their way over to a newly abandoned table that had previously belonged to a group of hormone driven teenage boys- one of whom had made the mistake of copping a feel of Kay's generously rounded rear.
In front of a horrified looking Clark, Diana, Shayera, and an utterly furious looking J'onn no less.
Kay had however handled the situation herself before J'onn or the others could so much as send a glare in the kids direction and had grabbed the groper up out of his seat- by his ear. And proceeded to publicly humiliate him in front of everyone in the food court for doing such an ungentlemanly thing to a woman older than himself by at least six years.
Telling him in a rush that he wasn't so young- nor she too old- to take his sorry butt over her knee and spank in front of god and everyone like a three year old.
Once done, she released the boy who muttered in a shocked tone, "S-Sorry." Before he grabbed his things and he ran off, his friend's following suite close behind him after they quickly finished clearing off the table that they had been using.
Kay glared at each of them with her arms crossed over her chest as she watched them go before huffing a little bit in annoyance and growling out, "Brats." As she grabbed a chair and pulled it out enough to sit down in as the others all followed her lead.
Clark sitting across from her with Diana and Shayera while J'onn moved his seat so that he would be sitting beside Kay. His mind slipping into Kay's and lightly touching/reading her thoughts and emotions.
Her mind was in utter chaos. As if the teen's actions had somehow wounded her.
Something that was unexpected for such a trivial experience and yet, he could feel emotions cutting deeply into his brain almost like a knife would cut through butter.
It was painful. And terrifying.
And it was almost more than he could stand. Yet he braved her turbulent mind, even when it began to hurt him, and used his own mind to manipulate her into calming as Clark shifted uncomfortably for a moment before asking if anyone wanted anything to eat or drink, knowing that by now Kay had to at least be feeling a bit on the hungry side now that she was eating regularly again.
Diana and Shayera quickly picked up on his thoughts and asked him to get them something too as Clark turned expectant eyes on Kay and J'onn.
Kay muttered that she'd just have a drink. After being felt up by a perv she apatite was sort of lacking at the moment. While J'onn asked it he would grab him a fruit bowl and a drink. Clark nodded knowing that J'onn didn't have any particular fondness for most fruits and would only eat grapes or berries at the most. But that wasn't something that anyone outside of the League knew.
Meaning that he planned to foist his food off on Kay. Probably claiming to have a sudden upset stomach or something.
Clever. Very clever. That's definitely a trick I'll have to remember. Clark thought as he went to stand in line at one of the stands so that he could get everything that the others had asked him to get.
