Chapter 25:
The next day:
Jack POV:
Elsa and Anna had left this morning before school, Anna had finally decided to leave but would come back during Christmas Break. Elsa's totally left a memory behind, but luckily I was able to cover all three of them with a white scarf. My dad said I looked "classy" but no one questioned it.
After school, I walked with Ariel and Rapunzel.
I didn't really pay attention to their conversation, since I wasn't interested in hearing about all of the other girl's singing.
Ariel had auditioned for the part and she got it! The play would be on December 3rd and Ariel was so excited.
Punzie and Merida had gone to her house after school to help her practice. When we reached the end of the street we said our good byes and Merida and Punzie walked to Ariel's house. I walked home and did my homework as soon as I arrived.
Preparing myself for another Elsaless months.
December 1st...
Elsa POV:
I walked into my brand new office at Arendelle Business completely uninterested. I wasn't all excited for my new job as much as I hoped I would be. It just meant more time away from family. Amanda had left me alone for me to get settled in. The good thing was that this Friday was my last day.
Friday I was allowed to take a break and come to work after college.
All I had to do this week was talk to Amanda about potential Universities to attend and how many years I will take. I had 3 choices to research, Corona University, Arendelle University, and Burgess University, since those 3 were the closest choices I had.
After work, I drove home since Anna refused to take music lessons. When I arrived, I drove inside the huge closed gates. Then I parked my car in the huge drive way and stepped out. I breathed in the cold air and sighed in relief. Snow was coming soon.
I opened the door and walked inside the warm room. I took of my sweater and placed it on the coat hanger.
I walked upstairs and went to my room. I walked towards the bed and collapsed. I was so tired. I closed my eyes and desperately waited for sleep to take over. But then, a knock was at my door.
"Miss Elsa, we have prepared dinner, please join your sister downstairs in ten minutes." Kai said
"Alright, thank you!" I said
I sighed and walked over to Marshmallow who was sleeping in his bed. I smiled and pet him, I got up and fixed my hair quickly before walking out of my room to join Anna downstairs. I closed the door behind my room and walked downstairs. I walked through the huge living room and made my way towards the dining room. I walked inside and sat down at the table. Within minutes Anna ran in and sat next to me.
She smiled and waved, I giggled and bowed my head.
"How are you?" I asked
"Well, tired. What about you?" Anna asked
"Tired as well." I yawned.
"Well, after Friday you can rest as much as you need." She smiled
I nodded and we continued chatting until Gerda brought us our food.
Later that evening, I was finishing up some of my college applications.
I sat down on my bed and picked up my pair of glasses from my bed side table. I had gotten these glasses not only to help my not so poor vision but Amanda said they made me look professional. I picked up a blank application for Arendelle University. I had already considered my choices but if I could choose one it would have to be Arendelle University. I yawned and set aside the papers. Marshmallow jumped on the bed and cuddled into my lap. I smiled and pet him. I yawned again and stretched, I was really tired. I got in the blankets and turned off my lamp. I took of my glasses and put them on the table. I yawned and went to sleep.
The next day...
Jack POV:
I followed behind Ariel and Punzie carrying boxes to the drama room. I promised Ariel I would help her with the play. It was tomorrow after all. I set the boxes down on the table and we all sat down.
"What do you need these boxes for?" Punzie asked
"I actually need help with my costumes.." Ariel said
I gasped, "I do NOT know hot to make clothes!" I said
Ariel nodded, "I'm aware, but you promised to help!"
I sighed.
"Besides, Punzie is really good at sewing." Ariel said
I turned to look at Punzie, she simply nodded.
"Well then, no harm in trying." I said
"Perfect!" Ariel clapped
"What do we need to make?" Punzie asked
Ariel pulled out a sketchbook from her backpack and set it on the table.
"The drama department is making the gown, but I need the mermaid outfit by tomorrow." Ariel said
She walked over to me and picked up a box. She opened it up and got a folded bunch of purple fabric. Along with, a green bunch of spandex fabric, scissors, pins, and a marker.
"Easy peasy." Punzie said, folding up her sleeves.
"That's what you say, it seems kind of complicated to me." I muttered
"Non sense!" Punzie said, opening up her backpack and taking out some measuring tape.
"I need to take your measurements." Punzie said, walking over to Ariel.
Ariel nodded and Punzie measured her.
I ignored them for a second and picked up the fabrics. Hopefully I wouldn't mess anything up.
Punzie came back with a notepad in her hands.
"Let's get started." Punzie said
Ariel clapped again and they both began their sewing magic.
We finished around 8:30 pm.
Punzie and Ariel did mostly all of the work. They both placed the costume on a mannequin and we admired our work.
The top was short and purple and gathered in the center to make it look like a pair of sea shells. The pants were green and in looked like they had fish scales, it also had 'fins' on the sides of the pant legs, when the legs were together it looked like a mermaid fin. The costume turned out really great.
Punzie and Ariel yawned and gathered their things. Our parents picked us up and drove us home.
As soon as I got home, I ate really quickly and went to sleep.
The next morning...
Today was Thursday. Today was the day of Ariel's play. I was looking forward to supporting her, but honestly, musicals weren't my thing. The play was at 7:00 pm. tonight and I promised Ariel I would be there early to cheer her on. Punzie was already at school and would be staying with her until the show.
I walked to school with Eric as he wanted to cheer Ariel on as well. When I arrived I went to class and focused as I always did.
I walked around the halls after school ended since I didn't want to leave home just yet.
I walked to the end of the school and caught a glimpse of Vanessa. I stopped in my tracks.
I wasn't shocked at Vanessa, I was shocked at who she was with.
"Jack Frost!" Pitch exclaimed, walking over to me with Vanessa holding his hand.
I looked at him in shock.
"W-What are you doing here?" I stuttered
"I just transferred here!" he laughed.
I looked at him, confused. Did he just say what I thought he said? It took my brain a while to process everything.
"Really?" I asked
"Yeah, Vanessa was just showing me around..." He said
Vanessa nodded and smiled.
"W-Well.." I said
"Well, I'll enjoy seeing you around." Pitch said
"Let's go.." Vanessa said
Pitch nodded and they walked away from me.
I shook my head and walked over to the exit.
Awesome.
I had two enemies at this school.
I walked home and got myself ready for the show. I dressed in a white long sleeved shirt and dark blue pants.
I put on a black jacket and my dad offered to take me to the play. I took the offer and my dad drove me to the school. I got out of the car and walked inside of the warm building. There was a ticket line in the cafeteria. I clutched the ticket in my pocket and walked over to the auditorium.
Tooth was in charge of letting people in.
"Got a ticket, Jack?" She asked
I chuckled and handed her the ticket. She smiled and let me inside of the auditorium. I realized not alot of people were here. I caught a glimpse of Mr. and Mrs. Sun in the audience. I walked over to the stage and climbed on the stairs backstage. I walked to Ariel's dressing room and knocked.
"Who is it?" Punzie's muffled voice asked
"Jack." I muttered
Punzie opened the door and let me in. Ariel was in her chair doing her makeup.
"How is everytihng?" I asked
"Well, we have her hair done, her make up is almost done, and her costume is perfect and finished." Punzie said
Ariel giggled and put the finishing touches on her face. She put a bit more of hairspray in her hair. She got up and walked over to us.
She took a deep breath.
"I'm ready." She said
Punzie squealed excitedly and opened the door.
Ariel walked ahead of us with Punzie and I behind her.
We were stopped by one of the people that was in charge of getting the people ready.
"Ariel, the show starts in 5 minutes." He said
Ariel nodded and ran over to the side of the set.
"We're going to need for you two to go to your seats." He said to us.
We nodded and we walked over to the stage and walked downstairs. We found Punzie's parents and sat down next to them.
When the show started, the auditorium got quiet and Punzie and I anxiously waited for Ariel's big moment.
After the show, the crowd gave a standing ovation. Punzie and I clapped and cheered. Ariel and the cast bowed and the everyone proceeded to leave. Punzie ran up to Ariel and tackled her in a hug. Merida, who I hadn't noticed was here also tackled her. I walked over to Ariel and congratulated her. She smiled and ran over to Eric.
Today was a nice day.
Next day...
Elsa POV:
I walked out of the office completely excited. I was officially out of work! I ran inside my car and happily drove home.
When we arrived, I ran home and threw off my jacket. I ran in my room and put on a pair of sweatpants, a sweatshirt and let my bun down so my braid fell down my shoulders. I collapsed on my bed and cuddled into my covers.
I heard Anna knock at my door and I excitedly opened the door. Anna smiled and walked in my room.
"I bet you're exhausted." She said
I nodded and collapsed at the bed. She closed the door and sat next to me.
"Are you ready to leave?" I asked
Anna smiled.
"Yes!" She squealed.
"When are we leaving?" She asled
"We'll leave on the night after Christmas." I said
"Oh, Oh!" She said excitedly.
"What?" I asked
"I wanted to know if you would allow Kai, Gerda and I throw a birthday party for you.." Anna said
I sighed deeply.
"Anna, you know I don't like all that attention.." I said, rubbing my temples.
"I know, I know! But it will only be our family, our family friends, and friends!" Anna exclaimed.
"Ugh, Anna, I'm not sure." I groaned
"Please..! We haven't thrown a proper birthday party for either of us in 4 years!" Anna exclaimed, turning to look at me.
I groaned, "Anna, only a small one."
"Yay!" She cheered
She got up and jumped around my room cheering.
"No loud music, no more than 30 people, and please make sure nothing goes wrong! I wouldn't like to be embarrassed on my 17th birthday.." I said.
"Understood!" She said
I giggled as she excitedly ran out of my room.
